“You’re, daddy. In fact, you’re the best.” Roselet answered without waiting for a second.
“Then why do you need Mommy?”
“For you.”
“Are you being serious? I already have a mom.”
“But Grandma Sophia is busy looking after Grandpa Brandon. I want someone to look after you and cook tasty food for you, which I can’t. Also, I will leave you after finding my mate. So, she will stay by your side even when I won’t be there for you.” Roselet tried to give reasons. “Ouuuchhh!!! Calvin.” She cried when Calvin pinched her stomach.
“You can’t convince me, Rose. I have passed your age twenty-seven years ago. I know what you are trying to do. Hit two birds with one stone. But for your kind information, whatever loves does for dad or dad does for mom is because of love, not because they have five children together.” Calvin said. “And if you’re so much interested in getting me a mommy except Mom, then did you forget the first rule of the requirement?”
Roselet pouted and nodded her head. She wanted someone to love and take care of her daddy just like her daddy loved her.
‘I can’t be selfish. Mommy must love daddy, and daddy should also love Mommy. But how will they fall in love with each other?’
“Come on, now!! I will tie your hair.” Calvin said when he saw Roselet not asking him anything. “What kind of braid do you want?” He asked her.
“Anything at the front with a high ponytail,” Roselet responded, to which Calvin nodded his head and made her seat on the bed to grab the comb, her matching hair clips, and Rubber Hair Bands. Once upon a time, it was the toughest work for him. He kept Roselet’s hairstyle as a boy cut till three and was planning to keep it for longer, but when Roselet started observing the long hair of girls of her age. She demanded the same for her, and not just that, she wanted different types of braids on her hair with multi-color hairclips when her hair grew longer.
At present, her hairs were a little below her shoulder. It took Calvin just a couple of minutes to finally tie her hair like an expert.
“Perfect now,” Calvin said, kissing her hair. “Let’s pack your bag, and then we are leaving.” He added.
“Daddy, Mom…”
“Enough, Rose. I don’t want to wear anything about her. I heard Abigail Smith saying that ‘don’t go on her innocent face, Ethlyn. You were right about her yesterday; she is indeed a thief.’ It means she called you a thief yesterday, didn’t she?” Calvin asked angrily, folding Roselet’s clothes to pack them.
“It was my mistake. I was roaming in her house, so….”
“Don’t try to protect her, Rose,” Calvin growled at her. “I can’t forgive anyone calling my princess a thief.”
“But you slapped her.”
“Thank me that I didn’t break her jaw. How dare she!! And if your Uncle Colton would have been at my place, then he would have cut her neck then and there. So, I did nothing compared to him. Now, change the topic.” At the same time, someone rang the doorbell.

“What did you just say?”
“Mommy?”
“Listen, pup; I’m not your mommy. Just because you don’t have a mommy doesn’t mean you will call me mommy.”
“You’re my mommy. It’s just that this truth is unaware of you.”

Ethlyn cried, recalling her conversation with Roselet. ‘She told me that I’m her mommy, and I didn’t believe her.’ She talked with Cinder. She didn’t know how she was going to apologize to her pup. All she hoped was that Roselet to forgive her.
‘How bad she used to feel whenever I was rude to her.” More tears rolled out of her eyes thinking this.

‘I’m not your damn mommy. Leave; I don’t want you anywhere near me. You’re pissing me off, pup. I want to stay alone with my son, not you. So, GOOOOO.’
‘I just want to spend some time with you, but you’re pushing me and acting like a rude mother.’Content © copyrighted by NôvelDrama.Org.

‘I’m sorry, Rose. I’m so sorry. You were right. I’m very bad but please forgive your mother.’ She prepared for the speech that she would say to her. Feeling guilty and excited to finally meet her as a daughter, she rang the doorbell. She wiped her tears and rang the doorbell again. The next second, the door of the guest house was opened, shocking her because the man in front of her wasn’t among the people that come with Zordan.
“Yes?”
“Alpha Calvin and his pack members?” She asked, sensing the light scent of them as if they were not here now.
“They left already.” Hearing it, the color of her face paled.
“What? When? Where did they go? Toward the cemetery or toward the exit of the pack?” She asked, but she got the answer to her question when she observed the sound of the chopper that she was ringing from the moment she walked out of her house, but she ignored it then.
‘No! No! No! No!’ She thought and ran a little in human form, then gave control to Cinder and followed the sound of the chopper.
On the other side, Roselet was ridding on Calvin’s wolf, holding his coat tightly with a long face. She wanted to meet her mommy for the last time before leaving, but she couldn’t. She recalled that the doorbell had rung at that moment; it was Beta John informing them about the arrival of the chopper in their territory. Since there wasn’t a helipad in their pack, so they had to climb using a ladder made of wood and rope.
