Addicted to Luring – Mister, Please Behave

Chapter 33: I’ll Make You Never Get Out of Bed

Since leaving the hotel, Wendy had been silent. It was not until she went home and locked herself in the study that Rex realized that something was wrong.

However, there was no reason for him to coax others. Rex paced back and forth outside the study. Just as he didn’t know what to do, his phone rang.

He looked down at the CID. It was Rosaria.

Why isn’t she sleeping at this hour?!

“Brother……”

Rex was just about to teach her a lesson when he heard Rosaria’s sobs in her voice. His heart skipped a beat. “Rosaria, what’s wrong?”

Rosaria held her phone and cried bitterly, “Brother, i doesn’t dare to sleep alone. Can you come with me?”

Rex frowned. “Rosaria, i can’t.”

“Brother! You used to dote on me a lot! Do you really not love me anymore?” Rosaria kept pestering him. Rex hadn’t come to see her for a long time. He hadn’t acted like this before.

Ever since that woman appeared……

At that thought, Rosaria gritted her teeth. “Don’t come to see me again. I doesn’t want a brother anymore. I’ll jump out of the window now!”

Upon hearing this, Rex panicked, and even his tone changed. “Rosaria! Rosaria…… Don’t be impulsive, I’ll be there right away. Wait for me, I’ll be there soon!”

After hanging up the phone, Rex raised his hand and wanted to knock on the door of the study, but he felt a little uncomfortable in his heart.

Forget it. Let’s talk about it when i get back.

Wendy leaned against the door and heard Rex’s hurried footsteps. She felt extremely aggrieved and tears kept welling up in her eyes. She bit her lip and desperately tried not to let her tears fall.

Rex, am I so insignificant in your eyes? Then why did you marry me back then?

Suddenly, someone knocked on the door three times. Wendy’s eyes immediately flashed with joy and she quickly opened the door. “Rex!”

Clare was stunned for a moment before he nodded and said, “Mrs. Gavyn, Mr. Gavyn asked me to help you review your homework.”

Quite funny.

He was really good at saving trouble!

Wendy’s expression did not look good. Her voice was cold and indifferent as she said, “There’s no need, I’ll do it myself.”

After she finished talking, she slammed the door shut.

How did the Mr. Gavyn offend Mrs. Gavyn? Couldn’t the two of them get along peacefully?

It took a lot of effort for Rex to coax Rosaria to sleep. He drove the car back as fast as he could. As soon as he got home, he went straight to the study.

The door was not closed and he gently pushed it open. As he had expected, Wendy was so tired that she had fallen asleep.

Rex slowly approached her and bent down to look at Wendy’s sleeping face, which was as peaceful as a baby’s. The corners of his mouth curled up as he took a piece of tissue from the side and carefully wiped away the saliva at the corner of her mouth.

Rex gently lifted her little head, as he was afraid that he would wake her up. He did not even dare to breathe too loudly, but who would have thought that Wendy would speak in her sleep and he accidentally knocked her head against the table.

Rex was just about to make up for it when he saw that Wendy had completely woken up. She glared at him and asked, “What are you doing?”

Rex didn’t want to admit that he had done something wrong, so he put on a cold face and said, “Don’t dirty my table with your saliva.”

Wendy dreamed of Rex sleeping with a woman. Coupled with the fact that she had been unhappy tonight, when she heard what he said, she immediately burned with anger. She stood up and glared at him like a little tiger. “Yes! I’m dirty! Rex, I’m so dirty and you’re sleeping with me. You’re really wronged!”

This woman!

The sleeping lion was awakened. Rex’s eyes had become extremely cold. He grabbed Wendy’s chin and forced her to look straight at him. “Take back what you said!”

“I don’t want to!” Wendy struggled with all her might, but she discovered that he was tightening his grip even more, and it looked as if he wanted to eat her alive.

“Wendy, I’ve had enough of you!” Rex flung her aside and she almost knocked into the corner of the table. She held onto the table and got up with a cold smile. “That’s right. I’ve never seen you treat me as gently as you treat your sister. I’m just your assistant! That’s all!”

Wendy deliberately emphasized the words “Assistant”. When Rex heard this, he instantly understood. Was the argument she had with him the whole night because of his words?

She was even jealous of his sister.

In the next second, Rex’s eyes softened and he asked with a smile, “Are you jealous again?”

“What do you mean by that? I’m not jealous at all!” Wendy continued to add, “And I’m just your assistant. Why should I be jealous?”

In a word, she was jealous and said that she was not jealous.

Rex was in a good mood as he said, “Alright, I’ll take it that you’re not jealous, okay?”

“No, I didn’t,” Wendy said with a pout.

The old-fashioned clock on the wall reported the time on time. Rex rubbed his throbbing temples and was a little tired. “Okay, I’m tired.”

“Then you can go to sleep.” Wendy sat down, opened the textbook, and was ready to recite books.

Rex grabbed the textbook and said coldly, “Go back to sleep! If you don’t sleep, I’ll make sure you can’t get out of bed!”

Wendy shuddered. Her eyelashes fluttered as she said in a low voice, “Let’s sleep then.”

Rex smiled with satisfaction.

The night was quiet. Wendy lay flat on the bed, not sleepy at all. What was the relationship between her and Rex now?

She did not understand his occasional kindness to her, and she did not understand the special feelings in her heart.

“Rex, do you think I’m a little stupid?”

Wendy had only dared to brazenly look at the man beside her under the cover of the moonlight. Who would have thought that their eyes would meet in the next second? In that split second, her heart violently pounded in her chest. This content © Nôv/elDr(a)m/a.Org.

Rex did not tell anyone that he actually had a slight night blindness. Even though they were standing so close to each other, he could not see her appearance clearly. There was only a general outline of her. If he did not know her well enough, he would have treated her like a stranger and punched her directly if she disturbed his dream.

He had never shown weakness to anyone, but he would only show weakness when facing her.

Rex stretched out his hand to cover her eyes. His voice was no longer as low as before. It was as clear as pure wine, and it was extremely pleasant to the ear.

“Sleep.”

It was just one word, but they somehow made one feel at ease.

Actually, what was the point of thinking so much? Let nature take its course.

Wendy gave a soft sound of acknowledgement before falling asleep. In her dream, she dreamed of her own wedding.

The sea breeze blew gently, and the beach was full of holy white roses. There was a soft sand under her feet, and the man in front of her……

“……Rex Gavyn?”

Hearing her call his name, Rex immediately opened his eyes and found that the side of the piltlow was wet.

She cried.

“Do I make you so sad?” He reached out to wipe the tears from the corners of her eyes and asked as if he were talking to himself.
