Chapter 745: Don't You Like Him Anymore?

Bonnie hadn't snapped out of it yet when the bedroom door was suddenly kicked open, and Myles

walked in with a stern face. She stood there, completely stunned, as Myles approached and lifted her

from the bed, wrapped in a blanket.

Bonnie didn't ask about the condition of the person who had been beaten, nor did she care. After that

day, their relationship on the surface remained unchanged. Myles kept assuring her that he wouldn't

mind, as long as they were good together.

At that time, Bonnie had no certainty in her heart, but Myles' sincerity was right in front of her, as if that

incident had never happened. For the past month, they carried on as before, without a single mention

of that night.

She had thought that the matter had been silently forgotten between them. Bonnie also abandoned the

cooperation with the wedding planning company and gave up her "ambition." She no longer thought

about collaborating with anyone and wanted to develop on her own.

That was when Bonnie started receiving wedding planning orders repeatedly.

After hearing Bonnie's account, Yanis took a while to find her voice. She leaned forward and gently

embraced Bonnie. "You didn't say a word to me all this time, Bonnie. You've really crossed the line."

Bonnie smiled. "Yanis, I used to think it was my fault, that I had a bad temper. Myles loved me more

than anyone else, and I even believed that no matter what I did, he would always treat me well. But

now I realize that there are things that just haven't reached the point of being beyond choice. Once it

does reach that point, even if you truly love someone, you would want to let go. You would feel that all

the previous efforts were not worth it."

"Although he never mentioned that incident again, I know he has never truly moved past it."

"After all, who can really let go of such a thing? If it were Myles, I might not be able to do what he did,

pretending that nothing had happened. He was able to tolerate and get along with me so calmly for

such a long time, which is already enough face for me and the Cooke family."

Bonnie's voice was soft, as if she was talking about something unrelated to herself. Yanis gently held

Bonnie, wanting to offer words of comfort. But as the words reached her lips, she realized that such

comfort would have no effect. Content held by NôvelDrama.Org.

"Why did you suddenly end up like this? Myles...," Yanis began to ask, but Bonnie interrupted her.

"We broke up."

Yanis hadn't finished her sentence, and Bonnie shook her head, whispering, "I was the one who

brought it up. I couldn't pretend like him that nothing had happened."

Yanis, still having some other suspicions in her mind, wanted to ask but hesitated when she looked at

Bonnie.

"Yanis, do you want to ask me why I suddenly suggested breaking up?" Bonnie asked, not denying

anything.

Yanis nodded slightly, acknowledging it.

"Because he was retaliating against me. He had relationships with other women, and I felt that since it

was like that, we shouldn't be together anymore. After all, neither of us had truly let go. Otherwise, he

wouldn't have done such things."

After hearing Bonnie's words, Yanis remained silent, holding Bonnie without asking or saying anything

more.

"Yanis, I'm okay now," Bonnie said, softly withdrawing from Yanis' embrace.

"As for the matter of the child, I'll reconsider it."

Yanis nodded and didn't hide anything from Bonnie. She honestly explained that she had gone to see a

doctor and suggested, "Once your back injury improves a bit, we'll go for a routine check-up. Afterward,

we'll see what the doctor says. If it really can't be kept, then it can only be considered fate. But if it's still

possible to continue, you should think it over carefully."

Bonnie nodded. "I understand."

On the other side.

After Zane dropped Freddy off at the Cooke Residence, he got out of the car and opened the door for

Freddy.

"Thanks." Freddy got out of the car and thanked Zane.

"No problem, I'll head back now," Zane greeted Freddy and planned to leave.

"Zane." After turning around, Freddy turned back to look at Zane.

Zane responded, "Does Mr. Cooke need something?"

"Do you know where Myles has been lately?" Freddy looked at Zane and asked.

Zane shook his head, "He didn't say."

"Do you guys keep in touch?"

After a moment of hesitation, Zane nodded, "Yes."

Freddy remained silent for a few seconds before speaking up, "Zane, can you let me talk to Myles on

the phone? His phone has been off, and I can't reach him."

Meeting Freddy's gaze, Zane hesitated for a few seconds, picked up his phone, dialed Myles' number,

and handed the phone to Freddy.

Freddy thanked him again and took the phone from Zane's hand.

Once the call connected, Myles quickly answered, and his voice came through, "How is she? Is she

okay?"

After hearing Myles' words, Freddy calmly said, "If you want to know, why don't you come and see for

yourself?"

Freddy's voice carried a hint of coldness.

Upon hearing Freddy's voice, Myles fell silent for a few seconds before respectfully calling out, "Uncle

Cooke."

"I can't bear the title of 'uncle' anymore, Myles."

"Uncle Cooke, I... I'm sorry. I... I've made you all worried about me and Bonnie."

Freddy didn't respond to Myles' words directly but asked, "Myles, do you no longer like her, or do you

feel that after being together for a long time, she's no longer the person you want?"

"Uncle, I..."

"Tell me the truth. If you truly don't like her anymore, if you don't want her, it's okay. You don't need to

run away and not even dare to stay in Manches City. Manches City doesn't belong to our Cooke family

alone. So as long as you say you don't like her, as long as you say it once, Bonnie won't cling to you,

and you don't have to hide like this."

Freddy calmly interrupted Myles' words.

Myles' words were left hanging on his lips.

"Uncle, I'm sorry."

"So you don't like her, right?" After Freddy asked, he continued, "I understand. Let's leave it at that.

There's no need to say anything more."

After saying that, Freddy hung up the phone.

If he didn't like her anymore, there was no need to persuade anything further.

After hanging up the phone, Freddy handed the phone back to Zane. "Thank you."

Zane took the phone. "Why didn't you tell him about Bonnie's pregnancy?"

Freddy waved his hand. "No need."

After saying that, Freddy looked at Zane. "You can go and do your thing. I'll go inside."

Zane nodded, watched Freddy enter through the gates of the Cooke Residence, and then turned to

leave.
