Chapter 793: I'm Not as Fickle as Miss Wagner
Anthony walked in and stood next to Yanis and Bonnie. "Mrs. Lawrence, Miss Cooke, Nydia said
something inappropriate earlier. I brought her here to apologize to you."
Bonnie set down her bowl and looked up at Anthony. "Mr. Austi, I already told you earlier that I can't
handle Miss Wagner's apology, so there's no need for her to apologize."
Pausing for a moment, Bonnie continued, "Besides, Yanis already took matters into her own hands and
confronted Miss Wagner. So let's put this behind us. What do you think, Mr. Austi?"
Anthony nodded. "Yes, Mrs. Lawrence, Yanis certainly took action because of something Nydia said
inappropriately. So Yanis reprimanding her was not out of line. But an apology is still necessary."
After saying that, Anthony looked at Nydia and gave her a signal with his eyes.
Reluctantly, Nydia turned to Bonnie and made a slight bow. "Miss Cooke, I'm sorry for my inappropriate
words earlier. I apologize!"
Bonnie rarely saw Nydia like this. After all, when Nydia was around Mia before, she always carried
herself with an arrogant air, like a proud peacock.
When Bonnie's gaze fell upon Nydia's face, she finally noticed the clear handprint on Nydia's face.
Obviously, that wasn't from Yanis just now.
"Now that Miss Wagner has sincerely apologized, I won't hold it against her."
After saying that, Bonnie stood up and walked up to Nydia. "But I still want to emphasize to Miss
Wagner that Myles may be gone, but he's always in my heart. I'm not as fickle as Miss Wagner."
"You..."
"Miss Cooke is right. It was her inappropriate words earlier, and I'll reprimand her at home."
With the words spoken, if Bonnie continued to be aggressive, it would be a bit excessive.
So Bonnie didn't say anything more.
"I won't disturb your meal any longer," Anthony said, reaching out to pull Nydia and turning to leave the
private room.
After Anthony and the others left, Stella looked at Bonnie and Yanis. "Did I miss something?"
Bonnie sat back down. "It's nothing, just some unpleasant matters."
"Then let's not talk about it. Let's focus on something happy today."
Yanis helped Bonnie pick up a dish. "Everyone has their own freedom of speech, and it's not our place
to interfere. We should just focus on being ourselves."
Bonnie murmured softly, "I know. I truly didn't let those things she said bother me. It's just... suddenly,
someone deliberately reminded me that Myles is gone, and I couldn't snap out of it for a moment."
Yanis reached out and gently held Bonnie's hand. "Let's grab a bite to eat."

respective homes. Yanis first dropped Bonnie off at her small villa before driving back to D-King Castle.
When Yanis returned, Zane wasn't home. Only the housekeeper was there, busy cleaning.
"Auntie, has Zane not come back yet?" Yanis asked.
The housekeeper responded, "Mr. Lawrence received a call and hurriedly went out."
Hearing this, Yanis nodded, changed her shoes at the entrance, and picked up her phone to call Zane.
After several rings, Zane finally answered the phone. "Yanis."
"Auntie said you went out. Is everything alright?" Yanis sat down on the living room couch as she
spoke.
"It's nothing. There's something going on at the company that I need to check on. Albi can't handle it."
Zane reassured her.
Yanis didn't suspect anything. "When will you be back?"
"It might be late. You should go to sleep first," Zane replied softly.
"Alright, finish up your work and come home early." Yanis agreed before bidding him goodnight, and
they hung up.
After Zane ended the call, Yanis got up and went upstairs. She took a shower and went straight to bed.
Feeling tired from the day's events and knowing that tomorrow was the opening ceremony, requiring an
early start, Yanis fell asleep early.
Meanwhile, at No. 1 Hospital, in the emergency room.
Olivia sat in a chair, crying uncontrollably, struggling to catch her breath. She was on the verge of
passing out from crying so much. It had been two to three hours since Martin was rushed inside, and
there had been no good news yet.
When Zane arrived, Olivia was the only one waiting at the entrance.
"How is the situation?" Zane glanced at the doors of the emergency room and asked in a low voice.
Olivia cried even harder upon hearing Zane's words. She reached out and grabbed Zane's clothes,
pleading, "Zane, save him..."
Zane furrowed his brows. "You didn't know he went to the black market?"
Olivia wiped her tears and said, "He didn't tell me anything. Every day, he'd go out and tell me he was
busy with Antonio's matters."
As Zane listened to Olivia, his brows furrowed even more. "Did you call the police?"
Olivia shook her head. "No... I didn't dare. If I reported it, he would definitely get caught."
Zane pinched the bridge of his nose. "He was stabbed, and you're not reporting it to catch the attacker?
Are you afraid he'll get arrested?"
Albi, seeing Zane on the verge of losing control, hurriedly spoke up. "Mr. Lawrence, I've already called
the police. They have gone to the scene to gather evidence."
Upon hearing Albi's words, Zane glanced at his face. "How is it?"
"They have a witness who said Mr. Thompson made the first move. They had a dispute, and that's
when the knife came out," Albi truthfully explained the events.
After listening to Albi, Zane fell silent for a moment. Martin must have had a reason for going to the
black market and causing such a big commotion.
The reason Zane didn't inform Yanis immediately was partly due to his own selfishness. The way
Martin treated Yanis and Olivia in the past made him angry just thinking about it.
Martin had only been stabbed a couple of times, and it wasn't life-threatening. Besides, with the grand
opening of the store tomorrow, Zane didn't want Yanis to be overly burdened, so he came with Albi to
check on things.
At that moment, the door to the operating room opened, and a doctor walked out. "Who is Martin's
family?"
Olivia immediately stood up, "That's me."
"The patient is out of danger now. Once the anesthesia wears off, he will be moved to a hospital room.
Please go through the procedures and make the payment," the doctor informed.
After assuring that Martin was fine, Zane instructed Albi about some matters and prepared to leave.
"Zane, didn't you tell Yanis? Why... why hasn't she come to see him?" Olivia asked.
Upon hearing Olivia's question, Zane stopped and looked at her. "I'll bring her tomorrow."
Olivia wanted to say something else, but Zane interrupted her, "She has something to do tomorrow.
Don't disturb her. Otherwise, you won't get anything you want in the future."
Leaving those words behind, Zane turned and left.
