Chapter 313 An Uninvited Woman at the Front Door
Chapter 313 An Uninvited Woman at the Front Door
"Cut the bullshit and get the hell out of my house! Even if you are really pregnant with Aron's child, I
advise you to go and get rid of it. I will cover the expenses, " said Lulu, as she shoved the woman out
of the house.
"What's going on, Lulu?" Martha asked, walking toward the door.
'Crap! What am I going to do if Martha sees this woman?' Lulu thought to herself. After giving a long,
hard look at the woman outside, Lulu attempted to shut the door, but it was too late. Martha had been
standing behind her for a while. She had seen the woman and had heard every word of their
conversation.
Stepping forward, Martha stopped Lulu, opened the door, and turned to face the woman. "Judy, aren't
you Aron's secretary? What a surprise to see you here."
Finally getting the attention she had been seeking, Judy deliberately stood straight to show off her big,
swollen belly. "Yes, I am, and I am also here to tell you that I am pregnant with your husband's child."
Instantly, an earsplitting sound of a slap followed.
"Ouch!" A shrill howl of pain broke the peace of the house.
Passing her child to the servant, Angela quickly walked out of the dining room. At the front door, she
saw that a woman, with her hand holding her face, was glaring fiercely at Lulu.
"People are really evil these days. A home-wrecker going to her lover's house and making a scene in
broad daylight? There really is no limit to how shameless you allow yourself to be! Guards, throw this
woman out of my house. Right now!" Lulu ordered, signalling two nearby bodyguards to come forward.
"Calm down, Lulu. What's going on?" Angela reached for Lulu and asked gently. The woman standing
before them was apparently pregnant. Things could easily go wrong now that Lulu was in such an
aggressive mood. Angela didn't want anything bad to happen.
"A random woman coming out of nowhere came to our house and said that she is pregnant with Aron's
child. How hilarious! Like anyone would buy it!" replied Lulu with scorn. She was determined to take
initiative to destroy the confidence of the woman on the porch because she knew that such person
would attack viciously if she showed any signs of weakness.
Angela was shocked by the news. She looked at the pregnant woman, who seemed hurt and innocent,
and thought to herself, 'Aron and Martha seemed to be a couple in love, but how come...'
Lulu turned to Martha and grabbed her by the hand. Then, she said, "Martha, you must not get upset
about this. I trust that my brother is not that kind of person. We have no idea of who this woman is, nor
the father of her baby. I will ask her to leave right now!"
... A few seconds passed before Martha could respond to Lulu's words. When she realized that Lulu
was about to grab Judy, she stopped her.
"Lulu, please go back inside with Angela. I want to have a word with Judy, alone."
Lulu wanted to stay, but Angela knew that it wasn't what Martha had wanted, so she took Lulu by the
hand and dragged her to the living room, leaving Martha and Judy alone on the porch.
Before they entered the living room, they heard another loud slap coming from the direction of the door.
Hurriedly, they turned and headed back.
The slap was from Judy. She wanted to get back at the humiliation she had gotten from Lulu, so she
took it all out on Martha.
Angela was infuriated. She couldn't believe that she almost fell for the innocence of the woman
pretended just now. "How dare you come to our house and hurt my sister-in-law!"
As she was saying this, Lulu lurched forward and slapped the woman back. "Who the hell do you think
you are? Didn't your parents tell you to have respect for other people? Here are some manners you
should learn!"
The sudden chaos brought Martha back to reality. She gathered her thoughts and pulled Lulu back.
"Hey, Lulu, calm down."
Lulu stepped back, brushing her hands, as if she had just touched something disgusting.
The slaps were taking their toll. Judy's cheeks were turning red and swollen. Seeing her teary eyes,
anyone who hadn't witnessed the scene a few minutes ago would have felt sorry for her. Unfortunately,
all the three women present knew that she had deserved the slaps. Seeing that her tears weren't
working, Judy suddenly lowered her body and sat on the floor. Hands covering her belly, she started
howling, "Ouch, my stomach hurts!"
At first, Martha, Angela and Lulu were surprised by her movement. But soon, they realized that she
was just faking it. It was too obvious for anyone to fall for it.
Neither of the three budged. After a while, Lulu got tired of Judy's dramatic show. She crouched and
tried to take Judy's pulse to see if she was really okay.
Just as she had expected, Judy resisted and yelled, "Back off! Somebody help! Martha is trying to kill
me!"
The rest of them were left dumbfounded.
Even though Angela was strongly annoyed by this crazy woman on the porch, she couldn't help but
notice a flicker of guilt in Judy's eyes. She herself had been pregnant before. The more she looked at
Judy's belly, the more suspicious she became.
Taking a few steps forward, she swiftly yanked Judy's shirt up a little. Caught unexpectedly, Judy let out
a scream and quickly pulled down her top. As much as she wanted to cover it, all of the three women in
front of her saw that there was a stuffed sack tied around her waist. She was only pretending to be
pregnant!
"Perfect! I haven't gotten the chance to practice taekwondo lately. Since you have volunteered yourself
so actively, I will see to it that you don't get disappointed!" Angela said, as she warmed up her wrists.
Judy was terrified by the threat and flinched backward instantly. "What are you doing? I am warning
you. Aron loves me. If you dare lay a finger on me, he won't let you get away with it!"
"Hahaha..." Angela and Lulu were amused by her words and burst out into wild laugher. Next to them,
Martha's heart sank. She couldn't force a smile.
She knew that even though the pregnancy was faked, Judy could still be in a relationship with Aron…
When Aron got home, he saw that Angela and Lulu were pinning Judy on the ground and throwing their
fists at her. Martha was standing aside, motionless. "Angela, Lulu." Without much enthusiasm, Aron
called out to stop the beating.
At the sight of Aron coming home, Judy screamed even louder for help, Which successfully diverted
Angela and Lulu's attention to Aron. With one finger pointing at Judy's black-and-blue face, Lulu said to
Aron, "This woman said that she is pregnant with your child, while in reality she is not. She has come
here to start fights and to sabotage our family. Don't you think she should be punished? Aron, you
should go inside and let us deal with this lying bitch. We are not done with her yet!"
Angela nodded in agreement. "Yes, Lulu is right. I've always despised home-wreckers! If she chooses
to be one, then she should be prepared for harsh punishment that follows."
Angela felt especially indignant about the whole mistress thing because she had gone through similar
things. Back then, she was too easy on Nita and Rosa, and she had regretted it every single day since.
Now, she felt as if she was given a second chance to do what she should have done to Rosa and Nita.
Ignoring their remarks, Aron looked at Martha again. She hadn't moved an inch since he came back.
Her eyes were filled with indifference, as if what was happening couldn't bother her any less.
Irritated by her coldness, Aron said in a stern voice, "What is this? A group of women wrestling on the
ground? Do you know that, as an elder sister, you should know better? How could you let this
happen?"
Martha was shocked by his accusation. She looked up at Aron and saw the anger in his eyes. 'Is he
feeling hurt because his lover got beaten up?' she wondered.
Angela was also taken aback by Aron's words. She released Judy and got up from the ground. "Aron,
what's wrong with you? You can't blame Martha for not stopping us! She did try to, but she wasn't able
to!"
Aron was too frustrated to think clearly. He didn't quite know how to describe his feelings, but the sight
of Martha remaining so calm even after knowing about Judy had upset him.
"Wasn't able to stop you? Maybe she didn't want to stop you at all!" Aron blurted out.
'Now it's all my fault? Judy came all the way here to pick a fight, and he didn't say a word. I stood
aside, and I am the one to blame?' A surge of sorrow ran through Martha as she thought to herself, 'It
seems true that he doesn't love me, Just as Judy had said before. I gave him a daughter, but so what?
I don't mean anything to him.
He will never fall in love with me just because of a child...'
As her heart went cold, Martha broke into a sarcastic smile. "That's right. It's all my fault! It's my fault
that Judy came all the way here to start a fight. It's also my fault that I am still married to you, which
causes the problem that Judy couldn't be your wife. Am I right?"
Aron looked into Martha's eyes as she said this until he couldn't anymore.
He didn't know what else to do and just walked over, picked up Judy from the ground, and walked back
to his car.
"Aron!" Angela called out. She couldn't believe that Aron just blamed Martha for everything and didn't
even try to explain himself. And now, he was leaving, with that woman in his arms. It was so unfair to
Martha. NôvelD(ram)a.ôrg owns this content.
Lulu rushed over, grabbed Aron by the arm, and said, "Aron, open your eyes! The woman you are
holding now is the one who tried to sabotage your family. Your wife is over there!"
Shooting back a glance at his sister, Aron replied, "I've got this. You don't have to worry about us!" He
tried very hard to make himself sound calm.
Deep down, he wished that it was Martha who had come to stop him. In that case, he would have
definitely let go of Judy and gone back with her. But Martha didn't try to stop him... He was convinced
that she didn't love him at all.
Angela and Lulu watched him go away, unable to speak another word.
After Aron and Judy had gone out of sight, Angela and Lulu exchanged looks and gathered around
Martha. Just as they were about to say something to comfort Martha, she let out a faint smile and said,
"You don't have to worry about me. I am fine... Really."
