"Mandy." Charles tugged at Mandy's sleeve and shot her a look.
Mandy pouted. She said, "I'm just stating the truth. I will definitely not believe that she's Vincent's girlfriend! Unless..."
"Unless what?"
"Unless they kiss in front of me. Then, I'll believe you."All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.
Kelly's hand trembled as she held the glass. She immediately glanced at Vincent.
Vincent was holding his phone and sitting there comfortably. But his attention was clearly not on this table. Tilting his head, he seemed to be looking somewhere.
From his angle, he could see Tiffany's table. She was sitting there quietly, all alone. Although she was in a lively restaurant, she appeared isolated. Even from the back, she looked so lonely that it was heartbreaking.
Suddenly, his view was blocked as Kelly shifted. "Vincent...
Kelly watched him expectantly. There was even a hint of excitement in her eyes.
After all, she had never dared to imagine kissing Vincent before. Although she claimed that she was the one who had slept with him, Vincent hadn't touched her at all in the past few days.
She was looking forward to actually sleeping with him. But she couldn't rush things, or it might make him suspicious of her. Mandy's request was practically a God-sent opportunity for her. Vincent frowned. He looked at Mandy and said, "Whether or not you want to believe it, it's a fact."
Mandy was happy. "It's not a fact if you don't dare to prove it. If you're actually a couple, why would you avoid doing something as basic as kissing? Vincent, you're giving yourself away." Vincent stopped talking.
She was not wrong. If they were a real couple, it was impossible for him to feel hesitant.
But deep down, staring at Kelly's face made him feel somewhat repulsed. He wondered what had come over him that night when he had pressed her down and kissed her so passionately. Perhaps it was just a drunken mistake. If he had been sober, he would certainly not have done something so crazy when he had faced Kelly. With that thought in mind, Vincent felt a tinge of regret. After Tiffany had waited for a while, Teresa and Eric arrived.
Right after that, Eric passed Tiffany the menu. "Tiff, order whatever you like. I'll treat you to dinner tonight." Tiffany didn't hold back. She flipped open the menu and ordered a few dishes. Listening to her choices, Teresa knew that they were all her favorite dishes. She then took the menu and ordered two of Tiffany's favorite dishes.
Displeased, Eric instantly glared at her. "I said I'm treating Tiff to dinner tonight. You should let her order. Why are you adding more dishes?"
But the orders were already placed. Eric could only complain instead of canceling the order.
When most of the food had arrived, Eric initiated the conversation. Tiff, you seemed to be in a ruchi

last time I saw you. I didn't get to ask you more questions. Are v
working at Lewis Group now?"
Tiffany knew that Eric had done his research if he was asking her about it. There was no point in lying to him. She nodded and said, "Yeah."
"Which department are you in?" Eric continued asking "You were with Mr. Zander last time. That means you must be holding quite a special position in Lewis Group, right?"
Gripping her utensils, Tiffany said flatly, "I'm just an intern assistant."
"Although you're just an intern, your boss was willing to take you along for business meetings. That means he values you a lot! Tiff, many people dream of having your job but can't get it. You better seize your opportunity."
