Gwen’s pov

“Mummy, I’m so tired, don’t disturb me.” I said pulling my duvet back on my face.

“C’mon you need to go to the gym.”

True I need to get that captivating body. I lazily sat on my bed. “Thanks, you can leave me now” I faked a nice smile, while I watched my mum leave my room.

I rushed to the door and locked it. Urgh so annoying. I laid back on my bed looking at my white ceiling, why was everything in my life not going well. Dreamt of becoming a rich successful girl and getting a rich husband. But yet it’s Valerie that got one, but I’m older than her yet father couldn’t me for her.

I’m gonna make him mine and only mine alone. I got up from my bed putting on my gym clothes. I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth. I tied my hair into a bun and filled my gym water bottle.

I got my phone and left my room. I ran down the stairs and went to the kitchen to get some fresh fruits.

“Why are you going to the gym this early?” It was 7:30 already

“What time I’m I meant to be in the gym?” I was clearly irritated. L I’ll

“You normally, leave the house around 8”

“Who cares what time I leave the house. Nobody, so why should you be bothered?”

“Don’t talk to Your father like that.” My mother chipped behind me. I grabbed my bottle and left the house.

I started my daily jogging. I just needed to clear everything on my mind. After a long while of jogging I needed to return home.

I got back home freshen up and responded to text messages from different brands offering to cooperate with me. Ii heard a knock on my do. Who is that I stood up to open the door. It was Carmen.

“Come in.” I said pointing into my room.

“Mum keeps on complaining about your attitude what’s wrong with you? Ever since Valerie left you’ve been acting up.”

I silently looked at her, how should I care when obviously I was pained. I took in a deep breath trying my best to stay calm. “Nothing’s wrong with me Carmen.”

“You know you can always talk to me about it.”

“Carmen don’t make me annoyed, just let me be. Nothing is wrong with me.”

“And all of a sudden, you started acting up and losing your family members’ trust, if it’s about va…”

“I told you and I’ll repeat it LET. ME. BE!!”

“Gwen, I don’t care what you tell me. Just let me know what’s wrong with you?”

I sat down beside her “you’re gonna irritate me soon.”

“I prefer irritating you rather than just leaving here without knowing what’s wrong.”

I sat down and looked at her. Maybe she might get me, should I risk this and say my mind to her? I guess she wouldn’t judge me. I’m sure about that.

“Just promise you won’t judge me.” “I promise.”

“Pinky swear?” I bringing out my pinky finger She brought out her “pinky swear.”

We made a pinky promise and I broke it off. “I want Carson so bad.”

Carmen looked at me in shock “are you hearing yourself?”

“I am. I just want Carson so bad, I know I’m not mad I just want Carson.”

“So you want Carson when he clearly said he wanted Valerie. You’re being selfish.”

“I know and I’m not ashamed of it. Who on earth doesn’t want such a soul for themselves?”

“Be happy for your sister, Valerie deserves all the happiness in the world and you’re here being a hater.”

“You can leave now I’m done talking to you.”

“I hope you see how selfish you look saying this.”

She stood up and left the room. I wasn’t being selfish, it’s just people saying I’m being selfish. I just want to be loved and cared for at the same time not by anyone. I want Carson and I’ll do anything to break their affair.

It was almost time for my shoot down town. I needed to look fabulous. And at the same time spend a lot of money to achieve that look. I grabbed my credit card and headed to get a lotte. I walked into Starbucks to get myself one but I changed my mind and decided to get myself boba. I asked for my regular.( that’s a milk tea boba.) I got out and took a cab and get to the salon to fix my hair.

I showed the hairstylist the hair style I wanted, a classic bob. “I need it exactly like this.” I said showing Darwin my hairstyle. “Should It be this low?”

“Ya. Make it that low.

I had my haircut and went to get a dress. I got down from my cab and noticed a G wagon parked outside. I wondered who it was, a celebrity for sure. I adjusted my gown before I entered the mall. I walked through the front door. I saw a tall Gigi in front of me.

“Sir, please excuse me.”

The man stared at me for a while before moving a little to let me pass. I walked towards the counter but no one was there. So I decided to go shopping right away. I got to the sections for elegant dresses, I saw more guards as I approached, I decided to start my hunt for dresses, tried the first one and I didn’t like it so I returned it. Tried the second, it was nice but too loose. I really needed the repetitionist guide. I heard noises from the oth side of the room. I got closer and the voice were getting clearer. Sounded more like someone familiar. The receptionist was talking to someone but I couldn’t see the person’s face.

The lady she was talking to turned around to look at other options, where did I remember her from? She dressed so elegantly and feminine. She turned around and it was Valerie

“Valarie?”

“Gwen!” She said with a bright smile on her face. It felt good seeing her again but I dispise her now.

She ran to hug me while I stood dumbfounded. This would have been me if only father would let me be traded for her.

“How’ve you been.” She said so eager to see me.

“Been good everything’s going alright.”

“I missed you a lot Yunno just tell mum and dad I mum I miss them a lot.”
