TAMING THE BEAST IN HIM ( His Red Phoenix )

Phoenix, on reaching home, saw downstairs already turned upside down with everything broken and destroyed. She could hear the howl and growl from upstairs and she knew for once it was Axion.

She quickly dashed upstairs to Axion’s room. Everything in the room was already destroyed. She looked up and saw Axion, punching the wall fiercely while snarling in rage and pain. His hands were already bleeding badly.

” Axion ” Phoenix called out softly and immediately hugged him from the back. Axion, who was about to send another jab to the wall stopped on feeling her body pressed against his back. Tears rolled down and he withdrew his fist.

” I’m sorry ” Phoenix mumbled in gloom.

” Please stop hurting yourself, please ” She requested and a strand of tears fell from her eyes.

Swears, all Axion wanted to do was to pull her to a bone-crushing hug because he desperately needed it now. But how could he? After everything he did to her? The pain in his heart was coupled with intense guilt.

He released Phoenix’s grip on him and slightly pushed her off before turning to face her.

” Stay away from me, Phoenix ” It came out softly. But Phoenix’s eyes landed on his wounded hand and she gently took it, caressing it with her thumb.

” You’re bleeding? ” She asked in worry. Axion was more than shocked seeing the tears and sincere worry in her eyes. How can she still bother about him despite everything?

Phoenix caressed her hand up to his face, gazing intently into his eyes.

” Let me heal it ” She said but Axion slipped his hand out, pushing her off again.

” Just stay away, Phoenix, please ” He uttered weakly before leaving the room. Phoenix went after him.

” Axion, please wait ” She called as he stormed downstairs before dashing out of the house.

” Axion, don’t go, please ” She mumbled, looking down in sadness.

Axiom walked past his car and off to the street not caring how dark it was. He didn’t have a particular place in mind nor did he care about the wound in his hand. He just wanted to be alone, to digest the painful truth he just found out about.

He couldn’t hold back his tears as Gianna’s words kept ringing in his head. He was still finding it hard to believe and prayed it was only just a dream or maybe a prank. But sadly it wasn’t. It was the fucking agonizing truth. His heart was aching severely.

Then everything and all the words he said to Phoenix came playing in his mind. How he treated her like she was some sort of trash… like she was worthless. All the abusive and insulting words he said to her.

She constantly kept protecting him. She never left his side no matter how many times he kept pushing her away. She was with him even when he hurt her deeply. She never cared. She accepted to be his Phoenix even after he rejected her. She even went as far as losing her virginity to him just to save him.

And what did he do in return?

Nothing!

All he ever did was make her cry, hurt her and insult her.

What type of a human is he? How can he treat his mate like that?

His heart tightened in anguish and he suddenly ran out of breath. It was as if the heavens agreed with the pain and anger in him as it started pouring down heavily.

But he didn’t give a damn. In fact, he loved it as the rain poured on him and drenched him. He deserves it anyway, doesn’t he?

He is a Dark Genie, after all, the devil’s son. He is also a beast, an ugly one. He definitely doesn’t deserve Phoenix. She should just live him to suffer miserably.

Without even realizing it, he was already on a bridge that had a river surrounding it. He stopped. His tears were like floods of water flowing down without any hold back as the rain that poured angrily on him mixed with his tears.

He then sagged to the floor, kneeling. With his head bowed in shame, he tore down in tears.

Phoenix on the other hand was lingering patiently for him at home. She didn’t want to go after him cause she knew he needed some time to himself. But she couldn’t but get worried when hours passed yet he still wasn’t back.

And to worsen the matter, it started raining heavily. She grew out of patience and couldn’t just sit back anymore.

” What if something had happened to him? ” Was the questions bugging her mind. She stood and rushed out to look for him. She didn’t care about the downpour.

But immediately she stepped outside, there she could see Axion standing in the rain, his head curled down. Her heart leaped in happiness. And with the rain pouring angrily on both of them, she slowly walked up to him.

” Axion ” She held his face, tilting it up to look at her. She could see how dry his eyes were due to how much he cried and the smell of alcohol oozing out from his body. He was drunk.

Peering deep into his eyes, Phoenix could feel his anguish and felt as though she was the one in pain. Her heart ached badly making her place one of her hands on Axion’s left chest. Axion gazes back at her, holding her hand which was on his chest.

” It hurts ” He whimpered as tears filled his eyes.

” I know ” Phoenix whispered back.

” And I’m sorry ” She added not able to hold back her tears. She held his hand and healed the wound in it before pulling him into a tight, bone-crushing hug, the rain still pouring on them.

Axion pulled out of the hug almost immediately and pushed her away slightly.

” Why won’t you just stay away from me, Phoenix? Why do still care despite everything? Haven’t I hurt you enough? Why can’t you just… hate me as you should? ”ConTEent bel0ngs to Nôv(e)lD/rama(.)Org .

” I am a monster, Phoenix. Not only am I a beast… but also a Dark Genie. Aren’t you afraid I might kill you one day? Aren’t I too ugly to even look at? ”

Those questions came from deep inside his heart and Phoenix could feel the pain behind them. A tiny and faint smile drew up her lips as she fondles his face and Axion closed his eyes to enjoy the feeling of her soft hand smoothing his face.

” Because I love you, Axion ” Phoenix confessed and that made Axion open his eyes. He was shocked.

” What? ” It came out softly.

” I love you ” Phoenix repeated.

” I really don’t care if you’re a beast or Dark Genie or the Devil’s son, whatever it is. All I know is that I want to stay with you, Axion. As a beast, I want you. As a Dark Genie, I want you. And even as the Devil’s son, I still want you ”

” Even if you keep pushing me away, even if you hurt me repeatedly, it doesn’t matter to me. I’d still be here whenever you need me. Not merely because I’m your Phoenix but because I love you. I love you so much ”

Axion couldn’t deny his heart skipped. Phoenix leaned closer and brushed her lips gently on his and Axion felt wild sensations run down his body. Leaning back, Axion cupped her face,

” Why do you love me? Despite everything I did to you, why…”

” I don’t know Axion and I don’t care. I love you, that’s all that matters ” Phoenix cut him off. A broad smile crept up Axion’s lips. What Phoenix said sounded like a sweet melody to his ear and he suddenly craved to hear her say it again.

He brought his face closer and bussed her lips sweetly making Phoenix close her eyes.

” Say that again, Phoenix ” He whispered amidst the kiss.

” I love you, Axion ”

He then nudged her closer by the waist, crashing his lips on hers. He kissed her gently yet in a demanding manner like he wanted to eat her. Fireworks exploded on Phoenix’s stomach and she wrapped her hands around his neck, returning the kiss.

They both forgot they were still under the rain and the rain seemed to have made their kiss even sweeter and smoother. Their hearts were throbbing b in unison as they devoured each other’s lips.

Axion’s hands moved to Phoenix’s ass and he squeezed them making her quiver, gasping into his mouth. He was already getting hard. He carried her up and she wrapped her legs around his waist as he headed inside, their lips still locked.

Axion carried her up the stairs making sure not to break the kiss, his hand holding her waist firmly. When they got to the room, they finally broke the kiss as Phoenix opened the door and Axion entered.

He placed her down, pulling her close, his eyes peering into hers. Phoenix could see the lust in his eyes. He wanted her now and she too wanted the same.

” Phoenix ” His voice came out huskily, his breath hitting her ear and sending shivers down her.

” Yes ” Her knees were starting to fail her.

” Tell me you love me ” He nibbled on her earlobe trailing down to her wet neck.

” I love you ” She moaned without hesitation. Axion turned her to back him, placing kisses on her wet back before moving it to the nape of her neck. He pulled down her drenched gown and coincidentally, she wasn’t putting on any bra. With her ass pressed against his pants, his d**k became harder making him groan low on the throat.
