Unwanted Wife – English

To the extreme frustration that Jewel felt when she first left their house, she thought of going to a bar. She was angry with her parents because she thought they would understand her. Before she left their house, she wanted to call Calleigh to accompany her when she suddenly remembered that her best friend was two months pregnant. She also didn’t want to disturb her friend Cain because she knew he was with Monique, she didn’t want to ruin the moments of the two. Cain has done too much for her and her son and she wants Cain to be happy and focus on what he has now.

So she decided to go to the bar. She ordered tequila many times. “One glass of tequila again.” she said to the bartender, here she is sitting at the bar counter

After one minute her order arrived. She noticed someone sitting in the chair next to her but she didn’t pay attention to it. “Hi gorgeous. Are you alone?” the guy asked her

She just ignored it and continued drinking.

“Hey, I’m asking you.” the guy said

She immediately started to tell him. “Did you see someone with me? So why asking the obvious.” She said

The man next to him just laughed. ” I’m just asking, just chill okay? You know it’s sad to drink alone.” he stated

“Why do you care? I’ll drink whenever I want, and so if I drink alone.” Jewel objected

Later she felt dizzy but she still did not stop drinking. She ordered a few more times, at first the man next to her tried to stop her but Jewel just glared at him.

After she drank her last order she stood up and walked onto the dance floor. Almost everyone she passes looks at her, who wouldn’t? She is a goddess! When she reached the center of the dance floor she started dancing, while the people around her came back to their senses and continued dancing again.

She just dances and dances as if she doesn’t care about those people around her. Many men also approached her to dance. As she continued to swing a strong force pulled her away from the dance floor.

She angrily threw away the hand of whoever was already holding her. “Let me go! Why are you pulling me, huh? What’s your problem?” she shouted angrily.

“Are you out of your mind? Do you still know what you’re doing huh? The men around you almost want you but you just don’t seem to care! Are you for real?” the man shouted back to her

“Can you mind your own business! Don’t mess with me, it’s my life. So leave me alone! I don’t know you.” she said, her sight went blurb now that’s why she can’t clearly see the face of who she was talking to.

“You’ve changed a lot Jewel.” the man said

Jewel can’t quite figure out who it is because maybe she’s drunk. She just turned her back on the man when she suddenly got out of balance, fortunately the man moved quickly and caught her.

The man quickly picked her up and took her out of the bar. The girl would have complained but she couldn’t do it because she was so drunk that she gradually closed her eyes while she was carrying a load of a man she didn’t know.C0pyright © 2024 Nôv)(elDrama.Org.

When they got out of the bar the man put her in his car and quickly drove away from the area.

The next morning Jewel woke up with a severe headache, but she was surprised to look across the room and her eyes widened realizing it wasn’t her room. She had in mind that this is not their house, which means she didn’t come home last night.

She quickly searched for her small bag and found it  on the bed side table, she quickly picked it up and searched for her phone to call her parents so that they would not worry about her, she called her parents number for how many times but she didn’t get any answer so she just thought of sending a message to them.

Jewel almost hit her head because of what happened, she was so drunk that she didn’t realize that she had another roommate and she went to another condo. She stood up to tour the room to find out if the owner was still here, she heard a splash of water coming from the comfort room and it looked like whoever was with her was taking a bath.

She came out of the room and she was walking carefully so she couldn’t make any noise. She noticed the frame on the table where the sofa was, out of curiosity she came over there to see who was in the frame. Her eyes almost popped out when she saw who was in the picture and then she realized who this condo belonged to.

‘T -thunder’ – she almost stuttered

She hurried back to the room to get her belongings, she entered it carefully and when she was sure that the young man was still taking a bath, she immediately went in and took her bag.

She did a lot of running just to get out of that unit. With the dynamic number of men she can be with at the bar, she doesn’t think that the man she hates will be with her.

She doesn’t want to see Thunder, but it looks like destiny is really playing tricks on her because last night she’s with the man that she doesn’t want to see even in her dreams.

When Jewel got out of the building, she immediately took a taxi. She wanted to get further away from that place because she felt like she was choking. She was very grateful that the young man was taking a bath when she woke up because she did not know how to deal with it, she knew in herself that she was not ready to see Thunder.

‘It looks like my decision to go back to her in the Philippines was wrong’ – she whispered in her mind.
