Gideon’s smile was repulsive. Addyson half-heartedly resisted, but she couldn’t find a reason to refuse him.

She needed Gideon to take her on the ship despite the danger. Once they disembarked, she wouldn’t bother with this disgusting, foul-smelling man.

“Dear, it’s not a good idea… The ship hasn’t set sail yet. What if someone looks for you? You can’t just run off halfway through, can you? That wouldn’t be enjoyable for you either…”
