Chapter 28: What I Hate
Chapter 28: What I Hate
"Ms Jaz, Ma'am Stacy wants to talk to you," Rhian said while he was running towards me. She seemed scared.
"Why? What happened?" I held her hand and tried to calm her. I don't know, but she's very angry. I think one of our workers broke the expensive vavasehe bought yesterday. "She said anxiously. We both hurriedly went there to check what exactly happened. "Look what you've done! Poor people like you can't afford to buy that, and your life isn't enough to pay for that vase. I heard her shout, and all my staff were scared while looking at her and my employees.
I went to the scene, and I saw how she glared at me.
"How could you hire such careless people? Are you really that professional?!" she started shouting at me in front of my staff. I tried to calm myself and look at my employee, who had broken the vase
I can see how afraid he is right now and how he wants to cry. I gritted my teeth and looked at Stacy.
"I apologized for what my staff did. I know he didn't mean to break the vase, I said, but she just smirked and rolled her eyes.
"Oh, common! Don't defend that useless employee of yours. If I were you, I would fire him right away. You can't even afford to buy food, and you have the guts to break that vase. Have you lost your mind?! "She pointed at him with her eyes on fire. I don't know why she still has to hurt someone's feelings and embarrass him In front of everyone. This belongs to NôvelDrama.Org.
Does she have any conscience? She's like Travis' mother. How could they bear to treat others like that? That's too much!
"Don't you dare call my employees Ms. Froster! If you're talking about the price of that vase. I will pay you and even double the price. But embarrassing my staff like that is against my rules!" I firmly said, and I saw how she got angrier because of what I said. If she only knew how much I wanted to grab that hair of hers right now, I'd be dying to do that.
"You are working now with me, and my rules will be my rules! I don't care about your fucking rules! And you, Jasmine, don't talk like you are the boss here. "She pointed at me before she left.
I checked the guy who broke the vase, and he's crying now. I looked at Stacy, who was walking away like she had done nothing.
"I'm sorry about what happened. Don't worry, I will be the one to pay that damn vase of hers. I'm really sorry. Rhain, please accompany him," I said while looking at Stacy, who was glaring at us.
I looked at my staff and could see fear written on their faces. I went In front of them.
"I'm sorry if you have encountered this kind of attitude. Don't worry, I'll talk to her. Just ask me anything or call me if you need something about this project. I'll deal with it. "I assured them and tried to lighten things up.
After that, I went to Stacy, who was now busy drinking her juice while eating and watching my employees work.
"The next time you shout and embarrass my stuff like that, I will make sure you'll pay for your actions" I place the check on the table to pay that Vavase
"Are you threatening me?!" She stood up and walked closer to me, her arms crossed.
I sarcastically chuckled and glared at her. Did she think I would let her do what she wanted from me or from my employee?
"If you feel threatened, I don't care. But I have my words" I walk near her, then distance myself and smile at her.
She was surprised because of my behaviour.
"Let's work peacefully, Ms. Froster. I hate it when my employees are scared while working." I said and left her there.
I went back to them, and they thanked me for standing up for them.
I just hate it when I can see people working so hard while others are embarrassing them in front of everyone.
I hate people like Stacy, who is blinded by her money and doesn't care if she's stepping into someone's life.
My guess is right. She'll show her true colour.
"How is he?" I asked Rhian, even though I knew he was hurt. What Stacy did was too much to take for someone like him.
"He's feeling okay now, Ms. Jaz. I wasn't expecting that Ms. Forster is an evil bitch" she said and covered her mouth as she realized what she said chuckled, and that made her laugh.
"I'm sorry, ma'am," she apologized, but I shook my head.
"What you said is right, more than evil Rhian", I added, and she laughed in a faint voice.
"Thank you, Ms. Jaz. You're really looking after your employees." She said, smiling before leaving and continuing to work with others.
I sighed and Helped one of my staff members fix the chair designs.
I know Stacy is mad right now
because of how I defend my
employee, but I don't care. What she
did wasn't that at all. Yes, she
brought that expensive vase, but that doesn't mean she should shout and underestimate that person.
She's ruthless, and I hated her attitude from the start. I never dreamed of working with her.
I thought I wouldn't be able to meet them here after coming back, but I was wrong.
I look at her, and she's now talking to Travis, who just got here. He seemed to have gone to an important meeting today.
I can even see how she told Travis
about what my employee did and how she acted hurt. I just rolled my eyes because of how pathetic she looked.
My phone rang, and I answered it. It was Diego,
"Jaz, I need you here." I could hear his anxious voice. My heart started to beat so fast.
"What happened?" I hurriedly got all my things.
"It's David. He was in the hospital right now"
