Wait, She’s a Billionaire

Chapter 1071

Sheena’s once fair and tender skin was severely damaged by the heavy metal handcuffs.

Fortunately, Elliot administered a sedative in time. Otherwise, her hands would have been stripped to the

bone tonight.

Yosef stood by the door, watching the loving scene between the two, and sighed.

Life had its ups and downs, and for Elliot and Sheena, it seemed to be a series of downturns.

Destiny played its cruel game on them.

As Yosef was lost in thought, Elliot asked, “Can you think of any other way to quickly exhaust Nana without using sedatives?”

Yosef sighed and answered, “Elliot, it’d be great if such a wonderful solution existed.”

The light in Elliot’s eyes dimmed slightly at Yosef’s response.

Seeing his sudden loss of enthusiasm, Yosef proposed a solution, ‘For now, the best option would be to

tie Sheena up and lock her in the basement overnight until she exhausts herself.”

Elliot did not even spare a glance at him, dismissing the idea.

Yosef continued contemplating and proposed another solution, “How about renovating the basement and providing some things that can help release her anger but won’t hurt her? At night, you can lock Sheena in

the basement until she calms down, and then you can bring her back to the lab for treatment.

“Elliot, think about it. This might be the best solution so far. It protects both you and Sheena,” Yosef urged.

Elliot pondered it and thought it might be worth a try.

“I’ll discuss it with Nana when she wakes up tomorrow,”

Two hours later, Elliot carried the sleeping Sheena through the winding alleys of the Jenkins estate. NôvelDrama.Org holds text © rights.

Along the way, he weighed Yosef’s suggestion.

The more he thought about it, the more he considered it worth trying.

He quickly brought Sheena back to their room to rest.

Since he had spent the afternoon napping at home, Elliot knew he could not fall asleep. Hence, he

decided to start renovating the basement immediately.

Sheena had no morning since she fell ill, and she would always wake up either at noon or in the afternoon.

Thankfully, the recent IV treatments had relieved much of the fatigue in her body.

Thinking that Sheena should be waking soon, Elliot came in with a bowl of soup.

Sheena half reclined against the headboard, watching him with tired eyes.

It was a familiar script, a familiar scene, and a familiar bowl.

“Honey, It’s mealtime. Today, we have seafood soup,” Elliot sald with a smile, his warm, gentle eyes meeting hers.

Sheene glanced at the soup Elliot was cooling and inexplicably felt nauseous.

“Can we skip the soup? I’m getting tired of it.”

Elliot patiently coaxed her, “Today’s the last day you’ll have soup. I’ll change the menu tomorrow omelets, beef fried rice, and pot roast. How does that sound?”

Sheena licked her lips, feeling a bit hungry at the mention of the new dishes.

With a mysterious grin, Elliot continued, “Be a good girl, Nana, and at least finish half of the soup. Once you’re done, I’ll take you to see a surprise. I’m sure you’ll love it.”

Sheena nodded.

Suddenly, she added, “But before that, there’s one more thing.”

“What is it?”

Leaning in close to his ear, Sheena whispered, “Strip naked so I can check for any injuries.”

“I behaved well last night. I didn’t get hurt.”

Sheena shook her head. “Your word isn’t enough. I need to see for myself to be sure.”
