"Old Man Stone, how can you add insult to the injury at a time like this?"

"Yeah! Where are your business ethics?"

"Last night, all of you arrived with fancy gifts in order for us to propose to you partnerships. And now in just one day, you're retracting them? How despicable!"

Upon hearing that, Yohann Stone and others did not back down and continued to retaliate.

Filled with rage, Senior Zimmer slammed the table and bellowed, "Enough!"

Only until the voices died down did he turn to Yohann Stone. With a sincere look on his face, he asked, "My friends Stone and Brooke, I cannot do anything now that you have decided on this. Given that we've been partners for so many years, could you possibly give us three days to fix this problem?

We'll terminate our contracts if we still can't solve the problem in three days. How about that?"

Yohann Stone and the rest exchanged glances of agreement and nodded. "Alright. We'll give you three days, seeing as how we've been business partners for such a long time. But if it's still to no avail, that land of yours will be ours!"

"You..." Senior Zimmer was livid, so much that his body shook violently. The only reason these men were here was because of that land.

Senior Zimmer's face went as pale as a sheet. With the trouble caused by Zack Zimmer, acquiring the investments back from York Enterprise in three days was nearly impossible.

What choice did he have? If he didn't agree to this, he wouldn't even have three days' time.

The men left with satisfied smiles, absolute villains in Senior Zimmer's eyes.

At that instance Zack Zimmer, standing bashfully in a corner, spoke up. "Grandpa, there's someone who can help us with this."

"Who?" Senior Zimmer asked immediately without even realizing it.

Zack Zimmer's eyes found Mandy Zimmer standing behind the crowd, flashing with an evil glint. It wouldn't be his fault or his responsibility any longer if someone else failed to get the contract after him, right?

"Grandpa, previously didn't Mandy manage to get investments from York Enterprise twice? I think if Mandy is willing to help us this time, the Yorks will most probably agree to collaborate again." Zack said slowly, a fixated look written across his face.

"Mandy?" Senior Zimmer didn't think she would be of much use to them at first. Now that Zack had reminded him, the truth was that she really did bring miracles. Not only once, but twice!

It was at this moment Senior Zimmer saw the light of hope shining within the dark room. His burning gaze rested on Mandy Zimmer. "Mandy, come over here."

Mandy Zimmer frowned at Zack Zimmer, knowing full well he was going to drag her down again. Unfortunately, she couldn't say anything now that Senior Zimmer was the one talking. She stepped forward and replied softly, "Grandpa."

"Mandy, you saw what happened just now. You clearly understood our family's current situation. The Zimmer family is not only about me, but also every one of us here. I admit we treated you unfairly last time. But for the sake of the Zimmers, can you help Grandpa just once more to save us?" Senior Zimmer asked her in earnest.

Everyone's eyes brightened up and turned to her with intense stares.

"Yes! We want to help, but the problem is that we'll get sent out even if we visit York Enterprise. There' s no other way!"

"Mandy, we always know that you're a hidden gem in our family. If you're willing to help, getting thirty million worth of investment funds wouldn't be a problem already!"

The whole family started to shower Mandy with praises, forgetting the way they treated her only a few days ago.

Mandy Zimmer scowled slightly. Although she was a kind-hearted person, she wasn't stupid.

She smiled bitterly and said, "Grandpa, it's not that

I don't want to help out. Putting aside what happened before this, let's talk about how I got the contract last time only for someone to  single-handedly ruin all of my efforts.
