Brandon walked out of the house and hopped inside his car.

Just as he was about to ignite his engine, he heard his phone ringing.

It was a call from Liam. He answered the phone call.

“Brandon, when did you leave the office, I have been searching for you,” Liam said, sounding so worried.

“I went out, is anything the problem?” Brandon asked and Liam paused before speaking.

“I think we’ve got a big problem at hand,” Liam said and Brandon became alerted immediately.

“What’s wrong?” Brandon asked

“I just got a call from your grandma,” Liam said and Brandon exhaled deeply.

“Speaking of the devil herself, what does she want?” Brandon asked

“She’s back in Atlanta,” Liam said and Brandon felt his heartbeat increase at once.

“Shit! When did she arrive? I thought she said she wasn’t going to come back till further notice and why didn’t she call me instead of you?” Brandon asked, already getting angry.

“I don’t know, she said she wanted to surprise you. She asked me not to tell you she was in town. She didn’t come alone, she came with your younger sister, Mellisa” Liam said and Brandon rubbed his hands on his forehead.

Two devils decided to come to Atlanta without informing him, he scoffed gently. He knew they were up to something and it was not going to be a good one.

“She would be coming to your mansion tomorrow night, she had asked me to make sure everything was in place before she arrives,” Liam said

“It’s fine, they can come to my mansion, I’ll just try my best to avoid them,” Brandon said tiredly

“Not your mansion, Brandon. I mean your mansion but the one Hannah and the kids are staying in. She wants to stay there” Liam said and Brandon screamed at once.

“What??? Why didn’t you convince her to stay with me?” Brandon yelled

“I tried but you know your grandma, she always goes for what she wants and she must get it,” Liam said and Brandon sighed softly.

“What I’m I going to do? I can’t ask Hannah to suddenly move out…. It took a lot to make her come in with her kids, asking her to move out with her kids would be war, the woman is just so stubborn.

I can’t allow her and grandma to live together, she’s gonna make life hell for her and the kids. Hannah seems to be stubborn, she won’t give in easily, thereby causing war” Brandon said and sighed.

“There’s only one way to solve this…..” Liam said and paused for some seconds before he finally spoke.

“You should move into the mansion tonight and start living with Hannah and the kids, together as a family.

You just have to speak with Hannah, all you guys have to do is act like you love each other. No matter how evil your grandma is, she loves you and wants your happiness. You just have to convince her Hannah and the kids are your happiness” Liam said and Brandon sighed softly.

Liam was right, he needed to put on an act. He cannot afford to let his grandma or sister hurt Hannah or the kids in any way.

He needed to protect them, they were his only hope of finding his mom, and he cannot afford to ruin everything. He needed to find his mom, he thought.

“I’m coming to the office now, we will discuss it when I get there,” Brandon said and ended the call.

He ignited the engine and with that, he zoomed off.

Meanwhile, it was evening and Hannah had gone to pick up her kids from school. On their way home, they kept talking about their new friend David.

“Is this David at your class?” Hannah asked as she drove the car.

“Yes mommy, I think Allison has a crush on him,” Jamie said and Allison frowned.

“That’s not true mommy,” Allison said and they all laughed.

“Mommy, he seems to be so sad, he said his daddy had thrown his mom out of the house. He also said he misses his mom so much” Aubrey said

“I feel for him, he’s in so much pain, ” Audrey said and Hannah felt her heart melt. He didn’t know the little boy, but she felt for him.

She knew what she had passed through when her mom died, the pain she felt, and all. Even to this day, she still feels the pain but she has learned to live with it.

“I told him not to be sad, he’s going to be fine. That we are here for him and if he ever needs someone to talk to, we would be here for him” Addison said and Hannah smiled.

“That’s nice of you,” Hannah said and smiled.

“Mommy, why aren’t we taking the route to our house?” Jayden who noticed Hannah taking a different route asked

“I’m going to the grocery shop, I need to get some things that we don’t have at home, ” Hannah said and the kids nodded in response.

Immediately, Hannah got to the grocery shop, parked her car, and told her children not to leave the car that should be back soon, she just needed to get something and would be back.Content © NôvelDrama.Org.

The kids nodded obediently. Hannah climbed out of the car and walked inside the grocery store.

She picked some stuff and paid for it. Just as she was about to leave, Rhoda, who was in the grocery shop too, caught a glimpse of her and rushed towards Hannah who was already moving towards her car.

“Bastard!” Rhoda yelled as she pulled Hannah’s hair making her groan.

Hannah turned swiftly and to her surprise, she saw Rhoda.

“You!!” Hannah muttered and slapped her on her face for pulling her hair.

“How dare you, slap me? You had the gut to tell Jeff to throw me out of the house, so you can go be with him. You whore, you have no shame at all” Rhoda yelled and pushed Hannah making the things she had gotten from the grocery store fall from her hands.

“You tart!! You whored yourself to Jeff, You stole my husband from me in the past and now you dare attack me. You are the one with no shame. This is the reason your family abandoned you. I regret ever being friends with you” Hannah yelled angrily Rhoda tried hitting her but Hannah was quick to stop her by holding her hands.

She slapped Rhoda twice on the face and suddenly they started fighting.

Hannah pushed Rhoda to the ground, came on top of her, and started punching her so hard. This was an opportunity for her to beat her up for what she did in the past, she hadn’t had the opportunity to pour out the anger she felt, now is the opportunity and she wouldn’t let any of it slide away.

“Mommy!” The kids who had seen her mom and a strange woman fighting rushed out of the car.

Jayden quickly took her mom’s phone which she had left in the car and dialed Brandon’s number immediately Brandon answered the phone call.

“Daddy, mommy is fighting with a strange woman,” Jayden said worriedly

“Where are you guys? I’ll be there in a jiffy” Brandon said and with that, he ended the call.
