Reyes opens his mouth, probably to tell me how I am their property, and in a last attempt of defiance, I shove a piece of spicy chicken in it

He blinks a few times, shock appearing on his face. Then anger. Alekos and Stefan watched Reyes. They seem to be concerned. Maybe I should not have done that. Without uttering a word, Reyes put the box of sweet pork on the bed, stood, and left the room

I don't understand Reyes. He has no problem feeding me, but when I do the same, he dislikes it

"See if he is alright," Alekos says to Stefan

"And you ask why I don't want her as our bonded," Stefan mutters before going after Reyes
