When Eliot came out of the door of the room where I am now, my face suddenly returned to a sad expression, I don’t know how I can resist the trial I’m carrying now, my daughter Anastasia disappeared while I’m also having illness.

Too much thinking I did not know that the door opened and Dr. Ramerez appeared there. She has been my best friend ever since.

“Hey, how are you, are you feeling okay?” She asked me as she approached me, I just nodded and smiled hard at her.

“Did you tell Eliot earlier what my condition was?” I asked her but she just shook her head.

How long will I remain this way? I’ve known everything about Eliot for a very long time, but I’m keeping quiet because I don’t want to lose him. I’m not sure if I should just give him away. Every time I wonder if they would reconcile so that I can stay, it aches, especially now that her ex-lover is back. I’m the one who stole and destroyed a relationship out of desperation, and even if I insisted that everyone knew, I’d still come out on the losing end. I also can’t show Eliot how bad I am; yes, sometimes my demonic nature shows itself, but it will not lead to the slaughter.

“Hey, are you hungry?” He asked me as he walked closer to me.

“It’s not hubby, you’re just come in right time I already feel hungry.” I answered him, I saw him smile and arrange the food on the side table of the hospital bed.

“Then let’s eat, I’ll feed you so you won’t get tired.” He said so I just nodded to him before moving slowly so he could sit next to me. He arranged everything before taking a chopsticks and a plate and he put a cup of rise, Bulgogi, while on the table was the rest of food, I wondered why he was carrying only one plate.

“Wait, hubby why are you only holding one plate? Where are you going to eat?” I asked him in surprise so his attention went to me.

“What do I think?” He said before he started to feed me so I did nothing but eat what he fed me and I was even more shocked when he next ate the food with the chopsticks he used to feed me.

“Aren’t you feeling awkward, hubby?” I smiled and told him so but he just shook his head and quietly feed me again.

Time passed when we finished eating and he put away what we both ate, I just watched his every move until he finished and stood beside me.

“Sleep that I’ll watch over you until the sun comes up.” He said so I went to bed.

“Hubby, the doctor came here earlier and she said I can discharge tomorrow.” I lied to him because if we stay here longer, he might find out about my condition.

“That’s good news my queen.” He said before he kissed my forehead and he sat down on a plastic chair next to the hospital bed.

“Can’t you sleep?” I asked him.

“I’ll sleep but I’ll be waiting for you to fall asleep first before I go to sleep.” He said softly. But I couldn’t calm down when he didn’t sleep so I moved to the left and tapped the space on the hospital bed where I was lying, telling him to sleep next to me, he didn’t do anything but sleep next to me. I made his arm as pillow before I hugged him.

I could feel his hot breath above my head but I just closed my eyes before hugging him tightly, as if I didn’t want tomorrow to come because I felt like I would lose him. I can’t afford to lose him, I’ll try to fight even though I know I’m still the loser in the end.

“I want us to always be like this.” I said softly to him. But I didn’t get an answer from him. “It’s looks you’re already asleepy, sleep well hubby.” I said before letting the darkness swallow me.
