“I do not hate you” Daciana blurted out before she could stop herself from saying that. It is true that she doesn’t hate the Alpha king, even after putting her through a lot, she can’t bring herself to hate him.

She couldn’t do that for any reason, instead, she have always wanted to be liked by him.

Alpha Connor nodded his head in response knowing that she doesn’t mean it, she just said that because she is scared of what he will do if she tell him to his face that she hates him.

He could understand, Alpha Connor have put so much fear in her to act the way she does.

Just as he was about saying something, Alpha Connor’s room opened and Dolphus walked in. He is most likely the only one who enters into Alpha Connor’s room without knocking on his door.

Dolphus paused at the door after seeing the Alpha king with his Luna in a close space, with him holding her face in his hands.

Dolphus quickly looked down, he didn’t know that they’d be awake by now since he came by earlier to see the duo sleeping peacefully.

Alpha Connor removed his hand from Daciana and threw the duvet on her body, she was still in his shirt from last night and it barely got to her knee.

He cleared his throat and Dolphus looked up.

“I will just leave and come back later” Dolphus said while Alpha Connor shook his head.

“There’s no need” he replied and Dolphus nodded stepping into the room.

“Good afternoon Alpha king” Dolphus greeted and turned to Daciana whose head was bowed.

“Good morning Luna, how do you feel?” He asked. Daciana nodded her head with a small smile not knowing how else to answer him.

Alpha Connor turned to the side to see the time, it was already past twelve. He couldn’t believe that he slept for five hours and into the afternoon which has never happened before or rarely happened.

He stood up from the bed and wore his flip-flops then turned towards Daciana.

“I will ask Lynne to come in and prepare a bath for you and also get us something to eat. Utah will come in soon” he said to her.

Daciana nodded her head in understanding, the last time she had taken her bath was yesterday morning before the incident.

Even if it’s going to hurt, she will have to do that.

“Come with me Dolphus” Alpha Connor said walking out of the room to the sitting room to give Daciana some privacy and also not to make her uncomfortable.

Daciana fell on the bed with her mind foggy as she thought about everything that has happened. Does the Alpha king really meant it when he said he won’t punish her again starting today?

He had referred to her as his mate, does that also means that he is accepting her? If that is the case, what could have made him change his mind about her?

As much as this sweet side of Alpha Connor scare her the most, she will prefer it to having brutal sex with him until she passes out.

At that time, Lynne walked in with three maids behind her. Two were carrying different types of foods in the trays while one was holding a dress in her hand.

“Good morning Luna” they greeted in unison. ‘my Luna’

Those two words echoed in Daciana’s ears, she shook her head to get rid of those thoughts. Alpha Connor is beginning to occupy her thoughts more often, he has always occupied her thoughts.

Daciana smiled at them and bowed her head in respect. Since she can’t stop them from calling her that, she will just go with it.

“How are you feeling Luna?” Lynne asked worriedly.

“I am fine Lynne” Daciana replied. At least, she is here now and not out there in the human world.

Lynne nodded her head while sighing in relief. She signalled the girls to prepare a bath for Daciana after dropping the food and dress.

“I am so glad that you survived it” she said.

“Yes, I am sorry I have caused you to worry Lynne. How’s Kaira?” Daciana asked and Lynne chuckled.

“She was very excited when I told her that you are back Luna, Kaira was so worried about you that she refused to eat through out yesterday. She planned on going to the human world to look for you” Lynne said and chuckled again while Daciana smiled.

Kaira is a good friend and she is glad she met her. She laid down her life to save her and still starved herself after knowing that won’t solved a thing.

Kaira will be the first person she will see when she gets out of here. She had sincerely missed her.

“Your bath is ready Luna” the maids announced. Daciana nodded her head gratefully. She doesn’t know what the Alpha king’s bathroom look like because she wasn’t given the opportunity to use it until today.

Whatever made Alpha Connor change his mind and decided to treat her this way, she wish he can keep on being nice to her. She wish that he won’t go back to being cold like he used to.

“Will you be okay?” Lynne asked on seeing her thighs. The herbs have wear off and the cuts were on display once again.

Daciana smiled sadly, she won’t be okay but she can manage it. She needed to take her bath.

“Yes, don’t worry about me” she said to her.

“Alright Luna, your dress is on the bed. The Alpha king will join you as soon as you are done taking your bath, please call on us if you need anything” Lynne said.

“Thank you”

Daciana stood up from the bed after they left and dragged her feet to the king’s bathroom.

She saw a newly wrapped towel as she take off her dress, she will have to use that when she is done taking her bath.

She entered into the bathtub dreading to have the water touch her body even when she knows that it will be warm.

Alpha Connor’s bathroom is as big as her room in the slave quarters. It looks flashy and fancy.

Closing her eyes and taking a deep breath, fortunately for her, they was a new brush. Almost everything in there was new, so she brushed her teeth, before taking her bath after so many attempts to do so.

She was careful not to hurt her injured parts until she was done. She wrapped the towel around her chest and just like the shirt she was wearing earlier, the towel barely reached her knee.

She opened the bathroom door and came out dripping wet in the towel. Daciana was startled by Alpha Connor’s presence.

She wasn’t expecting him to come in now. His burning gaze eyed her up and down with a blank expression.

She suddenly felt naked under his gaze, Daciana paused at that spot for sometime, confused on what to do.

Alpha Connor stood up from the bed, his manhood jerking up as he move and his eyes darkened with desires. Seeing her half exposed body did something to him.

It made him suddenly crave for her but he need to control himself else, he’d end up hurting her again.

He walked up to her and grabbed her waist then stretched his hand to reach for a small towel on his closet.

He helped her dry her hair with it, when it was dried enough. He moved to cleaning her body. Daciana didn’t move, she felt numb under his touch as she stared at him without moving her eyes from him.

Him being this nice to her feels good, his touch build up a different kind of sensation in her. There is no doubt, she can’t deny the fact that she is attracted to this man.

When his hand reached to take her towel off her body, she came her senses, placing her hand on his to stop him, with her lips trembling in fear.

Alpha Connor chuckled, he made to remove her towel again but she held onto his hand tightly.

“Why? Are you now shy of me? I have seen all of you Daciana so what do you want to hide?” He asked with a raised eyebrow and a smile on his face.

Daciana shook her head in embarrassment, she just needed her privacy to dress up like every other person.

Sensing her discomfort, Alpha Connor stepped back from her. He walked back to the bed and handed the dress to her.

“You can use my closet, our food is getting cold” he said handing the dress to her. Daciana nodded her head and ran inside the closet.

She took in a deep breath while sighing loudly, that was close.
