Lost and Found: Return of My Mysterious Fiancee

Chapter 746: Tristan Goes Missing

At this moment, even a second or two of calm was intolerable for Kylie Lambert. Overwhelmed by the surveillance footage, tears streamed down her face as she screamed, "That's it! I've said all I can! Please, please let me go! I haven't even started anything yet! It wasn't me who did anything to your mother, it was all the Langdon family, I had no choice. I was forced!"

Tina sat back down on the sofa, her gaze coolly drifting over Kylie Lambert. Whether she believed her or not, she crossed her legs and remained silent. Jared, after his initial words, hadn't spoken again. His eyes were fixed solely on Tina, playing the role of a devoted husband to perfection, though Kylie Lambert's eyes flickered briefly with resentment-too quick to be seen.

"Madam," Courtney stood beside her, Kylie Lambert's weary voice echoing in her ears. She ignored it, waiting only for Tina's command. After what seemed like ages, Tina finally spoke softly, "Let her go."

The evening breeze was like a knife against Kylie Lambert's face as she sped over the elevated bridge on her Harley, scenes of her earlier confrontation with Tina flashing before her eyes, her heart burning with rage! If it weren't for her mission, if her meridians hadn't been altered to prevent her from using her martial powers-she would have surely twisted Tina's head off!

Kylie Lambert's eyes darkened as she stared ahead, completely unaware of the black car that was closely following her. In an unseen corner, two figures swiftly disappeared into the darkness. They passed the Ashbury toll gate, heading straight for the suburbs!

Cole sent a message while Tina was getting ready for bed: "Tristan is on it, the target is heading to the suburban villa, still en route."

"Keep following, we must find out who is behind Kylie Lambert," Tina replied briefly before turning off her phone.

The next morning, Tina woke up to find Jared already gone. She checked her phone, and a message from Cole immediately popped up: "At exactly 7 AM, Tristan lost contact, suspected danger!" "What happened?"

Without hesitation, Tina got out of bed and called Cole. Cole sounded urgent yet composed, "I was in contact with Tristan all last night, but this morning, neither calls nor messages have been returned. Our people near Kylie Lambert's residence reported she has returned from the suburbs, but there's still no word from Tristan...."

"Tina ordered, "Notify everyone, we must find Tristan, dead or alive!"

She quickly hung up and called Jayden: "Activate the Shadow Lotus Seal, search every corner of Ashbury, including the suburbs, we must find Tristan!"

She couldn't delay any longer. Quickly dressing, Tina grabbed her gear and was ready to leave. Just as she stepped out of the apartment, her phone vibrated. It wasn't Cole or Jayden. The message that came was chilling enough to send a shiver down her spine, "Next time, I will not spare you!"

Followed by a menacing message was a picture of Tristan, tied to a post with a state-of-the-art timed explosive strapped to him, not filled with gunpowder but a green, unknown liquid. The audacious captor even included the address of the villa.

Tina's pupils dilated with fury, "If you dare harm my people, I will make you pay with your life!"

The Farrell family saga continued. Eric finally regained his freedom after that intense interrogation. Yet, he did not stay quiet for long. Messages from the other party were sent daily, seemingly convinced he posed no threat, prompting him to proceed with the next step of the plan.

"Stop right there!"

Early in the morning, as Eric was sneaking out as usual, a delicate voice suddenly startled him. Turning around, he saw Stephanie and breathed a sigh of relief.

"You scared me to death. What are you doing up so early instead of sleeping?"

Stephanie crossed her arms and approached him slowly.

"I should be asking you the same. Have you forgotten how it felt to be locked up by that lunatic Tina? What have you been up to these past days, sneaking around? Didn't you say you wanted to change the leadership of the Farrell family? Why haven't I seen any action?"NôvelDrama.Org owns this text.

Eric replied, "What's the rush? I'm waiting for the right opportunity. When it comes, you'll have your part to play."

Stephanie scoffed, "I don't care what you plan to do, but remember this - my life is still in Tina's hands. If you have any sibling love left, don't drag me down with you, or else, don't expect me to be nice!"

Stephanie, who had grown up with her grandmother, always had a stronger presence than Eric. Just being stared at by her made the naturally timid Eric feel a chill in his heart, and he unconsciously stepped back. His eyes flickered, but he mustered his courage to look directly at Stephanie.

"What are you thinking? How could I possibly harm you? I'm just not willing to be controlled by Tina."

Eric pulled out his phone and opened a photo.

"This was sent to me the other day. It's a photo of Grace Hancock, who, I heard, Tina has locked in a lab for drug trials. I'm scared. One day, it could be us locked up there. So I have to strike precisely, I can't rush this." "Is this Grace Hancock?!"

Stephanie stared at the phone, where a woman lay on the ground looking like a pile of mud. Her disheveled hair made it impossible to recognize her, but the scars on her body were too painful to look at. She covered her mouth, a wave of nausea overwhelming her. Feeling sick, she didn't wait for Eric's reply and rushed into the bathroom.

How terrifying! Could she end up looking like that?

Meanwhile, in an apartment elsewhere, Kylie Lambert returned from the suburbs and collapsed on her sofa. Her eyes, swollen from a sleepless night, throbbed painfully. She dared not sleep, or rather, couldn't. The photo Tina had ordered to be posted online had gone viral that day, attracting harsh and critical comments.

"So much for her innocent image, turns out she's nothing but a seductress."

"I always thought Kylie Lambert's fame was oddly convenient. Now I understand. It's because she wakes up in a different bed every day. No wonder she's popular."

"What a painful boomerang. Just yesterday her fans were attacking our Juliet, and today their idol is gone. Congratulations are in order!"

"Why should Kylie Lambert be compared to Juliet? At least Juliet has real talent. What does Kylie have? Just a history with entertainment moguls?"

Damn them! They all deserved to die! With no video, just a photo, how dare they say such things about her!
