CHAPTER FOURTEEN.

Diana’s POV.

It was really hard trying to get in here, I wouldn’t take no for an answer as I always strive to get what I want by all means and at all costs.

I couldn’t stop thinking about Fanuel ever since I set my eyes on him physically, he was the beauty of beauties. I was starstruck and I had to find every means to be in that mansion.

I had applied to work as a maid in the Hudson’s mansion online. I waited for days but my email kept on pending. I was so frustrated and my mum noticed that, she asked me to share the issue with her, I only told her my desperation to get into the Hudson’s mansion and work as a maid. Mum yelled thunder and brimstone on me for going there all because of my friend. She never wanted me to indulge myself with Christine just because of her recent predicament.

I pleaded, I cried, I rejected meals and I became sick just because of being a maid in the Hudson’s mansion. The thoughts alone that Christine get to see Fanuel every blessed day drives me crazy to core, I want to see him too, I want to be near him also.

I just didn’t want this golden opportunity to slip even if it means using Christine as an excuse to get in there.

I tried every nook and cranny but nothing was working out for me , the obvious truth was that getting into such mansion requires connection and help from those related to them.

It was going haywire for me as I sourced do the only thing left on my mind. I needed to be assertive by all means, I packed my bags and belongings and went straight to the Hudson’s home.

First person I requested to see was Jayden Hudson, he was the calmest person in the house and he will have no choice than to accept me in there by all means.

He hesitated at first because he felt his brother won’t be pleased at all by such idea, but I yelled and told him that someone has to watch out for Christine or they will think she’s not alive or she’s been kidnapped.

She happens to be the one who’s going to stay here and watch her out while she work here as a maid.

He stared at me for decades without saying anything before letting me in. He called one of the maids to get my bags and show me Christine’s room, I was elated.

The building was everyone’s dreams, it was like a prince living in a fairy land.

Gosh, I wish to be that princess who will capture the prince’s heart.

The room was too beautiful for a maid. It could never be compared to our house back there, it was everything gold!!

It was too serene and peaceful and breathtaking.

“Diana?” I turned towards the direction of my name.

“Oh my!! Christine!” She shrieked in happiness and we engulf ourselves in a hug.

“I can’t believe you’re here”

“I can’t believe that too!”

“Thank you Diana”

“For what?”

“For coming here, I know you did this because of me.” She said and I rolled my eyes. If only she knew, I’m here for my man…but I’m also here for her though, I missed her a lot.

“It’s nothing Christine, I would go anywhere and make sure you’re okay”

“Thank you, I’m feeling so emotional right now.”

“What are you waiting for, Bring the tears baby.”

We both laughed and disentangle ourselves.

I noticed the girl beside us as she kept smiling at us.

“I’m Laurel, your friend’s new friend.”

I chuckle.

“Christine was already cheating behind my back in the space of how many days!! I’m so hurt and jealous right now.” I fake a crying face.

“You two are just alike, crazy in everything.” Laurel laughed, she was pretty, very pretty that I’m already thinking that Fanuel might consider taking her as a wife.

God forbid!! I will scratch her pretty eyes out.

“Yeah, she’s more like my twin”

“Then you both are in for it in this house with the boss.”

She said and Christine groaned.

“Must you always mention him to spoil my mood?”

“Which boss?” I curiously asked.

“Your sweetheart crush” she glares.

“Is he that bad? The last time I was here, I thought he was only in a bad mood”

“Really?” They both chorused.

“Yeah?”

“See let me tell you something about your wonderful crush. I know he has a grudge on me because of my dad’s shitty crime with the company but he’s still naturally proud, arrogant, cruel, selfish, wicked and agrressive as hell.”

“Eeish!! Christine…that’s too much” I tell her and she glares.

“Wait until you have an encounter with him, then you will likely add yours.”

“Yeah, she’s right. He’s kind of worse this days because of the marriage that’s kind of taking a troll on him.” Laurel said.

“Marriage?!!” I almost screamed.

“Yeah, haven’t you heard?”

“I know about him getting married so he will be able to sign a contract, I read the news every blessed day about him and he always insisted on never getting married yet, I’m just surprised.”

“Well, he’s still insisting on that though but he has no choice in this case. Maybe he will finally get married to his ex, the president daughter.”

“He had an ex?” I asked out of jealousy.

Poor girl, what could she have done to a prince to piss him off in such manner, she could have cherish him like an egg and guard him jealousy till the end. Since she’s here, she has to make sure he noticed her by all means.

Christine collected my smart phone and unlocked it.

“It’s really weird that I don’t know a thing about this our arrogant boss, let me check the website and find out some wonderful fact about him.”

She said and typed his name on the Google search icon. It loaded for a few minutes and every damn thing about him popped up.

“What?!” She screamed.

We all rushed to look at the phone and I was shocked to the bone, when did this happen?
