Chapter 33 – Power Hungry

When I enter the packhouse I can feel the tension, I see Leonard and he comes over to me, bowing his
head.
‘What’s going on here? It’s never so tense and quiet?” | ask.
“Your highness, everything is fine, just Luna Tina ordering everyone around.” I sigh that She–wolf
is becoming a bigger problem than she should be.
“Is she in my office?” I ask.
“Yes your highness, I showed her there as you asked.”
“Thank you, Leonard. When you are done cooking, go home to your family.”
“Thank you, your highness.” Sometimes I really do hate when my packmembers
insist on using my title. I turn around to go when Leonard stops me.
“Your highness, if I may. Be careful with the Luna. She is acting as if she is our queen.” He says looking
down.
“What you mean Leonard, and please call me Liam.”
“She has been ordering the omega’s around, all from changing the
already clean bedding to go get her new
clothes from the stores. Yelling at them if she didn‘t like it.” He tells me and I raise an eyebrow.
“I will handle it, please get me a list with the Omegas she has ordered around if you can. I tell him and
he bows before going back to the kitchen. I am fuming, what the hell is this woman‘s problem. She has
no right to treat my people like this.
I walk towards my office a little pissed off. Here I am helping and offering a place to stay until they can
either join a new pack or try to save their own. Saving their own is less likely with the alpha being dead
and his heir being only a toddler. Getting to my office I take a second, and a deep breath before openin
g the door and walking in, and freezing at the sight waiting for me.
“What the fuck do you think you are doing?” walking in the first thing I see
is Luna Tina sitting in my chair, naked.
“My king, you let me wait long enough.” She whines trying to sound seductive.
“Get the fuck out of my chair, and get dressed,” I say trying to calm down.
“But my king, I want to be at your
service. You lost your mate, let me take her place and I will make you happy.” As if she thinks I don‘t un
derstand what the fuck she is trying to do, she spread her legs put her feet on my desk, and begin to pl
ay with herself in front of me.
I
become furious, I walk over to her, just as she pushes two fingers inside herself, making me want to thr
ow up when her arousal floods my office. I grab her arm yanking it away from her and pull her
off my chair, and drop her on the floor.
“I will only say this one more time. GET DRESSED, OR I WILL THROW YOU OUT OF HERE NAKED”
I yell the last part. And she scrambles to get up and get her clothes on. When she is finally dressed I
walk over t o her and say in a dangerous tone.
“Do not ever try to seduce me again. I have the most amazing woman in my life. And
no one will take her place. And if you want to stay in this house, you do well to remember that you are a
guest. And you do NOT demand my people for anything. Am I clear?”
“Yes, Your Highness. I am sorry.” I ignore her apology. And goes to open the door and she steps out. I
follow her out, and even though I never do this, I take my key and lock the door. She hurry to leave,

‘Yes your highness’
I am in a bad mood so I decide to go and
let Shadow out for a bit. Running through the forest I think about how much of a hassle it can be, to
be the king. There is no higher rank for our species unless you are the moon goddess. Over the years I
have met many she-wolves that have tried to get into my pants knowing they were in heat, so
they most likely would have gotten pregnant. After the first time it almost happened, I made sure always
to use protection until I met Laura. She never once seemed faced about that I am her king. And is
always worried that other wolves will see her as my Luna and Queen because she says that
she isn’t either of them, but only the she–wolves that I fell in love with.
I would lie if I said that I haven‘t thought about if she someday would let me mark her. I feel more at
ease and calm after she said yes to being with me. And my pack loves her.
“Maybe one day she will truly be ours.‘ I tell Shadow and he hums in agreement.
I watched as Liam left the room. I can only imagine what the problem at the packhouse is, but I guess t
hat it has something to do with the visiting Luna.
grumble a little, I don‘t understand how anyone can be so cold to a small child
and stand there right in front of him calling him a bastard child and saying she
doesn‘t want to take care of her dead mate‘s son. Not that my childhood and growing up were much be
tter, but at least I had a home. I am so happy that Mack stepped up and took the small boy with him unt
il we can find him a good home.
When I had fed and changed the twins, I went downstairs and ate dinner with
Rosa, Mack, and little Kai, Rosa had made a roast with baked potato salad and homemade
dressing. Kai was a fun little sweet boy, and I can see that he already is very comfortable with Mack an
d Mack seems to enjoy the attention he get from him.
When we are done eating, I help clean the table and make sure a plate is made ready for Liam. I decid
e to go take a shower, and after that, I take one of Liam‘s T–shirts on and go to lay down
on the bed. I just lay there watching
