Chapter 201 Make Up for Her Mistake
Chapter 201 Make Up for Her Mistake
Kara couldn't understand. This man could wear the tie by himself, but he asked her, who was a clumsy
woman, to help.
Her help would not only waste his precious time but also made him angry. Wasn't he asking for
trouble?
"James, teach me the last time."
Kara was so agitated that she pulled off his tie and almost strangled him.
James said nothing.
He just took a deep breath and strangely became more patient. So he held her hand and taught her
gradually.
Since she couldn't understand, he would teach her more times.
Anyway, she must tie a necktie for him today.
After finishing this hard work, Kara jumped up in surprise and hugged him to ask for praise.
"James, I did it. I'm so smart!" Kara said, looking at his necktie.
"James, the necktie makes you more handsome. It is my contribution."
James felt speechless.
He stood in front of the mirror and looked at the scrawled necktie she tied. He had no choice and didn't
bother to blow her confidence.
When they went downstairs, Libby quickly prepared breakfast. Then Libby noticed that James' necktie
looked strange. She thought maybe he has ignored it, so she kindly reminded him.
"Mr. James, do you need to tidy up your tie again?"
Usually, James dressed meticulously.
But today his tie is loose, a little sloppy, and not serious enough.
"Never mind. My wife helped me tie it." James touched his tie with a little pride.
Libby didn't say anything.
People in love would have difficulty thinking straight.
Libby looked sympathetically at James and then went into the kitchen.
Kara became unhappy and understood that Libby despised her tie skills.
"Is it ugly?"
She stared at James' necktie. No matter how she looked at it, she thought it was perfect.
"Is it ugly?"
When they arrived at the studio, Kara couldn't help asking again.
After James got out of the car and heard her question, he stroked her head and comforted her calmly.
"Good girl, it is more beautiful than you."
Kara was speechless with anger.
Then she couldn't help pulling his tie and trying to strangle him.
They walked into the studio together. Kara went to ask Jeffrey if he knew where Donald was.
Jeffrey frowned, looked at her strangely, and pointed upstairs.
Kara thanked him and went upstairs with James.
She called Donald, but he didn't answer. So she had to come here to find him.
Since she had made a mistake, whether she could correct it or not, she must apologize to him first.
So they came to Donald's independent studio on the second floor.
There were several rooms, one was Master Larry's studio, one was Donald's, and then was her little
studio.
They were about to knock when Master Larry came out of his studio.
Seeing them, Master Larry frowned slightly and asked Kara seriously,
"What do you want to do?"
"Master Larry, I know I was wrong and want to apologize to Donald."
"Apology is unnecessary, just don't bother him these days. He likes to stay in the studio when he's in a
bad mood." Master Larry seemed to be experienced in this situation.
Kara looked at James in embarrassment and didn't know what to do.
James pondered for a few seconds and asked Master Larry, "Kara feels very sorry. How can we help
her make up for her mistake?"
His wife was emotional and sensitive. She was always anxious and at a loss because she felt guilty
about Donald.
He brought her to solve the problem because he didn't want her to always think about another man.
Master Larry shook his head helplessly. This feeling was the most hurtful. Other than Donald healing
himself, no one could help him.
Just as Kara was in a dilemma, Donald suddenly opened the door and appeared haggard.
"Are you looking for me?" His voice was hoarse. Obviously, he didn't sleep last night.
"Donald, are you alright?"
Kara saw that he was a little despondent and his body stained with paint.
"I'm fine," Donald replied impatiently, looking up at Kara.
He had pieced Nicole's work together, but he had tried countless times last night and still could not
draw her smiling face.
He could only think that Nicole would be hurt. She would cry because of pain.
Nicole was the most afraid of pain. Every time she had an injection, she would hide in his arms and
hold him in tears.
James stood sullenly aside in front of Carla.
"Donald, let's talk."
Donald came back to his senses and perceived James' hostility. So he put on a casual look, leaned
against the wall, and raised his eyebrows at James.
"Talk about what?"
"It's about the Hack's and the girl."
Donald realized that the girl he said was the one he missed all alone. Therefore, he immediately stood
up straight and looked at James coldly.
"What do you mean?"
"I've asked someone to investigate the death of that girl. There are many strange things. Don't you
want to know?"
James did not understand artists' rich emotions, but he was efficient. Since he promised to help Kara
solve the problem, he would find out the root of the problem.
Donald was sad about the girl. Kara didn't know the truth and comforted Donald just out of kindness.
But no one expected that she failed, which made Donald even sadder. James was also sorry about it.
Donald was shocked by his words and also had some hope in his heart.
He stepped back and motioned James into the studio.
Kara tried to follow James in, but he stopped her.
"Don't worry. I will solve this problem." Published by Nôv'elD/rama.Org.
"But..."
"No problem, trust me." James had a tough attitude. Kara frowned and could only wait outside
obediently.
In the studio, Donald asked anxiously.
"James, what do you mean?"
At that time, when he returned to the Hack's, he only saw Nicole's body. He had many questions in his
mind. But after several years of investigation, he only got the same answer.
She was killed by a kidnapper and thrown into the sea.
However, James told him that there was something fishy about Nicole's death. This undoubtedly gave
him hope at a time of despair.
"The survey results have been sent to your email."
"Who did you find to investigate?" Donald squinted at him.
He used all the power of the Hack's and asked many friends for help, but there was no clue at all. Why
could James find out the truth?
"It's not something you should care about," James replied indifferently.
Of course, James had his power and contacts. Donald didn't find any clues at that time, perhaps
because someone deliberately covered it up.
Donald took out his phone, opened his mailbox, and found the email from James.
"Why are you helping me?"
James was a businessman. Donald considered James must have some intention, so James would
spend resources to help him.
James turned to look at the door and thought of the woman outside.
He smiled, "My wife is simple. She wants to comfort you, but she didn't think carefully, which has made
you more uncomfortable. So I'll help her make up for her mistakes."
Donald stared at him in shock. He never thought that James would lower his attitude because of a
woman.
And when he mentioned Kara, his handsome face showed tenderness. It was obvious that the man
loved his wife very much.
