The Rejected Luna: Daddy, Where is Mommy?

He didn’t waste a second before walking toward the door. The moment Calvin knocked on the door, Christian opened the door.

“Good Morning Alpha Calvin.” He greeted and sensed Calvin’s anger next.

“Where the hell is that mate of yours?” Calvin growled venomously, pushing Christian away from the door, and walked in like a king who owned the whole place. And that was true. It was indeed his pack house. Last night, they chose to stay in the extra rooms of the pack house instead of staying at Zordan’s place because Abigail had to answer a lot of questions from her parents, who were very pissed at her.

“What happened, Alpha Calvin?” Christian quickly stood between Calvin and Abigail, wondering what had happened all of a sudden.

“Why don’t you ask that question with your mate?” Calvin growled before adding, “In fact, not you; I will ask that on my own.” Saying this, Calvin pushed Christian toward Zordan to hold him because he wanted to deal with Abigail Smith on his own.

“Alpha Calvin, dare to touch my mate,” Christian growled at Calvin. “Whatever the problem is, you can talk rather than hurt her physically.” He added and tried to fight with Zordan, but Zordan had locked him in his grip.

“Zordan, I’m your father-in-law.”This is property © NôvelDrama.Org.

“That’s why I’m making sure that my mate won’t end up losing both her parents at the same time, dad,” Zordan said and mentally thanked himself for sending Reva and his parents to Calvin’s penthouse because everyone was planning some games between men verus women.

“What do you know about that night that we don’t?” Calvin asked, walking toward Abigail dangerously.

“Nothing.”

Keanu took control of Calvin’s body and slammed Abigail into the wall. “I won’t repeat my question, woman. Don’t trust my patience.” He warned. “Tell me why did call Isabella West, and how did you know her?” He asked again, fuming in anger.

“I don’t know what you are talking about?” Abigail asked, acting all innocent, and that was when Calvin lost it; he grabbed her by her neck and started slamming her head against the wall in a repeat mode.

“No!! Stop it!!” Christian shouted and used all his strength to fight against Zordan, and thankfully it worked this time. He ran toward Calvin to attack him, but Calvin was already prepared for it. He did not just stop Christian’s fist that was going to say hi to his face but also threw him away.

“Christ!!” Abigail cried in pain and horror.

“Ohh! You didn’t cry once when I was hitting you, but your heart was ready to come out when you saw your mate in pain.” Calvin smirked and started walking toward Christian, knowing very well that where he had to use his energy to get the answer to his question.

“Wait! No!!” Abigail tried to stop Calvin.

“Zordy,” Calvin said, and Zordan came in between Calvin and Abigail.

“Mom, either you will have to open your mouth or see your mate getting tortured in front of your eyes,” Zordan said with a smile.

“He is your mate’s father.” Abigail cried when Calvin picked Christian with his collar.

“Unfortunately, he has to pay the price of his mate,” Zordan replied.

“Nooo!!!” Abigail cried when Christian received the first punch, and the worst, Christian didn’t even try to protect himself. He just watched his mate, wondering what did she know but no one else didn’t. Even he wanted to know the answer to the question that Calvin was looking for, and if this was the only way, then let it be…

“Christ!! Alpha Calvin!! Please stop!! You will kill my mate. Please stop… please stop!! Please…pleasee!!” She kept shouting and crying, but Calvin ignored her plea. Abigail could see that if she wouldn’t speak the truth, then Calvin would end up killing her mate for sure. “I will tell the truth. Please, Alpha!! Please leave my mate.” She begged when her wolf sensed that the bond with Christian’s wolf started getting weak. It wouldn’t be long before Christian would die.

“Keep speaking, Abigail. The moment your mouth will stop speaking, my hand will start punching your mate.” Calvin said, still not leaving Christian, who was almost unconscious and bleeding badly.

“Ethlyn was right. She was right. It was indeed a trap.” Abigail said, on which Calvin’s jaw clenched.

“You did to her?” Calvin asked.

“No. She is my daughter. Why will I do this to her?”

“Then Nathan?”

“No,” Abigail replied, shaking her head. “Even he was unaware of it.”

“Then whom are you trying to save, Abigail Smith?” Abigail started crying instead of replying to Calvin. “Speak up, damn it! I don’t have a whole day.” Calvin growled in anger.

“My…my other daughter.”

“Reva?” Zordan muttered in confusion. He couldn’t believe that Reva could do something like that. She was immature but not evil.

“No.” Abigail shook her head. “Elena, my first child and Ethlyn’s elder but half-sister.” She replied, wiping her tears. “She was already mad and hated me for abandoning her when I separated from her father. She just couldn’t control her anger when she came to know that Nathan was Ethlyn’s mate because both Nathan and Elena were dating before Ethlyn came into the picture.”

“But Nathan left her for Ethlyn. So, she made sure Nathan would leave Ethlyn too.” Abigail said before adding. “She was the one who had drugged Ethlyn that night. She was the one who set Ethlyn in your room by hypnotizing her with the help of a witch. Ans she was also the one who was keeping you when you started flirting with Isabella West. She was the one who had paid Isabella West never to come into your room so that she could use that moment to swipe Isabella West with Ethlyn. Everything. Each and everything was her plan.”
