Monique POV

I’m in a hurry driving to Jewel’s house now because my guess is different now because I found out that Marga escaped from rehab so I know that Jewel is the first one she will go to. I also called her parents to let them know what happened.

I’m still wondering where Cain is because I passed by his office earlier but he’s not there yet so I’m even more nervous.

Flashback …

When I got to Cain’s office I went straight to his secretary, because I wanted to talk to him and let him know that Marga had escaped, because he wasn’t answering my calls.

“Excuse me, is Cain there?” I asked

“Oh, ma’am Monique, you’re here, Sir isn’t here. He hasn’t come yet but he called earlier and said he might be late cause he’ll just pass to Sir Thunder’s house.”

“Ah that’s all right thank you,” I said and quickly left

I quickly left Cain’s office. I also tried several times to call Thunder and Jewel but even one of them didn’t answer.

Margaux POV

Now is the day of my revenge and will make sure it will end all here, I will not allow you to be happy for as long as I live. I needed to do this before my parents knew I had run away. I love them both but I won’t stop until I get justice for Daven.

I’m here in front of Jewel’s house and waiting for Thunder to leave because I know he will come into the office now and I can do the thing I’ve been hoping for a long time is that Jewel will die and I will kill Monique also. These worthless creatures need to die.

Later a smile plastered on my lips when I saw Thunder’s car come out and it looked like he was going to work now.

I got out of my car when suddenly someone came and I recognized that it was Cain, I was lucky and destiny was on my side, two of my purposes are here now.

I waited until they had talked and after a minute I saw Cain turn around and walk back in his car, that’s when I approached Jewel and pointed a gun at her head.

Jewel POV

When Thunder left, I immediately turned around to enter the house because I wanted to cook for my son because he was coming home late from vacation with his grandparents. Suddenly someone blew a horn outside and when I looked at it I knew who it was and I recognized him immediately.

I walked out the gate again and met Cain.

“Why did you pass by?” I askedContent rights belong to NôvelDrama.Org.

“Hi Jew, is Thunder there? I need something from him,” he shook his head.

“Oh he just left, didn’t you meet him?”

“No, I turned around.”

“Just call him or just go to his office.”

Cain immediately said goodbye and got into his car, Jewel was about to turn around when suddenly someone pulled her and when she saw who it was she got nervous.

“M-marga, how …,”

“Surprised bitch? I told you that it won’t all end last time.” she shouted as she pointed the gun she was holding at Jewel.

Cain saw what had happened so he quickly got out of his car.

“What is this Margaux? Let her go!” He said

“Don’t make a move to come over here if you don’t want me to shoot your friend here!” Marga shouted to him.

Jewel started to cry because of the tightness of Marga’s grip on her neck.

Cain was about to speak again when suddenly another car came and spat on Monique who hurriedly got out of the car.

“Marga! What are you doing? Are you crazy? Did you know that the employees in the rehab are looking for you because you ran away .” Monique said

“I don’t care what you will say, you’re a traitor! After all the things I have done you’ll just leave me hanging and alone, you bitch!” Marga shouted

“Stop this Marg, there’s still time for you to change. I haven’t left you since then, you know that but you’re not doing it right anymore. You are so blinded by your anger.” Monique said

“You are saying that because you’re happy, you’ve forgotten what happened to my brother! While I’m still suffering from losing him, you two are the reason why Daven disappeared from my life, why he died! Ever since you came into her life Monique I’ve been thrown out and added to this woman. “She insisted and brought the gun even closer to Jewel’s head

They feel so nervous now because of the situation, Cain secretly calls Thunder but he doesn’t answer. Maybe he’s still driving.

Monique slowly walked closer to her friend. “Don’t come any closer!” Margaux shouted

“M-marga, please this is not right. There are people who love you, they’re still there, aunt and uncle, don’t waste your life just for revenge. Think of Daven, your brother loves you so much and he will not be happy seeing you like this.” Monique pleaded

“Noooooo! If he loved me he wouldn’t leave me, but he’s gone!” Marga said stiffly

“There’s a lot you can do Marg, you can live happily with your parents. You’re the only one who has left them. Stop this thing, let go of Jewel.” Monique said and came even closer to Marga

But she was stopped in her tracks when she noticed that Margaux pointed the gun at Cain and just as she pulled it, she quickly ran to the young man and hugged him at the same time as the gun fired.

Jewel screamed at what she witnessed and Cain was very shocked as he hugged Monique who was hit.

Cain could hardly believe that Monique still chose to save him.

“What a great drama indeed! You worked too hard to save the man who is pushing you away and hurting you many times. Pathetic woman indeed.” Marga said

“Stop this Marga! Let go of me!” Jewel’s shouted

“Shut up if you don’t want to die early you bitch!” And then she pulled Jewel into the car.

While Cain was holding Monique.

“W-why did you do that?” He asked

“Because I love you and I will always choose to save you,” she said with a smile, she noticed the car crashing so she forced herself to get up from the young man’s grip.

“What are you doing? I’ll take you to the hospital!”

Monique shook her head. “I’m okay, I can still endure the pain on my shoulders. I need to follow Marga and you need to call Thunder. I am gonna call. I know where she will take Jewel.”

“B-but …,”

“Please Cain,  just follow what I’m telling you. At least here I can save Jewel.”

Cain could do anything but to follow what the woman said and quickly called Thunder, while Monique got in her car and followed where Margaux was going.
