Chapter 50 – The Full Moon

We are standing in the clearing, waiting for all those packmembers who wish to run with us tonight. I

look down at Laura and bends down kissing her forehead. When finally, everyone is here I clear my

throat.

“Hello everyone, its always amazing to see us all together before we let out our wolves. Before we run,

I have one announcement to make. I have bid welcome to an old family friends from our Queens family.

This very old witch has her magic given to her by light and love. After she tonight does a

spell that will make protection for our kids, she wishes to rest and just enjoy the rest of her life. So, I

granted her a house in the forest where she can be in peace. And I command everyone to respect that.

With that said I think we should run and

I look down at Laura again and smile as I take her hand and walk to the forest line. I bend down kissing

her long and softly pushing her shoulders traps down so her dress falls to the ground. I drop my shorts

It doesn‘t take long before howls are heard throughout the forest and running paws fall heavily on the g

es, and getting there we see a figure standing in the dark. Several wolves come up standing next to us,

but I hurry to shift and command.

“Stand down, this is Valerie, the friend of your queen‘s family.” They

do as told And back away. I hurry to take on my shorts and help Laura, get her dress back on. Before w

e turn back to Valerie.

“Valerie, I apologize my people do not know your scent. So they.” I am cut off by small laughter.

“Oh, your highness. You do not need to apologize. It‘s their job to keep you and your queen safe.” She

says calmly

“Thank you for understanding,” I say bowing my head slightly and she nods smiling.

I finished putting the protection spell into the stones on the bracelet, and I am quite happy with its finishi

ng result. With 3 powerful stones on it, I had the chance to make the spell even stronger. Now I am wait

ing for the king and queen to hand over the bracelet and warn them. And hopefully, it‘s not too late.

*FLASHBACK*

I had

just finished the protection spell for the little wolf. When I flash consumes my mind and I am pulled into

hope that the child does not yet get these visions. It can be a lot for a child to bear. But I know I need

to warn the King and Queen

I am standing in the dark, waiting patiently when I see the 2 wolves come out from between the trees.

More wolves come out of the forest and immediately get to a protective stand, I always admired how

wolves protect each other. In a flash the king shifts back to his naked human form and orders them all

to stand down and after he and the queen are both dressed he turns to me.

“Valerie, I apologize my

people do not know your scent. So they.” The king starts but I stop him by laughing softly

“Oh, your highness. You do not need to apologize. It‘s their job to keep you and your queen

safe.” I tell him

ever say.” He says and handing over the bracelet to his queen, who takes it with tears

of relief in her eyes. I bow my head again.

“If you have time I need to talk with you both, urgently,” I say in a low voice so only the king can hear m

Back at their house he leads us into his office motion for me to sit, and makes sure the queen is sitting

comfortably before sitting down himself.

“What do you need to talk with us about?” he asks. I take a deep breath.

“2 things. But first I need you to understand that what lead to this was nothing but an

accident. But when that is said, I

think it will be in your best interest that it did.” He looks at me suspiciously and I don‘t blame him.

“Yes and I believe that this one specifically has something to do with the queen. I saw a dark–

haired man and a red–haired girl talking, her telling him the queen was

pregnant when she first came to this pack..” The king looks at me and asks.

“Red–haired?

“Yes and dressed rather sinfully.” The king looks at me and then I see his eyes glaze over in a mindlink

before he curses.

“What is it?” The queen asks him softly. He looks at her full of regret.

“Camille… she. We. It was as with Danielle.” He whispers.

“You mean?” she looks at him and he gulps.

voice and stands up before leaving, leaving the king with a regretful emotion shining in his eyes.
