Andre did not drop Robert’s identification card. He had it with him.

“This would be useful later on whenever you dare step on my toes’ ‘, he said as he left the rest room.

“What took you so long?”, Ariana and Didi asked. They were both done with their meals.

“I had to take a dump”, he lied to them. Vanessa was not buying of that, she felt he just told a lie.

Robert had just walked out the rest room holding his stomach and having a swollen eye. Vanessa saw him and she then became furious. She could not control her emotions.

“COWARD!!”, she yelled at Andre.

She was fuming really hard. Andre saw the look on her face, released a shocking face and then looked back to see the innocent young man groaning in pain. He sent a wicked smile to her.

“What happened?”, Ariana asked.

“She is probably thinking about something”, Andre answered. Vanessa nodded in agreement.

Vanessa’s POV,

I have barely spent a day here and he is already going after innocent guys. I hope he does not kill every man in Italy because I would definitely continue to make a lot more male friends. I am sick of here (the restaurant), he should just drive me down to my prison yard so I can finally have some peace and quiet. He was out with his mother, she had asked him to have a talk with her at the car. I was stuck here with the question asking freak, Didi. She had been busy washing trending videos on the Instagram app. I was happy with that because I wasn’t ready to talk. I stood up to go talk to Robert, he just walked past our table and acted like he did not see me.

“What did he do to you? Please tell me.” , she asked Robert. The young man remained silent and asked her to leave him. He said he was pleading for his life.

“Fine”, she answered. She was already pissed and instantly had the urge to strangle Andre. She continued to walk back to her table.

“Whoa!! “, the people in the restaurant said after the female partner of a guy slapped her man to his cheek really hard.

“What? Why did you do that?”, the man asked his girlfriend.

“You were looking at the girl that just walked past you and you are on a date with me!”, she answered. The man felt embarrassed. The lady stood up and left the restaurant. He followed her immediately.

Selma and Club Nexus were not in Andre’s head. The club might end up going bankrupt because it was already losing a lot of money. Selma has been spending the profit extravagantly. Workers were almost ready to quit if they did not see any changes. Andre knew none of these.

“Who is that Vanessa girl to you?”, Ariana asked her son. They were both outside of the restaurant.

“She is my girlfriend, mom”, he answered.

“I definitely don’t think so. You both actually act like you don’t love or even know each other. Why are you acting weird and nonchalant way”, she asked.

“I sincerely don’t feel happy right now”, she added.

“I am sorry mom. I will talk to her and we will be good. We should head home now”, Andre replied.

“You can get in the car, I’d get the girls”, he added.

When Andre entered the restaurant, he saw Vanessa and Robert giggling and talking. Also, some guy was talking to his sister, Didi.

“You both don’t seem to learn the easy way right?”, Andre said as he walked in on them and pushed Robert away causing a stare from the restaurant customers also attracting the presence of Robert’s boss and some security men. The pair startled as he did that, Robert quietly walked away. While they were talking before Andre came, Vanessa had apologized to him and had Robert give her another one of his identification cards. She had kept it well and there was no sign of it when Andre came.

“I had promised mom I would not cause more trouble. Let’s leave now”, Andre said as he pulled her away and they paved their way through the crowd till they had gotten out of the restaurant. She still managed to wave goodbyes to him(Robert).

Andre was already driving them home. The whole car was silent and only the engines and passing vehicles on the road could be heard.

“What is it that you both pulled out in there?, Ariana asked the fake couple.

“Maybe you should talk and speak to your son about it”, Vanessa answered rudely.

“What!! Did you just speak to me that way?”, Ariana exclaimed.

“Hussy, Whore , don’t you dare speak to my mother that way. I can have your throat ripped out”, Andre said. He just passed a serious warning.

Ariana remained mute and was still caught by surprise. Didi ignored them all and was already texting the guy who talked to her in the restaurant. He was really sweet to talk to.

They got to the house around past seven in the evening. The house was a very big mansion. It had a very large parking lot, a nice garden, a swimming pool, a jacuzzi, gym center and even an outdoor cinema.

“She will be here for a week or less, just till I get our house ready. We are not returning anytime soon”, Andre informed his mother. She was still fuming about what had happened earlier in the car. Vanessa bursted into her room, knelt and pleaded. She really took her time begging Ariana to forgive her. The woman did forgive but gave her a warning.

” I won’t take that from you or anyone else next time”, she said as she hugged her.

About an hour later, Vanessa wanted to get some clothes before she had her shower. She walked down to Didi’s room. She knocked on the door continuously, and there was no answer. Didi had plugged in her airpods, they were so loud they couldn’t hear a thing. Vanessa pushed the door open and ran out immediately after what she had seen.
