Troublemaker Boy

Chapter 9: 8

Chapter 9: 8

"Farrell, Farrell!" Sherly exclaimed happily as she tugged at her fiancé's arm. "Look, that dress is so

pretty!"

Farrel turned, and his eyes caught a white wedding dress that Sherly pointed at. His eyebrows raised

one, he said pretty?

"What for?" asked Farrell.

"Which one?" Sherly asked back.

Farrel sighed. "That dress, what for?"

"Ohh," Sherly nodded her head. "Of course for our marriage, what else?"

Farrel raised an eyebrow. "Who said I would marry you?"

Sherly's face turned grim at once. "You ... don't want to marry me?"

The man shook his head steadily. "Not."

"Alright!" Sherly stomped her foot, the woman let go of Farrell's warm embrace, then walked away. He's

sulking.

As for Farrel, the man chuckled with amusement. He really likes to tease a Sherly Williams, because

the way she sulks is different. When sulking, the woman will remain silent like a statue until she gets

what she wants. Not to mention, as long as she was sulking, Sherly would pursed her lips. Cute.

Without Sherly knowing, Farrel sneaked into the shop. And the man bought the dress Sherly wanted,

this is how Farrel treats the woman, special.

Farrel came out of the shop empty-handed, he had told the courier to deliver the dress directly to

Sherly when they arrived at the hotel.

Farrel approached Sherly who was sitting in front of a restaurant, with her typical sulking style, Sherly

ignored Farrel's arrival just like that.

"What are you sitting here alone for?" asked Farrell. "You know, you look like homeless."

The woman was still the same, as silent as a statue. Ignoring Farrel's taunts regarding him being

homeless.

"Yes, sulk as you like." quipped Farrell. "I do not care."

"You evil!" Sherly shed her tears. "You are a bad, wicked man!"

"Is it true?" asked Farrell dryly. "Okay." he continued, indifferently.

The man walked away, leaving the still crying Sherly in her place. In fact, Farrell wasn't that bad. He

didn't really leave, the proof was he was still watching Sherly from behind their parapet.

"What are you doing?"

"Peeping." replied Farrell.

"Really, peeping who?"

"My future wife."

"The crying woman?"

Farrel nodded.

"Ish, you don't match."

Farrel nodded again. "I think so." then, the man turned his head down. "Dave?"

"Yes?" Dave said, staring at Farrell with his round eyes.

"Since when were you here?"

"Since I've been standing here," Dave replied as he looked at Farrell with his round eyes. "What are

you doing yourself?"

"Don't you already know the answer?" asked Farrell. "Why do you like hanging around so much alone,

anyway?"

"I'm with Mother." Dave said, pointing to a fast food restaurant behind him.

Farrel followed the direction pointed by Dave, then nodded understandingly. "You're having lunch,

aren't you?"

Dave shook his head. "Not."

"Then?"

"Mother works there." he replied, shrugging his shoulders.

"Oh," Farrell nodded his head again. "Your mother is a servant?"

"Hih, it's delicious." Dave shook his head. "The restaurant belongs to Father, Mother is watching the

employees there."

"That means, your mother is not working." said Farrell. "He's just watching."

"No," Dave shook his head disapprovingly. "He works. Mother also gets paid every month, Father gave

him."

Farrel chuckled. "It's not wage, it's monthly money."

"Monthly money?" Dave repeated, staring confusedly at Farrell. This belongs to NôvelDrama.Org.

"Look," Farrel crouched down so that he was level with Dave's height. "The monthly money, the money

that the husband gives to his wife. How do I explain it,"

"I understand. But, Mom and Dad are not married." said Dave. "So they are not husband and wife."

"They are not married? Then, are you three in the same house?" asked Farrel who became interested

in the boy's story.

"Of course! Mother said, a family must live together."

"Oh, I see?" asked Farrell.

Dave nodded. "But, you rarely come home. In the movies I watch, you are supposed to sleep with you,

but you sleep with me instead."

"Your mother and father had a fight?" asked Farrel curiously.

"Don't know," Dave shrugged his shoulders. "But I've heard them fight once. Dad said you should die,

but you survived because of you."

"Then?"

"Then, don't know. I fell asleep afterwards." continued Dave.

"How old are you?" asked Farrel in surprise. "I'm not sure you're really five years old."

"Just ask yourself to Mother."

"Where is your mom?"

Dave sighed. "I told you earlier, Mother was watching her employees there." he pointed back to the

restaurant behind.

Farrel chuckled. "All right, all right. I'm sorry."

"Yes, I want to go back to Mother. Please continue the program 'me peekin 'that. "Dave then jogged,

towards the restaurant he had pointed to earlier.

Farrel stared at Dave's back, then he reached into his coat pocket. The man took out his cell phone,

dialed someone's number and pressed the flat object to his ear.

A dial tone was heard, then someone picked up the phone.

"Sam, I need you."
