You Complete Me novel (Skylar and Coralie)

Chapter 240

Chapter 240

"What did he say when he took her away?"

Skylar came over to ask Harvey.

Skylar didn't expect that Yohan would notice so quickly.

Maybe Yohan had been too placid recently, so they poured all their attention on Hendric's illness and

overlooked him.

"It's the same thing that happened two years ago. Your company's investment was obtained at the

price of Coralie's engagement to Yohan. He wants to take her back now."

That year, Harvey took Skylar to the dam where they saw Yohan crying his heart out for Coralie. They

understood why Yohan came to take Coralie away.

"I want Mom, I want Mom."

Hendric, who was at the side, knew that Coralie had been taken away and he couldn't stop crying.

Xenia couldn't calm Hendric down no matter how hard she tried.

Skylar came over and held Hendric in his arms to comfort him. "I will find Mom very soon. Can you stop

crying, Hendric?"

"Mom was taken away by a bad guy."

Hendric held Skylar with his tiny hands, and his eyes were red from crying.

"I will save Mom."

Hearing Skylar's words, Hendric stopped crying. After he put Hendric in the cot, he continued to think of

a way.

......

Coralie got in Yohan's car. She didn't know where Yohan would take her.

In the car, Yohan had been restraining Coralie. He remarked with irritation, "Corrie, to be honest, I knew

it as soon as you came back. I'd been waiting for you to contact me, but you didn't. At first, you didn't

contact Skylar, so I wasn't in a bad mood, but later, you actually got together with Skylar..."

"No, I didn't intend to contact anyone. It was him who found me."

Coralie explained.

She tried her best to appease Yohan.

"Then do you still remember the investment agreement that year? It clearly stated that you are not

allowed to have any intimate contact with Skylar for three years..."

Yohan put his arm on Coralie's shoulder. It was obvious that he didn't use too much strength, but he

imprisoned Coralie and made her unable to escape.

"Actually, Yohan, you are rich and handsome now. You can be considered a golden bachelor. As for

me, I have divorced twice, and I have a child. I haven't been grooming myself in recent years. I am old

and ugly now. I don't deserve you at all. There should be a better girl for you."

Coralie's words belied the puzzlement in her heart.

Coralie did not understand why Yohan was so fixated on her.

Was it just a man's desire to win?

"The other girls don't deserve me at all." Yohan leaned over and pinched Coralie's chin. He looked at

her with his angular face. "They can't accept the cowardly, inferior, and poor image of me when I was a

child. They don't deserve to have the present me."

"No, Yohan, there are a lot of kind-hearted girls. You just haven't met them."

Yohan's preference had completely fenced off all other women, leaving Coralie alone.

The woman who had been willing to protect Yohan because of her kindness when she was a child.

"I don't need to meet them. I only need to have met you." Yohan was obsessed with Coralie. "Next

week, I'll take you back to my country and introduce you to my parents and my brother."

"They'll never accept me."

Coralie did not expect that Yohan would make this decision. She thought Yohan would only force her to

stay by his side to satisfy his desire for triumph.

However, Coralie didn't expect that Yohan would take her to see his parents.

"They will."

Yohan said with certainty.

The car drove towards the east for more than an hour before it stopped.

"Come on."

Yohan opened the door and yanked Coralie all the way, refusing to let go of her hand, as if he was

afraid that Coralie would run away again.

Coralie had no choice but to yield to Yohan.

There was a large villa in front of them, a newly built property at first glance. The whole villa was giving

off a classic French style. From its appearance, it looked like a white castle in a fairy tale.

"This is..."

"Our home," Yohan answered before she could finish.

He then took Coralie into the villa.

At the door, seven or eight foreign maids were lining up in two rows. When Coralie and Yohan came in,

they bowed and greeted, "Welcome, Young Master, Young Madam."

In fact, Coralie didn't quite understand why Yohan favored foreign servants. His bodyguard, his servant,

and even the driver, they were all from another country.

"From now on, she will be the lady of the house."

Yohan stood at the door and introduced Coralie to the maids.

"I..."

"Why? Are you still trying to refuse me even here?"

Yohan grabbed Coralie's wrist with increased strength, which made her squirm in pain.

"No, I'm just not used to it. I used to live alone, but now there are so many people..."

Coralie gradually realized that Yohan was profoundly sensitive. He was easily angered and could be

triggered by a few words.

"You will get used to it in the future. Whatever he can give you, I can give you as well. I'll never fall Please check at N/ôvel(D)rama.Org.

behind his ability."

Yohan took Coralie to the second floor, followed by a servant.

When the two of them arrived at the door of a room, the servant quickly opened the door. Coralie saw

that it was a large bedroom. There was a built-in changing room in the bedroom, and the wardrobe was

crammed with clothes.

Coralie looked over and found that those clothes were exquisite dresses, not unlike a princess's

wardrobe.

"These clothes are..."

"They’re for you."

"For me? Actually, I'll be fine with just ordinary clothes."

The dresses were particularly delicate and long, hanging down to the ankle. Most of them were tulle

dresses, as if they came straight out from the princess's wardrobes in fairytales.

"Corrie, I remember that when you were a child, you adored this kind of dresses. Over these years, I

asked the tailor to make all kinds of styles of these dresses. I was hoping to give them to you when I

meet you next time."

Yohan looked at her with fondness in his eyes.

However, Coralie was bewildered. Not only her but most girls would have a thing for this kind of

dresses when they were children, but who would really wear these as grown-ups?

Coralie didn't expect that Yohan would still remember the details from when she was a child, and he

even took it seriously.

"Thank you, but it's really not suitable for me to wear these clothes. It's not convenient for me to go

out."

If Coralie put on these clothes, she would be branded as a joke, wouldn't she?

Coralie did not intend to stay here forever. Sooner or later, she would have to run away, or convince

Yohan to let her leave.

"Is that so?" Yohan's expression was indifferent. He turned to the door and said, "Come on, bring in

another gift for Corrie."

After he said that, two bodyguards came in with a beautiful wooden box in their hands.

"What's this?"

As soon as Coralie asked, the bodyguard put the box on the ground, opened it, and took out the things

inside.

At the instant when Coralie saw it clearly, she tried to get rid of Yohan's hand and wanted to escape,

but it was too late. Yohan grasped her wrist as if he knew she was going to run away. "Don't worry,

you'll stay in this house in the future. They will serve you."

Two bodyguards came over and helped Yohan to restrain Coralie.

Yohan bent down and fastened on Coralie, the pair of golden foot shackles that had just been taken out

of the box.
