Chapter 41
Chapter 41
Chapter 41 Sean sat alone in the bathtub as the corners of his lips curled at the thought of Molly’s bashful look. He removed his clothes and laid himself down in the bathtub. His limbs were outstretched as the warm water wrapped around him while he enjoyed some shuteye.
Even after some time, he could still feel the odd sensation on his collarbone. He could not help but touch it as he felt tingles around that area.
The next morning, Molly received a call from Grandpa Dave right after she was done eating breakfast with her triplets. “Molly, I want to move in with you,” said Grandpa Dave on the phone. Molly did not mind. In fact, she welcomed the idea very much. “Sure! I’ll pick you up, Grandpa.
“Never mind that! You don’t have to come here and endure hell. I’ll pack my things and get the driver to send them over.” Grandpa Dave’s deep voice echoed from the other end of the phone.
Grandpa Dave was persistent, so Molly did not argue any further. ‘This is a good idea too. After all, I haven’t gotten a car yet. I might as well wait for grandpa at home and prepare a room for him while I’m at it,’ she thought as she gave her address to Grandpa Dave. She then smiled and continued, “Alright then. Don’t pack too many things, Grandpa. I’ve already gotten everything prepared for you.” “Sure,” said Grandpa Dave. After ending their call, Molly started to clean Grandpa Dave’s room. She organized everything as best as she could.
But Grandpa Dave still had not arrived even after she was done with the preparation. Molly frowned as she thought, ‘Did something happen?’ The May Residence– Grandpa Dave had already packed his luggage and was about to leave the house. Walter and Lara were confused when they saw him. ‘Is the old man going out for a vacation? A vacation sounds great! That way, he couldn’t transfer his shares anymore!’ “Dad, you’re going out with luggage early in the morning. Are you going on a holiday?” Walter let out a rare smile and asked.
Grandpa Dave took a glance at him. “Molly prepared a room for me, and I’m going to move in with her. That way, you people can’t bug me anymore!”
‘What?!’ Everyone was shocked when Grandpa Dave said that. Lara immediately voiced out, “Dad! You’re joking, right? That d*mn… girl couldn’t even take care of herself. How could she take care of you?”
“How did she even get a place? You didn’t give it to her, did you, Dad?” Walter asked with a
frown.
Grandpa Dave scoffed. “If my granddaughter couldn’t take care of me, are you going to do so? Look at you now, siding with an outsider. You even plan to give my shares to this outsider. Over my dead body!”
While he was speaking, he glared at Diana and continued, “Since you’ve already acknowledged your own family, stop coming back to my family. After all, you’ve already gotten what you wanted!”
Grandpa Dave was sharp, and his eyes seemed like they could see through anyone. He was obviously talking about the two percent of shares that Diana had gotten from Walter and Lara.
Diana’s face went pale when she heard Grandpa Dave. She then lowered her head as if she had been wronged.
“Grandpa Dave, Diana just misses you and my parents. That’s why she’s been coming back to visit you. She respects you, so you shouldn’t talk about her like that. After all, she’s been my sister for years.” Nathan frowned as he defended Diana. This material belongs to NôvelDrama.Org.
Grandpa Dave immediately scowled, “Don’t you forget that your real sister is Molly. She’s
related to you by blood! You’re all heartless, and it’s fine if you don’t take her in. I’ll go and live with my granddaughter myself!” He then turned to leave right after he was done speaking.
Everyone immediately stood up to stop him. Diana even threw herself at Grandpa Dave pretentiously and grabbed his arm, saying, “Grandpa, it’s all my fault. Don’t leave. This is your home. If it makes you feel better, I’ll leave!”
“Don’t touch me!” Grandpa Dave looked disgusted as he swung Diana’s hand away. But while he did that, he lost balance and fell hard onto the ground. Suddenly, he could not stand back up and was looking like he was in immense pain. He had hurt his back.
