Wicked Daughter Let Me Teach You A Lesson Novel by LaDessa Morgan

Chapter 4

Sofia threw tantrums at me for a few days, still thinking I was the same person who worshipped her.

She tried to act spoiled, hoping I would coax her.

She protested by refusing to eat and slamming doors loudly.

I watched it all and remained indifferent.

These days, I was busy enjoying life, reclaiming the pleasures I lost while taking care of her and juggling work.

Without the need to rush making her breakfast, I could get up early, put on makeup, and go to work looking my best.

After work, I didn’t have to hurry to wash her clothes or help with homework. I could go to the gym and work on my figure that had been neglected for years.

Seeing how relaxed I was, she eventually couldn’t hold out. She pitifully offered me her arm and said, “Someone bullied me.”This text is © NôvelDrama/.Org.

I fouched the wound. She winced in pain, and it didn’t seem fake.

It seemed that without the protection of this “mean mom,” the kids she used to bully were starting to fight back.

Seeing that I was unmoved, Sofia became furious. “You old hag, are you even my mom?” she yelled.

“I got bullied! Did you hear me, or are you deaf?” she screamed.

Lying on the couch, I said firmly, “I’m not your mom.”

Sofia stormed back to her room, slamming the door shut with a loud “bang.”

I could vaguely hear her making a phone call.

She seemed quite agitated, but I couldn’t make out what she was saying.

But just as I expected, the next day, Mila came knocking at my door.
