The Seductress

CHAPTER 11

“Fiona…” Wayne drawls. “You should be in bed now you know” He groans as he takes his eyes off the phone and kicked off his shoes. Fiona scoffs loudly, and she stare at the screen again.

“I’m not thirteen Wayne!… I just wanna be sure if my eyesight is strong, or I’d need to see the optician” She roll her eyes as Wayne chuckles lowly.

“Fine…. you don’t need to see an optician”. She gasps and bat her lashes.

“So you mean you were the one with selene!?” Wayne rakes his hand at his hair but doesn’t reply. She’s a curious cat.

“Don’t fuckin tell me you guys are dating!” She squeaked.

“Fiona!” He reprimands as she shoots her self and plump down the couch beside him.

“Okay Wayne…. I’d try not to freak out” She shut her eyes and suck in her breath, before releasing it slowly.

“I’m back to normal now!… Are you seeing her now, went out a couple of times… come on brother what aren’t you telling me!” She pout at him, her eyes pleading. Wayne sighs.

“Fiona… that’s the first time I’m actually seeing her at a close range. She went on a date with Zach but shit went wrong when she abandoned him and came over to my table” He still couldn’t believe it. He imagined Zach probably getting wasted with a couple of drink in his mansion. Fuck it!.

“Oh my gee!, that was the most bravest thing anyone could do. That means she couldn’t resist your cuteness. How did it go?. Was she cute… tell me you couldn’t take your eyes off her” She teased and Wayne growls

“Fiona… not tonight, I need to get to bed on time And college is resuming soon… you need to start preparing alright?” Fiona arch her brows.

“Wait a second Wayne. Are you saying you’re gonna pay for my college fees” She blurt out, pushing all thoughts of Selene away. His lips twitched In amusement. Fiona has been so sad when she finished highschool and he didn’t have enough cash to pay for her college fees But now he would do so, he’d try… for her, cos she’s always wished to go to college.

“Yeah yeah you heard me right, or do you wanna see an audiologist?” He rolls his eyes and she giggles.

“How about mom’s medical bills, shouldn’t we be focusing on that first?” She couldn’t stress Wayne out knowing mom’s medical funds are yet to be complete.

“Third Anderson rule Fiona?” Fiona smiles and threw her arms around him.

“Believe… Thanks so much Wayne” She say tearily as he ruffles her hair.

“Okay crybaby that’s enough, act like a nineteen year old kid okay” Fiona sniffles and wipe off her tears.

“I’m not crying Wayne… I’m a big girl now” She flips her hair dramatically and he chuckles.

“Alright then I’d just go see mom” Wayne gets off the couch as she nods and saunter happily to the kitchen to fix dinner.

“Bye mom” Wayne says and pecked her on the cheeks, tucking strands of hair back to her ears.

“Wayne…” She whispered lowly. Her lung disease made talking painful and so she barely did, except when necessary. She wished she could get cured and not depend on Wayne for everything. She felt useless for not being there for her kids when they needed her the most. Wayne squats to her height as she sat on the bed in her room.

“Yeah mom?” He smiled, staring at her pale eyes with bags underneath. She raise her hand to run it through Wayne hair.

“Thank you Wayne… I wouldn’t know what to do without you or Fiona” She swallow painfully as tears cloud her eyes. He takes her hand and press his lips against her knuckles.

“You don’t have to thank me mom… it’s my duty to protect you, and id always do so… but you just have to stay strong mom… I’d hate to lose you” He playfully glare at her and she forced a weak smile.

“Yeah Wayne, I’d stay strong. I’m just forty you know” She smirk and Wayne laughs and peck her on her temple.

“Thanks mom, I should heed out to work” He smiles and picks up the car keys from the nightstand before striding out of the room.

“Morning ma’am” Gwen greets as she sets the cup of coffee on the coffee table.

“Morning Gwen… You’re kind of late today…. Everything’s good?” Selene says in concern as she lean forward on her seat. Gwen nods her head.

“I’m sorry about that ma’am but I was stuck to the television till late at night”. Selene wraps the mug around her fingers and takes a small sip.

“Then I guess it must be for a good reason right?” She nods immediately.

“It is ma’am… A politician was mudered few days ago” Selene shuts her eyes at the words but opens it seconds later. She drops the mug on the saucer and run her hands through her hair.

“Good riddance to a fucker like him” Gwen blurts out. Selene arch her brows at her.

“You don’t seem to like him that much” Selene voice out and resumes sipping at the coffee. Gwen scoffs.

“How smart of you to figure it out.. I’ve always loathed him, he’s among those corrupt dickheads who bought their way to whatever fuckin position he is now” Selene widen her eyes at her words. Gwen bites her lips.

“Forgive my curse words ma’am” She says and Selene smiles and shrugs.

“So…. The killer did the right thing…. is that what you’re trying to say?” Selene eyes watches her, awaiting her reply with bated breath. Gwen paused and twitched her lips.

“Good job to the killer ma’am” She whispered and smirk. Selene looked down her coffee as she fights the urge to smile It was one thing killing someone and another thing to know she did the right thing. All rights © NôvelDrama.Org.

“Thanks for that Gwen” She says with a smile.

“Huh?” Gwen asks in surprise. She blinks and force a smile.

“I meant the coffee Gwen…. thanks for the coffee” She slides the saucer across.

“Alright ma’am” she smiles and pick it up before walking out of the office.

Selene run a brush through her long curls and flip it to her back. she pursed her lips staring at her reflection in the mirror. Satisfied with her look she got off the the chair and slid her feet into a pair of heels. She straightened up and double checked the black tiny strapped dress she wore. It was provocative, as it brought out all her curves.

“Perfect” She mutter and stride out of her room. She had a lunch date with one of her numerous horny fuckers. She had searched him up the net, but they hadn’t let out any personal information of him. Not even his picture. But from the text and promises he made she knew he’s gonna be a rich guy. She walk down the stairs leading to the large living room. She couldn’t continue living in Mrs grace house after she died. It held bad memories. She had left it in the hands of a caretaker and all the workers had relocated to the new mansion she bought. She had a separate account, where she kept all the money from the men she laid with. She used it in many projects for the poor masses. Being poor is like some sort of disease. She smiled at the few maids in the living room and make her out of the mansion

Bill leaned against the white sports car with a cigarette stick dangling between his lips. He straightened up when Selene walks out, looking irresistible in the dress she wore. He remembered that night vividly. The feel of him in Selene. The way she handled him and rode him to the best orgasms he’s ever experienced. Since then he’s always looked forward to another night with her. Kept hoping that one day she’d let him have her again.

“Are you gonna let me in or you’re just gonna keep staring” Selene smirks as she stood in front of bill.

“Sorry Selene…. I just got carried away” His eyes held lust as he opens the backdoor for her to get in. He was the kind of guy that thinks about a lot of things. And as he got into the driving seat and ignite the engine, he wondered if there was anyone who’d see Selene and won’t get wild thoughts in his head.

“Thanks Bill” Selene smiles as she got out of the car. The ride had taken an hour and he kept her company all through. Bill nods and shut the door close.

“I don’t really like you accompanying me whenever I’m going on a date but I’d let you drive me home today. I may be wasted then” He nods as she turned to walk into the lobby of the hotel. No doubt the exterior of the hotel meant it was a rich guy she was going to see. He got into the car, trying to keep out the annoyance he felt.

Selene punches the button for the penthouse as the elevator door shuts and begin to ride up. Unfortunately she’s been thinking a lot about the guy she met last night. Zachary Campbell had better be ready, she’s got a big surprise coming his way.

The elevator dings as it slides open and she step out. She walked towards the only door available on the hallway. Her date is obviously a rich one. She turns the door knob and walks in without knocking. Her eyes stop on the figure standing at the glass walls with smoke from the cuban cigar he held. He turns almost immediately and the color drained out of her face as she stared at him.

“Hi Selene” He grins sheepishly. She clutched her purse tighter. She knew this grin, knew she’d never forget the eyes of one of the men who had raped her, took her virginity and made her this way. She looked away, as the tears came… blurring her vision.
