Meanwhile, the girls are seen walking towards Jessica’s room when they saw Brandon walking out of their mommy’s with his phone in his ear. He was on a phone call.

They quickly hid themselves.

“She’s gonna be the new COO. I want you to make sure her office and everything is in place tomorrow, although I told her she could resume anytime” Brandon said as he walked inside his study room.

The kids sighed softly, they were glad they weren’t caught. If there’s one thing they’ve noticed about Brandon is that, whenever he’s on call, he’s always talking about business or his office and the kids find it boring.

They moved away from where they were hiding and walked towards Jessica’s room. They opened the door slightly and walked inside the room. They scrutinized the whole room and noticed no one was inside.

They wondered where she had gone by this time of the night, when she was supposed to be in her room.

“This room smells of alcohol and cigarettes, did you guys think she was drinking and smoking?” Allison asked as they covered their noses.

“Let’s get out of here, before someone catches us” Audrey said and they walked out of the room.

“I’m tasty, let’s go get water in the kitchen and go back to our room then wait for the J4 to arrive and tell us what they saw” Aubrey said and they nodded in response and went downstairs to the kitchen.

On getting to the kitchen they heard strange sounds coming from the kitchen. They wondered who was making that sound.

They walked inside the kitchen and to their surprise they saw Jessica and the Butler smooching and kissing each other.

“Oh my goodness!” The kids muttered in unison and quickly turned around.

“Shit!” Jessica moved away from the butler as she saw the kids. She quickly arranged her clothes and the Butler walked out of the kitchen in a rush.

“What are you guys doing here? Aren’t you guys supposed to be asleep?” Jessica asked as she staggered and the kids turned to her. They stared at her weirdly.

“She’s drunk” Addison said and her sisters hummed. They walked past her without uttering a word, they walked towards the fridge and took a bottle of canned water each, and then walked out of the kitchen, leaving Jessica alone who also staggered back to her room.

On getting to their room, they met their brothers inside. They were already back.

“What took you guys so long?” Jayden asked as his sisters walked in with a bottle of water in their hands.

“Nothing, we didn’t see or hear anything, we only saw Aunt Jessica and the Butler smooching each other, ” Addison said as she opened the can of water and drank from it then walked towards her bed and sat on it.

“Woah!” The boys muttered in unison.

“Then you guys found something ” Jamie said as he laughed and they all stared at him wondering what he was thinking.

“Okay, first of all can you all stop giving me that look?” Jamie asked and they rolled their eyes at him.

“I have got a plan” Jamie said and his siblings hummed.

“You can tell us about it tomorrow, for now we are tired, we need to be in school tomorrow” The girls voiced out as they laid on the bed tiredly. They closed their eyes and drifted to sleep.

“You can tell us about the plan by morning,” Jayden said and Jamie nodded in response. They laid quietly on the bed and drifted to sleep.

It was morning and a brand new day.

Hannah had woken up early and decided to make breakfast for the kids before going to get dressed for work. Today she was going to resume as the new COO of BRC. co.

After finishing cooking, she went upstairs to check on the kids, and to her surprise they were already awake and dressed up for school.

“Good morning sweethearts’ ‘ Hannah muttered with a smile on her face.

“Good morning Mommy,” the kids said in unison and Hannah smiled at them.

“Breakfast is ready, it’s y’all favorite. Go downstairs and the maid will serve you guys. I need to go get ready for work” Hannah said and the kids turned to her at once.

“Work?” they asked in unison and Hannah nodded.

“I’m going to be resuming as the New COO of BRC. CO” Hannah said and the kids opened their eyes in shock.

They knew BRc. CO belongs to Brandon, they wondered how their mommy did it that made Brandon give her such a high position, not that their mommy has worked for him before.

On the other hand, they knew their mommy was a smart woman and she would surely do well as the COO of the company.

“We should celebrate mommy, this is huge” The octuplets said and Hannah smiled at them.

“We would surely celebrate it, but first of all you guys need to go to school early. You all do not want to be late” Hannah said and the kids nodded and went downstairs to eat breakfast, while Hannah went to her room to get dressed.

She hadn’t seen Brandon since he left the room last night, she wondered where he had slept. Didn’t he say they needed to pretend and make it look like they were a real couple, she thought as she got dressed.

But on second thought, she was glad he didn’t sleep in the room, she would have felt so uncomfortable.

Meanwhile, The kids are seen downstairs eating breakfast, while Brandon walks towards them and joined them.

“Good morning Daddy” the octuplets and Brandon hummed as he stared at the kids who were so focused on their food, which seems to be their favorite.

He remembered when he was so little, his mom had prepared his favorite food and when he ate it, he focused all his energy on the food. He didn’t know why but the kids reminded him of his childhood. He quickly shook off the thoughts.

Just then Elizabeth walked towards the dining table and sat on a vacant chair.

“Good morning Grandma” the octuplets said and Elizabeth rolled her eyes at them. She picked up a knife as she cut from the chicken on the table and placed it on her plate.

“Grandma, Good morning” Brandon said and Elizabeth scoffed.

“I thought I was invisible that you couldn’t greet” Elizabeth said as she scooped a spoon filled with spaghetti in her mouth.

Brandon ignored her because he knew she was trying to get on his nerves. They all are in silence, Brandon begins to wonder why Jessica hasn’t come downstairs for breakfast. It was unlike her, Jessica never misses breakfast, she loves food too much.

So, he decided to ask the maid and they told him she was still asleep. The kids stared at each other knowing fully well that she had drunk so much last night, that must be the reason she’s still asleep.

“Brandon, I’ll be resuming my position as the New COO today at BRC” Grandma Elizabeth said as she drank from the glass of water and wiped her lips.

Brandon stared at her surprised. He smiled.

“I don’t think you can work as the COO anymore, you should be resting at your age,” Brandon said and Elizabeth frowned.

“I’m still very strong Brandon…..” Elizabeth paused as she stared at Brandon.

“Don’t tell me you employed a new COO already” Elizabeth said and Brandon sighed softly.

“Yes Grandma, someone has taken over that position already” Brandon said and Elizabeth felt her heart shatter into pieces.

“Who is that bitch you employed as the new COO?” Elizabeth asked as she slammed her hands on the dining table making the octuplets flinch and of course, except Brandon.

Brandon swallowed hard as he stared at her. He was almost lost in her beauty, he had seen lots of beautiful women in his life, but this woman in front of him, there was something about her beauty that made a strange feeling arouse in him.
