The Divorced Heiress’s Revenge

Chapter 2383

Chapter 2383

Justin's gaze turned even darker.

The tinted windows shielded his expression, but the reporters pressing their faces against the glass irritated him. He pressed his lips together as he adjusted his tie with a deliberate tug; his muscles bulged with the movement. "Mr. Salvador! It's reported that you collapsed in public and were hospitalized for several days. Is there something wrong with your health?"

"If there's no issue, could you address the public to put their minds at ease?"

"The stock price for Salvador Corporation fluctuated significantly when the market opened today. Could it be related to your hospitalization? Would you care to comment?"

The luxury car forced its way through the mob, eventually making its way into the underground parking lot.

"Damn it! Unbelievable!" Ian slammed his fist against the car door in frustration. "Who had the nerve to leak news of your hospitalization to the press?"

"Who else?" Justin's sharp, bloodshot eyes narrowed coldly.

Realization hit Ian like a bucket of ice water. "Grant!"

None of the other board members had the nerve. In high-profile families like theirs, health matters were kept strictly confidential to avoid giving rivals any opportunity to exploit or sabotage them.

The only one with the motive, resources, and something to gain was Grant.Content property of NôvelDra/ma.Org.

"Mr. Salvador, your so-called righteous, saint-like brother has officially shown his true colors!" Ian's voice was full of fury, an angry laugh escaping him. "I knew it! I knew he didn't come back with good intentions. It hasn't even been six months, and he's already losing the mask! Does he seriously think throwing out some vague rumors will shake your position at Salvador Corporation? What a joke!"

"Why are the reporters here though?" Justin's frown deepened, muttering to himself.

"Isn't it obvious?" Ian exploded. "It's to embarrass you! He is stirring up chaos while he hides in the shadows, forcing you, the president, to clean up the mess. It's so damn despicable!"

Still, an unshakable unease gnawed at Justin. Something did not feel right.

After clearing the reporters, the group entered the Salvador Corporation's headquarters.

Justin's tall, commanding presence was undeniable. Every step he took was steady and composed, with no sign of illness or frailty. Following closely behind were Ian and four uniformed bodyguards.

Normally, Justin preferred to keep a low profile with only Ian accompanying him. But today, his grandfather insisted on pulling out all the stops. After all, one had to project strength and authority after coming back from an illness.

"Mr. Salvador!"

Everyone who crossed his path stopped to bow respectfully.

Justin acknowledged them with a slight nod, his dark eyes cold, and his presence so powerful it sent chills through

the air.

As they made their way to the private elevator, a commotion erupted in the lobby. "What's happening over there? Go check it out," Ian ordered one of the bodyguards. The bodyguard walked a few steps before bumping into three men heading their way. "This area is restricted. No unauthorized access is allowed," the bodyguard stated firmly.

"Police." The voice was clear, commanding, and eerily familiar.

Justin, who had remained composed, turned to the source of the voice.

The moment he saw the man before him, his pupils contracted sharply. Standing before him was none other than Ralph, Bella's seventh brother.

"Ralph... Captain Thompson?"
