He stormed out of the board office.

Gianna was already packing her things when Terrence approached her.

“Hey, going home already?” She was startled by the shock. “Terrence!” She shrieked.

Terrence then help her fix her things.

“Uhm.” he scratch his nape as he continue “can I invite you for lunch?” He ask. Gianna smiled at him and simply punched his chest.

“Well, okay.”

They were about to leave when Gianna smelled the familiar and seductive smell of the perfume. she tilted her head and saw Ezequiel’s cold and expressionless face.

Gianna was about to speak but Ezekiel pinched her on the side.

“Hehe.” she fake a smile “I’m with Sir Ezequiel, next t–” he didn’t finish what he was going to say because it pulled him away quickly. And he almost ran at the speed and big steps of Ezekiel.

“Sandals!” She stopped while capturing her breath. Ezequiel stopped and faced her coldly. “What ?!”

She gulp several times before she answer. “Slow down, my foot hurts.” She said.

Ezequiel slowly looked at his feet, and he saw that he was still wearing her killer heels.

“Wait here.” he said then leave, Gianna saw a chair So he immediately approached there and slowly sat down. Her feet is aching so d*mn much.

“That assh*le!” She mumbled while rubbing her foot, because It was red.

A few minutes later Ezequiel arrived with a shoe box with him. he removed Gianna’s shoes.

He just watched Ezequiel as he put an ointment on the swelling part, before he put on the sneakers he had bought. He knows It’s new because It’s still tagged.

“Aww!” He moaned So Ezekiel raised his head. “Stay still.”

“Take it easy, it’s so painful!”

Gianna just glanced at Ezequiel while Ito was driving, because it had been so quiet since he left EJC.

“What?” Ezequiel Blurt out still looking at the road.

“Where are we going?” That’s really what she wanted to ask earlier but she can’t. Ezekiel doesn’t answer and It just keeps driving. Gianna didn’t say a word and just looked out of the car. Why it’s so familiar to me?

He turned to Ezekiel again to realize where they were going. They are heading to the mansion.

time pass by and they arrived at the mansion.

“What are we doing in here?” She asks out of curiosity. “Lunch.” Ezequiel answered.

She close his eyes deeply because of irritation. Keep it short! I’m really going to kick you!

he just followed Ezequiel, when he came to the door Ezequiel suddenly grabbed his hand which surprised him greatly.

Her eyes widen and her cheeks turned red. He just bowed.

it immediately approached Ezequiel and hugged him so tight then kiss his cheek. This is exactly how her grandmother treated her, Ezequiel simply looked at Gianna with a confused face. Gianna just smiled at him as her ear turned red so she immediately avoided looking at the girl. the reason why they are here in the mansion is because Ezequiel’s grandmother came home and wanted to eat with him.

The old man turned to Gianna and a smile formed on her lips.

“Who’s this lovely maiden?” she asked and examined him, she felt disgusted because of what the old man had done.

“My girlfriend.” He said while looking at Gianna. The old man’s smile immediately widened because of what he said.

“Your girlfriend is so beautiful.” The old man’s manners.

Gianna can’t understand what they’re talking. he wanted to ask Ezequiel but the old man was already their mother at the dinner table. Ezequiel simply looked at Gianna who was still frowning. He stop and face Gianna.

She lifted her hand and stretched her forehead, so Gianna slapped her hand.

“What!”

they both turned around when they heard a cough behind them, when they turned around, four pairs of eyes were looking at the two of them so Ezequiel immediately lowered his hand and arranged for us.

“Shall we eat?” Eleonora asked wearing her mischievous grin.

Gianna’s cheeks immediately turned red and she bowed in embarrassment. Damn!

“I’m so glad you’re here.” Eleonora looked at Ezequiel who was just quietly eating, finished at him again. “Did Ezekiel invite you?”

He was about to answer when the old man answered their conversation.

“Supposedly Eleonora, she is my niece’s girlfriend.” The old man said, Eleonora was immediately blindsided and shocked to look at Ezequiel who had no emotion on her face.

He turned to Gianna with a look of astonishment on his face again. W-what were they talking about.

he was surprised when Eleonora suddenly hugged him.

“I’m so happy hija, from now on you are part of the family.” He said and stroked her hair.

“A-Ahm ..” she doesn’t know what to say, especially and she doesn’t know what they were talking about. he turned to Ezequiel but he was seriously eating.

Their lunch went well, except for Gianna who was uneasy especially with what Ezequiel said. What did he say.
