Sounds of objects being smashed were heard inside the main bedroom as well. Two nurses ran out of the room with their faces completely swollen. They were holding medical supplies with anger and resentment showing on their faces.

Maya quickly came over to comfort them, then gave them each an envelope before sending them away.

"What's going on?"

Harvey seemed confused.

'Did Lilian finally explode...?

'She has a bad temper, but she'd never hit someone like this before...'

"But why would she even do that in the first place?

Harvey was utterly speechless. He naturally knew how Lilian would behave.

After nodding at Maya and signaling her to stay back, Harvey came to the door before slowly pushing it open.

Constant bickering was heard when there was a crack at the door.

"That bastard! That damn bastard!

"He's trying to kill me here!

"He knew I'd look down on his gifts!

"That was why he didn't say a word about it!

"He could've just told me that the pill was priceless!

"Let me tell you something, Mandy! If he doesn't get me another one-no, another ten!

"I'll break his damn legs myself if he shows up again!"

Mandy was utterly speechless.

"Enough, Mother.

"I got word that the old lady's been saved.

"Stop dreaming already."

"Aaagh!"

Lilian was in a craze.

Creak!

A light creak was heard when Harvey entered.
