You Are My Savior (English version)

Rhianna woke up around six in the morning. She immediately went to the kitchen but was stunned when she heard her mother and Leo talking. She smiled, they were starting to feel comfortable with each other. She took a few steps to the kitchen. When she entered, they stopped talking and looked at her.

“You’re awake. Come here, have some coffee first.” her mother offered.

Rhianna smiled and approached the table to brew coffee. Her mother turned around and distracted herself with cooking. When she finished mixing her coffee, she sat in the seat opposite Leo. She couldn’t look at him because she remembered what happened last night. The kiss they shared.

“Agent Jerald said, we can’t go to Head Quarters anymore. The enemy must have known that we were going there.” Leo said. Rhianna looked at him from sipping the coffee. She caught Leo staring at her. She feels like she will melt in his stares. She immediately looked down.

“Where can we hold a meeting, today?” she asked without looking up.

“At Brandon’s house.” he said. She nodded in agreement.

“Let’s eat!” her mother exclaimed and laid the dishes on the table.

“It looks like your cook is delicious, Auntie. I’ll miss it.” Leo commented. He will miss it? Why? Her mother can’t cook here anymore?

“Thanks. Wait! I’ll just call Ylona so we can eat together.” her mother said and went outside to the bedroom.

“Tita and Ylona will be taken to Lerima. They are safer there. It is more dangerous when they are here and I can’t protect you all” said Leo. Maybe he noticed the frown on her forehead. She looked at him. He’s right, it’s hard to protect three people.

“It would be better for them if they’re not here, Leo.” she stated.

Her mother and Ylona were fetched by a van that would take them to Lerima. They will stay there because they are not safe if they are at home. When they got in the van, they waved at her before closing the van door.

They will be together at the perfect time when they catch Don Ysmael, and she will be patiently waiting. Leo and Rhianna went inside the house together.

“Will they be safe, Leo? Won’t Don Ysmael track them down?” she asked when they got inside the house and she sat on the sofa in the living room. Leo sat beside her.

“They’ll be safe Rhianna. Don’t worry about them.” he said. Rhianna looked at him and nodded. Leo was staring into her eyes but she looked down. She feels uncomfortable. He lifted her chin so she could look him straight in the eyes.

“Trust me they’ll be safe.” he said and slowly brought his head closer to Rhianna to kiss her.

When their lips met, she immediately responded to his kiss. His kiss became passionate. He parted for a moment. He pressed our foreheads together.

“We can surpass it, Rhianna, together.” he said. From what he said, Rhianna knew that it would happen. Because of these moments, she believes his words.

At those moments, all Leo could think about was to fulfill everything he told to Rhianna. He kissed her again and she did not protest. She responded to the kiss they made. When their lips parted. Leo stared at Rhianna.

“Leo, what would I do without you.” she said. Leo felt happy with what she said. It’s nice to hear that her life depends on her. He gently touched her cheek.

“I won’t lose you. I’m here until your last fight.” he said and hugged her. Leo is willing to sacrifice everything for Rhianna even if it means his life.

Leo was in the bedroom facing the laptop and browsing when his cellphone rang. She looked at his cellphone and saw Agent Jerald was calling. He answered the call.

“Yes, Agent Jerald?” He asked.

“There’s a drug transaction going on in San Sebado town tomorrow. You need to meet with Brandon today and talk about what you should do. Leo, I’m trusting you with this transaction. Your opponent is tough so be careful.” Agent Jerald said with care in his voice.

“Copy Agent Jerald!” he replied and he turned off the call.

She headed to the kitchen where Rhianna was. She is cooking now. The dish she is cooking smells delicious. She didn’t notice Leo’s approach because her attention was on cooking. Leo hugged her from behind.

“It looks like you’re cooking is delicious.” he commented and kissed her hair.

“Leo.” she said

Leo smiled. He knows that when Rhianna mentions his name, she is affected by his presence. He let go of his hug and peeked at what she was cooking.

Leo turned around and went to the table to sit down. Rhianna approached with a bowl of the dish. He stood up and helped her prepare food.

“Later, I’ll go to Brandon’s house. The group will go to San Sebado. There is a transaction of drug there.” he said while spooning rice.

“All right,” she said as she placed food on the plate. This transaction is too heavy. Leo will not allow Rhianna to be with him in this transaction.

“Rhianna, I’m not allowing you to be with me in the transaction. That’s too dangerous for a beginner like you. If only you could quit the service for your own sake. It’s okay with me.” he said.

She was stunned at what she was doing. She looked up at him. Leo saw the pain in her eyes. This is the only way I can think to protect her better. He can’t lose her. Even if it distress her and it will hurt her, this is the least he can do.

“Okay. You’re in charge of me and I have no right to question you because it’s your decision.” she said and sat down to eat. I love you so I do it for you, Rhianna. So, I want to protect you. That’s what he wants to tell her.
