Chandria POV

I’m here today at a restaurant because I met one of my best friend.

“I heard you’re coming back to the Philippines,” my friend said while eating.

“I need to go back, I need to get my man back.” I said seriously

“The question is will he accept you again? It’s been a year Chan and he’s definitely mad at you.”

“I know he loves me and I know he will accept me again when he finds out my explanation.” I definitely promise

I know Killian loves me and I will do everything so he can forgive me and get back into her life. I love him so much and I can’t allow to lose him forever.

“I hope so, I just hope you don’t come home crying. Knowing Killian is different when he’s angry, you’re the one who said it.”

“I will do everything to win him back. Whatever happens I will take him back.” I said again

We finished eating and we went around the mall, I am happy because we had time to meet. Since my family had a problem with our company, I have only met my friend once in a while because I have been busy. It was good that we got well and got up.

And I will return to the Philippines for Killian, I would have to explain to him everything why I left. I know it’s all my fault because I left him without even letting him know even though our wedding was so close.

I decided too quickly without even letting him know and I knew it was my mistake so I wanted to go home to fix everything.

I love Killian so much and I know that he is still inlove with and I can’t allow someone else to take my place. He’s just mine!

On the other hand, the two happily ate breakfast. Killian teased Hailey a few more times because of what happened to them.

But the young woman refrained from admitting how she really felt so close to the end of this pretense as a couple.

Hailey suddenly felt sad at the thought. She really loved the young man but she knew in herself that she did everything to stop it because she knew it would have no end.

Unbeknownst to the girl, Killian loves her too but like her, she won’t admit it to her because they have an agreement. The young man wanted to finish it first before confessing to her.

“You are in a depth thinking. Is that because of me?” The young man took her attention

“You’re really over confident, it’s too windy.” She smirk that Killian just laughed at

Later, they heard a doorbell ring the door so Hailey signaled that she would be the only one to open it.

Vaugh POV

I’ll just get here to Killian’s house. I haven’t seen this friend of mine for a long time, he seems to be busy with his wife’s life. His secretary said he often goes home in the morning.

I won’t be surprised if she finally be inlove to Hailey, it’s obvious that Hailey is a good person,  kind and beautiful.

I rang the doorbell at their door and later it opened and Hailey’s face appeared on me.

“Oh Vaugh it’s you. Come in.” She said with a smile

I also smiled back at her. “Where’s Killian?” I asked.

“He is inside, we’re still eating.” She replied

I went in and I caught up with Killian who was eating breakfast.

“Yow bro.” I greeted and he just raised an eyebrow at me

“What are you doing here?” he asked

“Is it bad to visit my friend? You’re so busy and your secretary says you’re always early when you come home, is that because of your wife?” I was joking, I even saw Hailey’s blush

“Ah, Vaugh did you eat? Just join us.” She said shyly

“He’s not hungry Ley, he has a lot of money so don’t worry if he will not eat.” Killian said

“Hey, you’re mean to me. I’ll just think you really don’t want me here.” I said.

“And one more thing Premiere has arrived and hw is looking for you. “I added and sat down next to Hailey

“Why? What does that idiot need?” he asked

“I don’t know maybe he just just missed us.” I laughed and turned to Hailey who was eating

“How are you Hailey? Isn’t Killian torturing you ?” I ask

“What’s that question? What do you think of me a bad husband? Psh!” Killian groaned making me laugh

“I’m asking Hailey bro not you. I don’t know if you’re insulting Hai.” I said laughing

“To answer your question Vaugh so far we are okay. He’s not arrogant at all.” Hailey replied

We just continued to eat. I also felt hungry and when I tasted Hailey’s foods I could really say she’s a good cook even though it’s not her job and course.

When we finished eating, Killian and I went straight to his office here at home while Hailey was left in the kitchen.

Here I am now sitting while Killian is sorting through his files.

“What’s your plan? Your agreement with Hailey is coming to an end.” I asked raising his gaze

“I don’t have any plans.” he answered shortly

“Seriously? You know bro I’ve been noticing that your treatment to Hailey is changing.”

“W-what do you mean?” He asked

“I mean, you seem to have developed a feelings towards her. You can’t lie to me, it’s obvious in your actions and in your eyes every time you look at her that you are in love to her. So tell me what’s your plan when the contract ends.” I asked seriously

He smiled at me. “Even after the contract I still won’t release her.”

“Woooo! You mean you’re going to tell her the truth? When are you going to confess?”

“I need to think first. I need to make sure, I mean the contract is coming to an end and I still need to weigh the real feelings I have for her.” He said

It was almost afternoon when our conversation ended. Later there was a knock and it spat out the smiling Hailey.

“Have a snack first, it’s already afternoon.” Hailey said and put down a tray with foods on it.This text is property of Nô/velD/rama.Org.

“You’re really a good cook Hailey, that’s why Killian eats here often.” I said jokingly

“Not really, I just learned that.” She said shyly

We ate snacks together while talking. Killian is really lucky with this woman because she is kind and very caring. I only hope that when the contract ends, Killian will be able to confess his true feelings.
