fter Yanis got off the plane, she went straight to the hospital with Zane. Albi parked the car at the

entrance of the hospital.

Yanis looked at Zane and said, "You and Phoebe go back first. I'll go in by myself."

"I'll accompany you," Zane said as he was about to get out of the car.

Yanis spoke up, "You go back first and rest for a while before coming to pick me up. I want to spend

more time with Bonnie."

At this point, Phoebe timely spoke up, "Brother, you should go back first. Sister-in-law probably wants

to chat with Miss Cooke. It's not convenient for her if we're all here talking about certain topics anyway;

besides sister-in-law is here so she won't run away."

Zane glanced at Phoebe then looked at Yanis and said, "Then I'll come pick you up later."

Yanis nodded in agreement saying,"Okay, send Phoebe home first then also take some rest yourself."

Zane responded with an affirmative sound saying,"If there's anything just give me a call."

"Okay."

Zane sat in his car watching Yanis enter the hospital before instructing Albi to drive.

"What? Worried about sister-in-law?"

Phoebe asked as she saw Zane looking outside through his window.

Zane lifted his gaze towards Phoebe and asked an unrelated question: "What's going on between you

and Ivan?"

After hearing Zanes words , Phobe casually replied,"It's nothing much really; I like him but he doesn't

like me."

Upon hearing what Phobe had just said, Zanes looked at her asking again ,"So did you give up?"

Phobe adjusted her sitting position replying ,"Do you think that I'm someone who gives up easily?"

"Keep trying then."

Zanes replied indifferently.

After listening, Zanes' words , Phobe chuckled lightly saying ,"Brother, you were being selfish when

telling me that, right? You're worried that Ivan might still have designs on sister-in-law, right?"

Looking calmly towards her, Zanes replied lightly,"If that's how it seems right now, you should keep

trying for your sister-in-law too".

With a sound of agreement from Phobe, she added:"Even if it wasn't for my sister-in-law, I'd still have

to keep trying so that my brother doesn't end up alone".

"Albi, park here. Let her get down now."

Albi cleared his throat before speaking seriously: "I am Mr. Lawrence's subordinate. I naturally have to

listen Mr. Lawrence's orders."

Nodding in agreement , Phobe added,"Yes, you should listen my brother. Otherwise he might deduct

half your salary or something."

Albi nodded with deep emotion. "Did I miss something?" Zane asked lightly.

Albi shook her head quickly. "No, nothing really happened."

Phoebe couldn't help but laugh at Albi's nervous expression. "Albi, just take me back to the Lawrence

Mansion now. I'll go back by myself later."

Phoebe turned to Zane and asked, "Brother, do you want to go back and spend time with Grandma and

Grandpa?"

Zane checked the time on his watch before replying, "Sure."

At the hospital, when Yanis went to find Bonnie's ward, she saw Stella and Wendy inside helping

Bonnie eat an apple while Alfie stood beside her talking.

Yanis couldn't help but smile at the scene.

"Sister Yanis!" Before Yanis could enter the room, Alfie spotted her first and ran towards her.

Yanis caught him in her arms.

Bonnie along with Stella and Wendy all looked up at Yanis as she entered the room.

After meeting their gaze for a moment or two, Yanis chuckled softly. "What? Are you unhappy to see

me? If so then I'll leave right away."

As she spoke these words she pretended to turn around as if leaving them behind.

"Stop! Come back here!" Bonnie shouted after Yanis. "Weren't you supposed to be traveling with Mr.

Yanis placed her bag on a nearby chair before looking towards Bonnie again. "I just didn't feel like

traveling anymore so I came back early."

Bonnie stared at Yanis for a while before asking pointedly,"So it was because of me that you came

back?"

Without answering directly, Yanissaid,"What did your doctor say? You're goingto stay in bed like this

forever?"

Bonnie replied,"For now yes, I can't move much. I have been given medication for fetal protection.

Once things stabilize, I will be fine."

With that said, Bonnie looked towards Yannis again."Why didyou suddenly comeback anyway? I'mfine

here. If there was anything wrong, I would have called youto letyou know."

Sitting down nexttothe bed, Yannis replied,"You are lying in ahospitalbedwhileI am out having fun. Isn't

it unfair?"

"What's not fair about it?" Bonniesaid."There isnothingwrongwithme, andlookatthese three. They are

practically guardingme liketheyare afraidofsomething happening tome. Whatcouldpossiblygo wrong?"

Stella chimed in too."We onlycamebecauseMr. Hughes told us otherwise we wouldn't even

knowanything."

Wendy also chimed in, "Boss Cooke is not honest at all."

Bonnie looked a bit helpless at the two of them and asked, "Are you trying to judge me or criticize me?"

"Bonnie, good children should listen." Alfie stood by the bed, looking at Bonnie seriously.

Bonnie reached out and gently pinched Alfie's face, "Why aren't you on my side? Did the puppies eat

all of my delicious food?"

Alfie immediately barked twice at Bonnie, "Woof woof~"

Bonnie: "... you're really great."

Wendy raised her hand and rubbed Alfie's head before turning to Bonnie. "What do you want for lunch?

I'll make it and bring it over later."

"Don't bother, we can just order takeout later." Bonnie replied.

Wendy looked at Bonnie and said, "What's wrong? Is my cooking not good enough? Are you starting to

complain?"

Bonnie quickly shook her head and said, "No, no, absolutely not."

Stella said, "Let Wendy go home and make some food. I can pick it up later. You should be careful and

not eat out all the time. Home-cooked meals are still better."

Yanis chimed in, "Let Wendy get ready. I'll just drive over while I'm at the hospital. It's not far."

Seeing that the three people were in agreement, Bonnie didn't say anything further.

After all, the minority must obey the majority.

Wendy and Alfie stayed for a while and then went back to the store to prepare food.

Stella left early because the store was expecting a lot of goods today. She chatted with Bonnie and

Yanis for a while before leaving.

In the end, only Yanis and Bonnie were left in the hospital room.

"You haven't told me how you accidentally fell yet," Yanis handed water to Bonnie.
