The Last Ceo’s Deal

Chapter 8 I ran.

CHAPTER EIGHT.

Diana’s POV.

Three Hefty men barged in without warning and took turns in searching around as if they actually own the place.

The audacity!!

“Where’s she?” The tallest of them asked.

“Where’s who?” I asked back trying to act bitchy but the glare they sent back at made me return to being cool.

“Mr Webb’s daughter.” He said and Christine’s Mum jerked up.

“What do you mean by that? Didn’t you all scurried my girl away with your heartless Boss some moments ago? Why are you now asking such a ridiculous question?” She now stood up.

“Where did you keep her? Answer me.” Mrs Grace’s eyes welled up with tears as she asked for her daughter’s whereabouts. The guys seemed confused as well but they kept acting tough.

“Don’t try to play smart ma’am, Your daughter kind of escaped while we were trying to get into the mansion with the gate being opened. We are definitely sure that she’s nowhere but here.”

“And you’re very proud to stand before me to spew such nonsense, you let a weak vulnerable girl beat you over to escape from a car full of hefty idiots.”

“Mind your words ma’am we thought she was intoxicated and she slept only for her twitched the eyeballs on one of my men and runoff from the car”

“How interesting, well my daughter isn’t here and God tell you that my daughter shouldn’t be found, you will know what it means to dance to the tunes of the law.”

Mrs Grace said and the men were really confused as they searched everywhere and Christine wasn’t anywhere around the house. They were about to leave when I said something.

“Let me follow you.” I told them and Mrs Grace gasped.

“Are you crazy, Diana?”NôvelDrama.Org © content.

“No Mum. If Christine is missing, I need to follow them to ensure that she’s found and she’s safe. If she isn’t found, then we need to report to the authorities to let them know their next line of action.

I will be so restless now that Christine is nowhere to be found.”

I say and she seems convinced. The men too had no choice especially for the fact they pronounced her missing with their mouth.

Mrs Grace thanked me so much and warned me seriously to return back home and let her know everything about her daughter.

She was far from worried as she was slowly getting into depression.

An incident of less than 24 hours has sunk deep into her that she’s becoming a shadow of herself.

I left with the men and we were set to look for Christine. My goal isn’t entirely to look for Christine, my goal was for them not to find Christine yet so I could have access into the Hudson mansion, and then have an opportunity to see the man of my dreams.

Thoughts of that alone gives me goosebumps and chills all over my spines, Fanuel was more than an angelic beauty that could swoon anyone over his or her feet. He was a man both for the guys and the ladies.

For once in my life I wish my dad was a manager of Hudson chemical technology, I wish he was the one that stole and embezzled the company’s funds, then I get a chance to be kidnapped and to live with him.

Christine’s Pov

I was tired of running, like what’s the point of running away from the foundation of your problems.

No matter how I hide I’ll definitely be fished out or my loved ones will pay for it.

Thanks to having a fiasco as a dad.

The mansion I saw with my eyes while fleeing was the greatest I’ve ever encountered and set my eyes upon. No, it was heaven, but the thoughts and possibilities of what I might face there clouded my whole being. The so-called men were asleep as they thought I was asleep too.

The moment the carslowed down for the automatic gates to slide open, I quietly opened the door with force and luckily for me it was open.

Before anyone could say jack, I rolled on their body and landed out of the car. And dear Lord……

I ran.

I ran with these strange super powers I never knew existed within me. It was an exquisite estate all owned by the Hurdson’s. There’s no way I could ever escape without getting caught.

Thankfully for the short walled fences, I jumped on it and landed myself still in Hurdson’s vicinity. It was the power plant streets, where all electrical appliances were connected to a source.

Each house contains a power voltage connecting one or two appliances in the Estate.

This was useless.

It was useless running from them, how could I even think of that? Even if I finally escaped from this den, what about Mum and Easton? They will surely suffer under the hands of Fanuel Hudson. I should rather accept this and pray for the best to come out of this. I’m already a wood for the woodpecker and nothing can change that.

I’m tired of crying, no way!!

I’m done wasting my tear river. This was the harsh reality I was faced with, it’s either I keep crying or I make the best memories and create happiness out of it.

I’m going back to the mansion.

******

The gate slid automatically and I watched in glee and wonder. I walked in and took my time to survey the beauty of art in this wonderful exterior part of the mansion.

It was so colourful. The waterfall was a beauty to behold as white birds flew around it, while some sat to drink the water.

Flowers were beautifully engraved and crafted in the middle. It was huge! Yellow, red and royal blue, glittered under the sun.

THE HUDSON’S.

Yeah! It was engraved that way and I was amazed. One couldn’t look up at the house cause it could blur your vision, it was sparkles of glitters as the sun reflected the golden decor of The Hudson written boldly at the top.

The mansion was pure white and not even a stain was detected. It was more like a stone.

I looked around and I was swayed with greatness, how did one achieve all these? It screams class!! Wealth!!

I don’t even belong here, poor me! A part of me was lucky to view this world class mansion. I wish Diana was here, we would have screamed in sheer shock and taken thousands of pictures to flaunt on our Instagram story and page.

Thinking about Diana made my heart crack, I will surely miss her. Gosh!! How did this even happen?

I stepped into the house and I could see myself reflected on the ground. This one is purely made with a mirror, Diamond tiles with golden lines by the edge. I was still admiring the beauty of the house when I heard a loud voice that brought me out of my reverie.

“THAT’S HER!! SHE’S HERE BOSS.”

Some men rushed to me like some pack of sugar or as if I will dissapear any moment. I sigh deeply cause I know that I’m in for it.

The guy that was seated beside me earlier in the car, carried me with force and in the twinkling of an eye I was dropped before the most gorgeous pair of icy blue eyes.

He was blazing hot with his red Calvin Klein T shirt and a black Nike sweatpants. I’ve seen canvas all my life but this one was the classiest of all, a white Adidas white canvas. I raised my eyes to look at this prince charming face but a loud heavy slap was crashed on my face.

I seethed in pain as I tasted blood.

“How dare you!!” He thundered in the most sexy voice I’ve ever heard.

Damn! He’s harsh.

“It’s no denial that it runs in your blood, you think you can run from me the same way your dad fled, huh?!!” He raised his hands to hit me again as I closed my eyes in anticipation for the next blast.

“That’s enough Fanuel, she’s just a young girl.” I wished I had opened my eyes to see my defender.

His voice was calm.

“Oh please Jayden, spare me that bullshit and don’t even start with the lectures.”

He did say dismissively and was about to say something when noisy footsteps distracted us all from the entrance of their living room and we all turned our gaze.

Three hefty men were coming towards our direction with a young girl. What made me gasp in surprise was the girl.

That’s my friend, Diana.
