Chapter 888
"Theo!" Aurora dashed toward Theodore and cupped his cheeks. "How are you feeling? Does it hurt?"
Aurora inwardly heaved a sigh of relief. When Rosalie called Theodore just now, Aurora was so frightened and worried that they might reconcile on the spot.
She would never allow something like that to happen. Thankfully, Rosalie was just worried about her own husband.
Theodore remained silent as Aurora hugged him. He stared blankly ahead, as if his soul had been sucked out of his body.
Rosalie saw how tightly Aurora was hugging Theodore, and knew with even more certainty that this woman truly loved him.
She approached Sebastian. "Seb, are you alright?"C0ntent © 2024 (N/ô)velDrama.Org.
Sebastian and Theodore were both bruised, but Sebastian looked more seriously injured.
Sebastian had just completed his treatment and couldn't afford to be agitated. Rosalie was worried his brain might worsen with the fight he just had.
"I'm fine." He turned around, and said to the person holding him back, "Let me go."
However, the man was worried Sebastian might get agitated again and didn't dare to let go.
Rosalie said to the men, "Please let go of my husband. I promise he won't do anything again."
Her words made them let go of Sebastian.
Sebastian wiped the blood from the corner of his lips and said guiltily, "I'm sorry for making you worry. I'm fine, it's just superficial wounds."
Rosalie's heart broke upon seeing Sebastian putting up a brave front.
"Will you carry the baby, please?" Rosalie asked.
Sebastian nodded, and took the baby from Rosalie.
She approached Theodore and asked, "Theodore Spencer, why must you always be like this? Why?"
She didn't sound angry. She spoke very calmly, but her voice was drenched with sorrow and disappointment.
"What did you say?"

"Theodore Spencer, Seb and I came all the way here to Melrine but you could still find us and hurt him. Have you long found out that he can't

treatment? Is that why you
deliberately hurt him?"
Theodore stood stunned, staring at Rosalie. Every word of hers pierced his heart like daggers coated with poison.
Aurora couldn't hold her anger back,
and retorted, "What nonsense! Theo
wouldn't do that! He's just accompanying me here at Melrine
for a holiday. We bumped into you twoby pure coincidence. He"
"Is it really a coincidence?" Rosalie said, cutting Aurora off. "Theodore Spencer, do you dare swear you're here just to accompany her on a holiday and bumped into us by coincidence?"
Aurora fell silent. She looked at Theodore and said, "Theo, let's go. Come on."
Yet Theodore stood right where he was, unmoving.
He then said, "Yes, you're right. This isn't a coincidence. I came specifically to find you."
Tears fell down Rosalie's cheeks the moment she heard him. She bit her lip, fighting hard to suppress the pain and sorrow in her heart.
"Why? Why must you do this? You just don't want to see me happy, do you?"
She had set her mind on living her own life and minding her own business. Why did he have to appear before her?
