Demelza picked up the clothes Nathan had going on her as tears rolled down her eyes. She wished he would let her explain but it looked like trying to talk infuriated him more.
She sobbed like a baby as she wore the clothes while Nathan watched her with irritation. Immediately she finished putting on the clothes, she picked up her bag and opened the door of the room to leave.
Immediately she stepped out, Nathan slammed the door out of anger which frightened Demelza. She turned back to look at the door, wiped her eyes and walked to the elevator.
Immediately Demelza left, Nathan turned and started throwing things and breaking things on the floor out of frustration. He had fallen deep for Demelza and the thought of her betraying him that way put him to his soul. The part that hurt him the most was the fact that he didn’t know he had fallen so deep for her.
While he broke things, the workers were all panicking because they feared him whenever he was in that state; usually ended up acting out badly and sometimes drank a lot.

“Do you think he will be fine?” The housekeeper asked the butler, feeling bad for Nathan.
“He will do just fine I believe.” He responded.
“But he seems to really like this one. I mean, she’s the only one he’s brought home since his ex.” The housekeeper reminded the butler.
“I think that is best for us is that we mind our business if we still want our jobs.” The butler cautioned her.
“Duhh…” she replied to him and turned to go back to the kitchen.

Nathan picked up his phone and walked out of the room. He walked to the kitchen and sat down a bit but he didn’t feel settled. He walked to the bar and picked a bottle of vodka. He opened the fridge and picked two cubes of ice and put them in a glass cup. After doing that, he sat down on the stool by the bar and poured himself a drink.
While he drank, he had flashbacks of his moments with Demelza and the one the one before the he found the flash was the one that hurt that the most was the one before he found the flash.
Still seated there, his phone started ringing and he turned to new who the caller was. “It better be good news. “He muttered to himself seeing the caller.” he hissed and picked up the he phone and put it to his ear.
“Yeah?.” He asked with irritation laced on his voice.
“Good evening boss, I didn’t mean to disturb but ther d something important I have to say to you.” The man he had paid money to secretly said to him.
“Okay?” Nathan responded waiting for the man to speak.
“Everything is going according to plan. The judge agreed to everything.” The man told Nathan.
“Wow, good news. Weldone Charles.” Nathan commended him feeling satisfied.
“Thank you so much, sir,” Charles replied.Published by Nôv'elD/rama.Org.
“I’ll send you some money, same account right? ” Nathan asked.

He smiled happily and transferred some money to Charles sipped some alcohol.

Coincidentally, Hampton was seated at his bar having some alcohol when his phone chimed.
He turned to check the notification and was annoyed to see it is a text from Nathan. He opened the text to see what Nathan needed context him about. “You might wanna reconsider your threats, check your mail.”
Hampton hissed loudly from the text and flung his phone on the table but then he remembered Nathan wasn’t the type to play games. He picked up his phone and immediately checked his mail box to see what Nathan had sent.
His eyes will widen from seeing it is a file containing his underground illegal business. He will check read through again tnbe sure it is legit and not just some fake transactions.
After taking his time to through it, he smashed the cup of alcohol on the floor. The glass particles got scattered on the floor and some inflicted bruises on his wife Layla who as walking in that direction at the time.
Layla screamed out in pain but Hampton was to angry care about her. He stood up from where he was seated and walked out of the bar.
The housekeeper rushed to Layla and helped her up from the floor where she was crying in pain. She pulled out a chair for her to sit and rushed to get the first aid kit. Layla continued crying feeling hurt from the injury and also how Hampton treated her like shit. “Stop crying ma’am, you’ll be fine.” The house keeper said to Layla trying to calm her down.
Hampton entered his study trying to think about how Nathan got that file and also how he will be doomed if it goes out to the public. That was an underground business he does for really powerful people, the thought that he wasn’t the only that will get hurt, his family too was in danger but he couldn’t imagine himself begging Nathan to keep his secret. In anger, he started breaking things and scattering things in his study and fell on his chair when he got tired.
He thought hard about the next step of action without being stupid and then he thought to have drink with Nathan and talk about the file. He picked up his phone and sent a text to Nathan and say down paying with his phone as his he felt his heart pounding in anxiety and anger. He could feel his stomach churn form it and but all he had in his mind was an immediate solution to this problem.
“Can we talk after coffee? I’ll meet you at our spot by 10pm.”

Nathan smiled immediately he got the text happy that he got Hampton’s attention. He stood up from where he was sitting and happily walked to the room. He opened his closet and reached for a casual ant and sweatshirt to wear on it.
He sailed in anticipation of his conversation with Hampton in the next few minutes. At that moment, Demelza was the last of his worry at the time because he needed to put Hampton in his place. It would do him a lot of good.
After dressing up, he made his way to his car and whistled before getting in.
