Obsessive CEO’s Sinful Wife

Chapter 652

Chapter 652

Something briefly flickered across Jackson’s face when he saw Lucas and Lynette beside him, and a small smile spread across his lips. Jackson put an arm around Serenity’s shoulder and greeted Lucas, “Lucas. Didn’t expect to see you here.”

Lucas shifted his gaze to Jackson. “Jackson. It’s been a while.”

Aunt Theresa had wanted to air her grievance to her daughter, Lynette. However, she froze when she saw the two men greeting each other. She asked, feeling dumbfounded, “Do you know each other?” Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g

Hearing that, Lucas looked at Jackson thoughtfully. “What? They don’t know who you are?”

“I don’t think so,” Jackson replied. “I’m not as high–profile as you, but I’m curious as to why you’re here with…”

Jackson glanced at Lynette, who was standing next to Lucas. “With this woman? They said she knew a powerful man. That must be you, isn’t it?”

Feeling complicated, Lucas shifted his gaze toward Serenity in her wedding dress, and his heart began to ache again. It seemed like everything he had known was just a fantasy of his own. It felt just like a dream.

Lucas truly hoped Serenity was the one he was looking for. Unfortunately, he had followed her past only to find another truth.

“Remember the girl I’ve been looking for? It’s Lynette,” Lucas explained.

Serenity was surprised to hear that. She naturally understood what Lucas meant. Lucas had once mistaken her for the wrong person and even cried in front of her. She knew how much he wanted to

meet the girl he had been looking for.

‘And Lynette… Is she the one he’s been looking for? The little girl from when he was a kid?! Serenity thought that the world was too small.

“Well, congratulations.” Jackson smiled, but he looked at Lynette with obvious contempt. Sure enough, humans could be very greedy. Lynette was clearly not the little girl, but she insisted she was

All Jackson had done was point all evidence to Lynette being the girl Lucas had been looking for. Lynette could have been honest. She could have told Lucas the truth upon their first meeting without giving Lucas the wrong idea. Clearly, Lynette had taken the opportunity, claiming herself as the one who had saved Lucas when he was younger, and that was what Jackson wanted.

Lynette felt uncomfortable with the way Jackson was looking at her. It was as if he knew the truth.

‘No way! This guy doesn’t know anything! What can he tell?!‘ Lynette thought and reassured herself. Then, she asked Lucas,” Lucas, who is he?”

“Meet Jackson Valor,” Lucas introduced plainly

Serenity’s relatives were all stunned to hear Jackson’s name. Even though they lived in a small town, they had heard of the most powerful man in Solaria, Jackson Valor! Lynette was the most surprised to hear this.
