Hannah is seen sitting in her office staring at the computer in front of her. She didn’t believe what Grandma Elizabeth had said, that Brandon and Jeff are stepbrothers.

Does that mean they both know each other? No, that cannot be true, she was so sure Elizabeth was trying to piss her off, and come to think of it, Elizabeth has been doing too much digging about her past, it was high time she does something about it, she thought.

Just then a knock came in,

“Come in” she muttered and the door opened revealing Liam.

“Mr. Brandon wants you to meet him outside the company in his car,” Liam said and Hannah raised her eyebrows giving him a questioning look.

“Tch” she clicked her tongue as she remembered she was going to attend a party with Brandon.

“I’ll be there in a jiffy,” Hannah said and Liam nodded in response before leaving. she stood up and packed her things in her bag. She walked out of her office and entered the elevator.

Immediately she walked out of the elevator, she saw two employees gossiping about her. They weren’t just any random employees, she had seen both of them in the board room earlier when Brandon had introduced her.

“I’m so fucking sure, she slept her way to the COO position and seduced him to become his wife,” one of them said.

She walked towards the car, opened the door, and hopped in. Brandon, whose eyes were fixed on his phone, dropped his phone immediately after she entered the car, ignited the engine, and zoomed off without staring at her.

On the other hand, Hannah turned and stared at Brandon whose eyes were fixed on the road, she wondered what was wrong with him, he seemed angry, but she quickly shook off the thoughts, it was none of her concerns.

“I need to change my clothes,” Hannah said and Brandon turned to her, he stared at her for some seconds before looking away.

“You look okay in this dress! It’s just a birthday party and we ain’t gonna spend too much time there,” Brandon said coldly and Hannah scoffed.

“Is there someone you wanna try to impress there? Or is your ex-husband going to be there?” Brandon said and Hannah frowned at him. She wondered what he knew about her ex-husband.

Hannah stared at Brandon angrily without saying a word. It’s better to ignore him, if I had known I would have gone to the party on my own and not in his car, Hannah thought as she looked outside the car window.

The car screeched to a halt in front of a big mansion, Brandon Alighted the car and Hannah did the same while trailing behind him.

There were a lot of men in suits and women too in different kinds of dresses. They were all looking so elegant and rich. This was a party for the rich only, she thought as she scrutinized the whole area.

She stared at the mansion which was so big and well-decorated. It has the almost size of Colby’s Empire.

“Mr. Brandon Colby” She heard a voice call and then she turned only to see an advanced man walking towards Brandon with a smile on his face.

“Mr. Donald” Brandon said as they both shook hands.

“I thought you wouldn’t come,” Donald said and Brandon chuckled,

“I wouldn’t miss your daughter’s birthday party for anything,” Brandon said as he forced himself to smile, it wasn’t his idea to come to this party, he had only come because he wanted Mr. Donald to partner with him. He needed his resources for the project he’s currently building.

Donald smiled and just then he caught a glimpse of Hannah who was standing beside Brandon.

“And who is this beautiful Damsel?” Donald asked and Brandon turned to Hannah. This was the first time since they arrived that he had taken a good look at her, and he must confess, she was looking so beautiful and shiny. He wondered why she said she needed a change of dress. This woman looks good in any dress she puts on.

“This is my wife, Cinderella Mackenzie, and Ella this is Mr. Donald, a friend of mine,” Brandon said and Hannah smiled.

“Hello sir,” Hannah said and Donald Brought his hands forward for a handshake which Hannah wholeheartedly took.

“It’s nice meeting you Cinderella Mackenzie,” Mr. Donald said and kissed her hands.

“Welcome to my party and enjoy,” Donald said as he winked at Hannah who gave him a weird look.

“Come, Brandon, I’ll introduce you to my friends and business partners,” Donald said and Brandon nodded in response and walked away with Donald leaving Hannah all alone.

Hannah sighed softly, staring around… just then she heard her phone vibrate, she brought out her phone from her handbag and saw a message. It was from her mom Arianna.

“How’s your first day as the COO going?” Hannah read and smiled. She had told Arianna that Brandon had offered her the position of the COO and she accepted it buh she didn’t know why, Arianna felt more than happy about it.

“It isn’t going well as thought. A lot of people are gossiping that I slept my way to the COO position when I haven’t even seen the size of Brandon’s dick” she texted and laughed at what she had sent to her mom.

Arianna replied with a laughing emoji.

“They will always talk. It’s better to ignore them, when they get tired, they will stop talking…. So, don’t let what anyone says get to you” Arianna said and Hannah smiled.

“Ok Mom, I’m at a party, I have to go now. I will call you when I get home” Hannah texted and put her phone back in her bag.

She sighed softly and decided to use the restroom but she didn’t know where the restroom was. The house seems so big.

Just then she saw a waitress and then asked her where the restroom was. The waitress directed her to the restroom.

Just as she was about to enter the bathroom, she bumped into someone unexpectedly.

“You asshole, watch where you are going to” A voice yelled and Hannah raised her head to see who it was and to her surprise, she saw………..
