Under the Heiress' Facade

Chapter 493

"Doesn't S and Vulcan have a rivalry going on? How can one person play multiple roles?"

"Is that purse of yours some kind of Pandora's box? Are there more? Did you grab the wrong one again?"

"Why don't you dump them all out at once? Surprise us even more!"

The crowd buzzed with excitement.

Silas was stunned, and the 120 seconds had long since passed. The claw machine hadn't grabbed a single thing.

Roland stood beside the claw machine, shocked.

Silas couldn't possibly hold a candle to the first and second-ranked on the Global Hacker List!

While they were still in shock, Silas' computer was already hacked. The S emblem appeared in the top right corner of the screen, and the code on his USB flash drive, along with his computer's firewall, was ruined!

Next, the computer blue-screened, rendering it useless.

The entire process took only a minute! He hadn't even seen Hera move, and the battle was over! Was her speed even humanly possible?

Silas began to question his life. He couldn't believe he offended such a prominent figure!

Mabel had been through a lot and wasn't fazed by the situation. She had no idea who Vulcan or S was, though she did know Raven since everyone was searching for her tonight. What did any of that have to do with her, though? All she cared about was the Atkinses' reputation!

She urged, "Silas, what are you still standing around? Hurry up and do something..."

Before she could finish, Silas suddenly fell out of his chair and crawled toward Hera.

"I'm sorry! I didn't know who I was dealing with! Please let me off the hook!" he begged.

"Why are you apologizing? The match isn't over yet!" Mabel scolded him and rushed forward to pull him up.

"Exactly! There's still more to come. I won't accept your apology yet!" Hera smiled mockingly.

"That's right! You have to apologize all over again once the match is over!" Gino straightened up, forgetting all about his back pain.

James felt vindicated for his daughter and took two more coins from a waiter. He handed them to Gino. "Go!"

The crowd fell silent. Was there even a point in continuing the match when the outcome was so obvious?

Mabel swallowed hard while Roland blocked the coin slot, refusing to det Gino close as if stopping him from using the machine was their dast hope of not losing.

Gideon huffed. "If you don't want to continue the match, you can always admit defeat and apologize."

Mabel's anger flared. "Who said we've lost? The match isn't over yet, so we haven't lost!"

"The outcome is clear! There's no point in continuing. Just admit defeat and apologize. Don't waste everyone's time!"

"Exactly! Nobody wants to watch the match. Stop hogging the machine and get lost! Don't keep us from catching Raven!" "Admit defeat and apologize!"

The crowd roared, demanding an apology from Mabel.

Mabel was known for her steadfast attitude and wasn't easily intimated. She stood her ground even with so many people demanding an apology. Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.

Just then, the event organizer's representative, Theo, finally arrived.

Mabel felt a glimmer of hope when she saw him. The Atkinses was the largest electronics manufacturer and manufactured XS Corporation's products. Surely, Theo would take their side...
