TAMING THE BEAST IN HIM ( His Red Phoenix )

” After his deal of money with the King of all Dark Genie, we both got married and I gave birth to Axion. But then… Axion wrecked everything for me ” Medusa continued, her eyes turning dark purple and fist tightening in anger.

” The moment the King of all Dark Genie set his eyes on Axion, he fell in love with him and all of sudden altered his mind and decided to make him the next king…

” He shoved me aside to second place and wanted to place my son above me. He wanted to make him the ruler, something that should be rightfully mine! ” She thundered.

” I toiled so hard for hundreds of years to be the queen but he just tossed all my hard work away just because of that useless son of mine! He fucking tried taking what’s mine, mine! ”

By the time Kelsey was done, Phoenix was petrified. She was shocked to the bone if possible to her marrows. She only gaped at Medusa with parted lips.

” When Axion turned 12, I made another stupid mistake by running away with him so I can hide him from the King of all Dark Genie but then he cursed me and I had to waste another 15 years of my life in a coma all because of Axion! ” What Medusa said angered Phoenix and she glared at her.

” Axion has nothing to do with what happened. You procured it upon yourself so deal with it! ” She snapped. Kelsey sent her a knee-wobbling scowl but Phoenix didn’t give a damn. She managed to stand, scowling back at her.

” You ruined Axion’s life because of your stupid greed and quest for power. Because of you, he hated himself for being an ugly beast and at the same a Dark Genie. You almost destroyed him! ”

” And I’m gonna do more, Phoenix! ” Medusa growled, cutting her off.

” I won’t stop until I kill him and use his blood to make myself more powerful than that stupid King of all Dark Genie and take over the throne as the authorized Queen ”

” I am not going to let you lay a hand on my Axion! ” Phoenix snapped. Medusa couldn’t hold back the farce laughter that left her lips.

” Oh really? ” She scoffed with folded arms.

” Seems like you’ve forgotten that I am 10 times stronger and more powerful than a wimp like you ”

” As a Phoenix, your purpose is to protect the people you love and also heal. Apart from that, what else can you do? Hmm… let’s see…” She rubbed the imaginary beard on her jaw.

” Nothing! ” She finally snapped.

” You don’t have the heart to kill because you’re too soft and gullible but… I can without even thinking twice ”

” If protecting my loved ones means killing… then I’d do it without thinking twice ” Phoenix gritted making Medusa grin.

” Set aside the fact that I hate you but… I love your persistency, courage, and adamance. But that isn’t enough to fight a dark power, Phoenix… you need more power to battle against a dark force! ” She pointed out making Phoenix snort.

” How about I show you an example? ” Medusa smirk and seeing her smirk Phoenix frowned deeply knowing she was up to something.

Medusa’s eyes grew darker and dim purple as she stared at the wound on Phoenix’s stomach. Phoenix let out a wince as she felt an abrupt increase of pain in her stomach. She tightened her cover on the wound, glaring at Medusa.

” What are you do… ” She wasn’t through with what she was saying when an excruciating pain drove down her and she yelled out in pain. It felt as though someone thrust a knife into her wound, twisting the knife left and right making her scream in agony, slumping to the floor.

Looking down at the wound, her eyes widened on seeing it was bleeding times three than usual.

” Axion!! ” She yelled as hot tears rolled down her cheeks. Medusa cracked laughter erupted as she started at Phoenix who was screaming in pain, her eyes glimmering in satisfaction.

Her eyes went back to normal and the pain Phoenix was feeling stopped instantly but the wound was still bleeding profusely.

Using her power, Medusa lifted Phoenix’s head to peer dead into her weak and teary eyes.

” This is just a warning, Phoenix. You don’t measure up to me so if I were you… I’d fuck off! ” She spat, letting go of her head.

” Au Revoir, my dear ” She smirked and vanished.

” Axion, please help me… please ” Phoenix pleaded, her blood still oozing. She was already weak since she lost a lot of blood yet the wound kept bleeding and if care isn’t taken, she might bleed to death.

Medusa can be seen with a proud grin on her face, as she strode through a very dark tunnel. The tunnel was so dead silent that one could clearly hear the clasping of her sandals with the ground. As she went further, the tunnel became darker.

But then… a sound came.

It was the sound of chains chittering with metal and the voice of someone grunting.

Medusa finally came to a halt and so did the sound. It turned out she was in a dungeon, an underground prison. She was standing before a cell and glancing inside one could see the figure of a man whose two hands were chained apart to the metal bars on the wall.

He was shirtless and ripped, cuts and blood all over his body. His blue hair was tattered, long, and uncombed. His body was covered in dirt and his head bowed.

Sensing someone outside his cell, he immediately snap his head up and his terrifying, dangerous and dark purple eyes met with that of Kelsey who flashed him a smile. His face wasn’t visible only his eyes were.

” What are you doing here? ” One could see the rage in his eyes as he glared at Medusa who only reached out and held his face, stroking it tenderly. His eyes softened and he looked away.

” How are you doing, my dear? ”

” When are you getting me out of here? ” He asked back instead and that made Medusa chuckle.

” Do you really want to leave this place? ” She asked and he shot her a terrifying scowl.

” I’ve been in here 27 years while that animal has been roaming about, living his free life. Is that seriously a question, Medusa?! ” He flared up.

” Sush ” Medusa hushed him immediately and he looked away.

” Tell me what you want, Corbin? ” She asked in a soft tone. Corbin’s eyes grew dark at her question, turning purple as he breathed out in furry, a thick and dark vein running through his body.

” I want him dead! I want to rip him apart, tear his flesh, and feed on his blood! I want my rightful place as the next King. That position is mine, mine and not his! ” He growled and one could see the envy, rage, and burning hatred in his eyes.

Medusa scoffed, letting go of his face.

” Fine then ”

” Besides, I kept you here to prepare you for this. I will release you… tomorrow unfailingly. I’d set you free so you can carry out your revenge on him and take your rightful throne ” Corbin’s eyes lighted up immediately.

” Really, mom? ”

” Of course. I’d do anything for you, my son…” Kelsey flashed him an obvious pretentious smile…
