“Iris, y-your here?” Cleopard asked while looking at me, I just smiled at him before coming in front of him, I didn’t go to greece because I thought I would just go to italy to surprise him and my suspicion was correct, he couldn’t believe I was in front of him now while bea is at the door with me, to go here today in italy.

“Hey, how are you?” I asked him awkwardly while playing with my fingers on my back because I was nervous, I avoided making eye to eye contact with him because I didn’t know how I would feel, I pretended to smile as I rolled my eyes around the corner of their house.

“If you’re here to convince me to tolerate your acts to take your revenge, then leave I won’t help you.” He said coldly so I looked back at him, his shocked expression earlier when he saw me was replaced by an emotionless expression.

“It’s not what you think okay.” I said because he seemed to have misunderstood my sudden appearance in front of him.

“So what do you think I would think? You leave Philippines to be with me forever? Of course that won’t gonna happen because you still love that bastard who f*cking caused you pain while I became your own medicine who’s f*cking idiot that willing to heal you, because I f*cking loved you even though you will only caused me pain at end!”He yelled in front of me using his sarcastic voice. I could see the pain in his eyes when he said those words right in front of me, I could also see how he stopped the tears from dripping into his eyes, he couldn’t stop the tears from dripping into his eyes while looking straightly in his eye because I can also feel the pain he feels.

“I-I’m s-sorry…. I’m sorry if I only caused you p-pain…. I feel it when ever you’ll do everything just to make me happy…. you’re the one who becomes my comfort zone when Eliot cheated on me….. I’m sorry and I know even I say a million sorry to you, the pain you feel every time Eliot is the one I mentioned for the years passed can’t be alleviated… but believe me I’m learning to love you, and so I’m here to stay by your side until I learn to love you.” I cried telling him.

“Would you let me be with you until the end?” I asked him. I saw how joy stained his eyes, and he suddenly turned away from me so my two shoulders fell before I bowed down, it looked like he didn’t want to see me anymore. I stood for a few minutes while someone suddenly grabbed my two shoulders so I looked up, cleopard’s face opened up to me that you can see with joy as his eyes were shining looking at me.

“Why is your face like that? I thought you were going to coax me so I turned around but you just stood there and do you know you made me upset?” He said pouting, just now I saw this side of him being childish in front of me, so you couldn’t help but I just smile because of his childish act.

I hugged him suddenly because of the inexplicable pity I felt because I thought he would never forgive me again.

“Thank you.” I whispered softly to him as I hugged him tightly because he was too tall for me until he was just my shoulder. I felt he also hugged me because I feel his two hands on my small waist.

“I should be the one who will say that word, because you give me a chance to be with you and be your only husband.” He suddenly said that’s why I slowly moved away from him because what he said was really surprising.

“W-what do you mean about you, being my husband?” Astonished I asked him. He suddenly put his two hands on the back of his neck and fidgeted and that’s when I saw that he removed his Silver necklace and I saw a silver ring there, I didn’t even notice that about him during my time with him. plus, I was probably too blinded by my love Eliot years ago. Suddenly he knelt down in front of me while holding the ring he had taken around his neck earlier.

“I Cleopard Devinson asking a marriage to you, Iris Lou Ephraim and be my wife until my last breath.” He said with a smile as he looked at me. There was a mixture of shock and joy and I felt a little sadness as I put my palm in my mouth and tears dripped from my eyes looking at him.

“Would you let me be your husband?” He asked again, I couldn’t help but nod because I couldn’t refuse him and hurt him again especially now that I could see the joy in his eyes as he looked at me as if I was the woman he would take care of the most in his whole life.

“Don’t just nod, I want to hear in your own mouth the answer that I want to hear from you.” He says.

“Y-yes…. I Iris Lou Ephraim letting you Cleopard Devinson to marry me and be your wife until your last breath.” I answered, he took my hand and put the ring there before standing up and pulled me closer to him, I just felt his lips on my forehead and he put his forehead on the two of us so I just closed my eyes before remembering everything Eliot and I remember, I will gradually erase everything because I thought the one who will proposed to me like this, someone else would do it.

I have nothing to do but focus on cleopard in the time and days to come, I will try to be happy with him and replace with good memories the pain I experienced in my past.

“Thank you, and because I got your sweet answer. Yes, I will never allow you to go to someone else or to go back to the man you first loved from now on. You’re just mine, you’re just mine.” I heard him say softly while I was still closing my eyes, as if he was possessive when he said the word he left but I just let him and I felt him wipe the tears on my cheek and I also felt him kiss my two eyes and finally he kissed my nose before I opened my eyes.

I saw the joy and claim in his eyes so I was scared there because he looked like an obsessed while looking straightly in my eyes.

“Iris promise me you will stay here from now on and you won’t gonna go out without my permission?” He asked with a smile, so I nod to myself because of he says and acts now, was my decision to give him a chance right or was I wrong.

“Good.” He says.

“Mom, dad.” We looked at bea at the same time who was looking at the two of us so I pushed cleopard a little and faced bea straight away.

“Both of you are too over reacting.” Bea said next before walking on the sofa and sitting down there.

“This is your fault.” I blamed cleopard before I hit him.

“Why me.” Laughing he said before squeezing my waist closer to him.

“Wife.” He whispered so my cheeks suddenly turned red and he quickly removed his hand from my waist before walking over to bea and sitting next to her.

“Mom, it’s a great sign to thrill dad that his hair is about to turn white.”Said bea.

“Bea, I can still give your mom a child , I’m not old yet.” Because of Cleopard’s rebuke, I blushed even more.

“Ewwww, dad your too corny promise, I don’t know why I went with my mommy. I just know that you’re like this when you two meet.” Said bea.

“Bea, you can only blame your daddy because I also didn’t know that he would do this.” I’m against bea.

“Uncle pard!” Suddenly a child shouted on the stairs and ran down until he reached Cleopard and hugged his two legs.

“Anastasia baby did you sleep well?” Cleopard asked the girl and I just realized that it was Anastasia.

“Yes Uncle, I just want to know when can I see mom and dad?” She asked as cleopard ruffled Anastasia’s hair before speaking while smiling.

“Your lucky you’re going to see your mom and dad this day because someone just came and that’s my soon to be wife.” Smiling cleopard said to anastasia.

“Really?! Thank you!” Anastasia said happily that I just realized that Eliot and I were involved in a fight with the innocent child.
