Yvette scoffed silently when she heard Daphne accusing her like that. She figured the latter might as well say she had accused Yvette over and over again.
Daphne's hand was covered in blood. After Xavier led her into the ambulance, they left together. Before they left, Daphne shot Yvette a satisfied look. It was as if she was gloating that Xavier had chosen her over Yvette.

Xavier coldly called David Wagner, a famous director, in front of her and got her the lead role in a TV show. "As long as I'm around, you'll never lose your fame. So, there's no need for you to use any dirty tricks."
At that moment, Daphne finally realized that Xavier had already seen through her. She looked afraid and no longer dared to ask him to marry her anymore.
Previously, things had gotten heated up online because she had plagiarized a song. However, it hadn't mattered much because she'd had Xavier supporting her.
