Unexpectedly Married to a Billionaire (Lorraine and Logan)

Chapter 156

Chapter 156

Lorraine was someone who could gain weight easily. But she could easily lose all the weight she had gained as she would often work in the orchards all day,

So, in the eyes of others, she was also someone who had a fast metabolism.

Everytime Sonia had returned from one of her workout sessions, she would hold onto Lorraine and say that she wished they could exchange bodies.

That way, Sonia would be able to eat as much as she wanted.

Lorraine would always find it amusing.

“Lorraine, do you also enjoy good food? That’s great. We should meet up sometimes to try all sorts of food and delicacies that the world has to offer.”

Veronica looked ecstatic over the fact that she had finally found some who shared her enthusiasm about food.

Lorraine laughed, “We can go on a food hunt together once I’m less busy with my work.”

Since the two of them were food enthusiasts, they immediately began talking about food.

Although it was Lorraine’s first time meeting Logan’s female cousins, she really liked them.

Jenny was the eldest out of the three women. In Lorraine’s eyes, Jenny was like a calm, mature, and independent woman. She also seemed like a capable woman. No wonder she was able to become one of the managers of a big company.

Veronica was someone who loved food and wasn’t picky. Hence, they had a lot of topics in common to talk about.

Cheryl claimed to be a picky eater, but she was also young and energetic. Her sweet mouth allowed her to get along with Lorraine quickly.

Lorraine could also feel the respect the three women had for her.

It seems like her husband did have a high position within his family.

Logan had told her that he had a few siblings and a number of cousins, but he was the eldest in his generation.

It was a testament to Logan’s character seeing how all of his capable and talented cousins held him in such high regard. It was to the point that their respect had extended over to her as well.

Luke quickly returned with several waiters. One of them carried another table in and served all of the food Finnegan had ordered after setting the table up.

Soon, the two tables were filled with food.

Finnegan had ordered a variety of expensive dishes. It was enough to satisfy Cheryl.

Just as everyone was enjoying the meal, the sound of someone knocking echoed throughout the private room.

Then, the door was pushed open, and Logan could be seen standing by the door.

His clothes were covered in dust and soot, while he looked like he had gotten a sunburn. But in truth, he had rubbed some dirt and soot on his face to make his skin look darker

than normal.

After all, he was currently pretending to be a construction worker. He couldn’t appear in the restaurant looking all neat and tidy.

He was also wearing those hard hats that could be seen in construction sites, and the hat was also covered in dirt.

The sound of something dropping echoed throughout the room.

Cheryl was the youngest out of the three women. She also had the least amount of self–control.

Hence, she was so shocked to see her proud and almighty cousin in such a state that her spoon immediately fell to the ground.

Even Veronica had paused from eating to stare at Logan.

Jenny was the calmest out of the three as she knew some inside information.

“Am I late?”

Logan calmly glanced at Cheryl before entering the room.

Cheryl quickly picked up her cutlery and asked for a new one. Then, she said, “I was just shocked that the door had suddenly opened.”

Jenny and Veronica glanced at her but did not say a word.

Lorraine’s attention had been fixed on Logan, so she did not notice Cheryl’s previous expression.

“Dad!” the two kids said simultaneously. They were ecstatic as they quickly slid down their chairs and rushed toward Logan. Ccontent © exclusive by Nô/vel(D)ra/ma.Org.
