Dark POV

I went to Starbucks to buy coffee. I’m going to Thunder’s office today because we have something to talk about and he mentioned to me that maybe tomorrow he will find out the truth about the investigation into Jhazzy.

When I got my order I immediately got out and got in my car, but before I could leave I saw Jewel boarding a taxi and next to her was Jhazzy smiling. I don’t know but I feel nervous now.

I took my phone to call Thunder but he didn’t answer so I just started my car and drove to his company. And since it was not far from where I was I got there quickly. I just parked and went straight to the entrance.

I didn’t bother to ask his secretary and I went straight to my friend’s office. When I entered I saw him looking seriously at his laptop and didn’t seem to notice my presence.

“Too busy.” I said and then it just looked at me.

“I’m just reading something, why are you here so early?” he asked.

“Because I finished what I needed to sign at the office so I left early. By the way bro, where is Jewel?” I ask.

He looked at me. “Earlier when I left he was at home, I just don’t know now if she went to the restaurant.”

“I saw her earlier when I passed the coffee shop. She looks like she’s on her way home, but she and Jhazzy seem to be together.” I honestly said point out.

“What? I talked to Jhazzy earlier and she said she was just going round, it’s impossible for her to be with my wife because she didn’t mention that to me.”

“Trust me bro, two of my eyes saw it. Looks like you need to talk to Jewel, I really feel different now.” I said..

I saw that he picked up his phone and looked like he was calling Jewel but it was obvious on her face that his wife was not answering.

“She’s not answering. Shit!” he said.

He wiped his face, soon after he closed his laptop. “I need to go home, I can’t be bothered until I know if that woman said something to my wife,” he said.

“I’ll come with you.” I said and he nodded.

Thunder drives fast so sometimes I can hardly reach him, I just hope I’m wrong. I suspect Jhazzy hasn’t told Jewel anything yet because it’s a big problem by chance.

When we arrived at their house, Thunder quickly got out of his car so I just followed him and went inside. He called Jewel’s name several times but no one answered so even I helped him find it. He went upstairs to see if his wife was in their room.

I could see the frustration on his face as it came down.

“Is she in the room?” I ask.

He shook his head and just sat on the sofa while bowing.

“Bro what happened?” I asked again.

“She’s gone, she left me.” it’s almost a hoarse utterance.

“W-what?” I could hardly believe what he said.

“I didn’t see Jewel in the room, only this ring and the letter was there. She knew everything Dark.”

I don’t know what to say, I wish I had just followed Jewel earlier when I saw her in case I stopped her from leaving.

Thunder POV

When Dark told me that he had seen Jewel and Jhazzy I was even more nervous since my wife didn’t answer my calls, so I hurried home. I’d rather be sure but I was just depressed when I didn’t get home.

I only saw a letter and a ring lying on the mini table of our room.

Thunder,

Maybe by the time you read this I’m already left. I already know the truth thatI you have a child with another woman, I just can’t quite imagine that you could keep this thing from me. It hurts knowing that my husband had an illegitimate child but what hurts more is when you didn’t tell it to me and choose to keep it.

I want to fight for the family we have but right now I don’t know how to do it because I’m in so much pain. I love you, I love you so much that it hurts like hell. I hope you just choose to tell it to me for the very time so that I don’t look like a fool in front of you, I feel like you and Jhazzy played me, I don’t know that the two of you had a relationship in the past or if she is one of your fling, I’m not a selfish person and I will let you to have an illegitimate child because I know that the child is a blessing and not part of the mistake of his parents.

We have been through so many challenges since then and I thought we were going to have a normal and happy family, but it looks like one lie will ruin it. You said there was no secret but what did you do? How many times have I asked you if there is a problem or something you want to say because I have long noticed that you are anxious. I’m your wife so I feel that.

At first I couldn’t figure out what was the reason why you were angry to Jhazzy and why you didn’t want me to be close or friend to her and now I already  know the answer I didn’t get from you.

I left not because I gave up , I left because I was hurt. I can’t face you and even more I can’t fool my son that I’m okay, we’re okay in front of him. I need space, I need peace of mind. I don’t know when I’ll be okay, when the pain will heal. I hope you take care of Storm and don’t leave him alone. Even if you have a child with someone else, I hope you will still love our child and stand up for your child with someone else.

Take care of yourself. I love you so much but it hurts. Goodbye!

I stand up and put the letter and ring in my pocket. I’m gonna face  the woman who ruined us.

“Where are you going?” Dark asked.

“I’m just going to that woman! I will show her who Thunder Alcantara he’s messing with.” I seriously said

“Bro calm down first, I suggest you not to do it now because she’s definitely with his child. It will affect the child if he sees that you two are fighting.” Dark waved at me.

“And what do you want me to do, huh? Just let that woman ruin my family?” I angrily said.

“All I’m saying is you need to calm down first, don’t let yourself do something bad. Just wait  first maybe Jewel will come home too.”

I just blew my hair out of the extreme frustration I feel. I need Jewel in my life!
