Ashleigh’s POV

A few days have passed and the school year will begin today here at Magica Academy. I have already told Stheno what Professor told me, except for the last thing Professor told me, Stheno has taught me to spell some magic as a Sun Attuned. When I told them I was a Sun Attuned they could not believe that, I was a Sun Attuned. Until Stheno tried to get me a spell to cast so they could believe.

Flashback

When I left Professor Radagast’s faculty, they immediately approached me to talk to me and ask what had happened inside.

“What happened? What did Professor say?” Shreya and Lizette asked one after another.

“Tell us!” they said at the same time.

I backed away from them because they were so close to me and I could not immediately answer their questions.

“Wait! Wait! Just one question please, calm down.” I shouted as I give them death glares.

They all backed away and laughed.

“Sorry, Ash we’re so excited to know what kind of mage you are.” Ember explained while laughing.

I sighed and then looked at the door of the Professor’s faculty. I remember what he said earlier.

‘You will play a big part in this world, you will face many difficult trials and you will fall many times, but you will also get up immediately to fight and face every obstacle in your path for the truth … that is your destiny .’

“Ash, is there a problem? You used to be quiet and just sigh.” Stheno asked me worriedly.

“No… I just remembered something.” I answered and then laughed.

I can’t tell Stheno, even though I don’t know how to sink into my mind what Professor said to me, What more if I told Stheno?

“So what did the Professor say?” impatiently says Shreya.

“I’m Sun Attuned.” I answered directly.

They all fell silent at what I said.

“S-Sun Attuned? Really?” Elgin asked incredulously.

“Yes, I’m serious!” I answered them directly again.

“Are you really serious?” Jax asked.

“Yes, you are naughty?” annoyed I told them.

Stheno pulled me over and whispered that I said a spell for them to believe.

“Pura lux solis!” I said and then held out my hand and there suddenly a circle came out and it shone like the sun.

They all stopped while Stheno smiled at me.

“Just close your palm and that will disappear.” she said and I did it immediately.

As she said, the ball glowed as the sun disappeared.

“What is the spell you told me earlier Stheno for?” I asked him.

“Well that is just a simple spell that can be used when you are in a dark place but sometimes at night you will have a hard time casting spells because you are a Sun Attuned… you are stronger in the morning but at night you will have a hard time using such spells related to the Sun . ” he explained.

“The only moon attuned can make other spells at night.” Ember said.

Moon?

“Who are the Moon Attuned you are referring to?” I asked them in astonishment.

“Diasspro and Trison.” said Lizzy.

“Your cousin, Stheno?” I asked.

“Yeah, my cousin and her cousin on her dad’s side.” said Stheno.

“I see…” I just kept quiet after hearing what she said.

The next day Stheno started teaching me simple spells, on how and where I can only use them.

End of Flashback

We are in the lobby now and waiting for the school emcee to announce our opening ceremony today.

“Jeez! It’s been so long, I want the class to start!” very bored Shreya said.

“Maybe you want to wait, you’re in too much of a hurry.” annoyed Stheno said.

I stood up and let them know I was going for a walk. I stopped at a pond where Elgin first saw me, just near the entrance of the Magica Academy.

I noticed a man standing right near the pond, I was only about 2 meters away from the man, he had white hair and I think he was 5’4 in height.

I walked closer to the pond and sat on the grass, quite far from the man standing.

“I see, You are the woman I saw with Elgin.” he said as I immediately turned to him.

He was already facing me and staring badly.

“And you’re the man who called Elgin.” I said while staring at it.

“I am, you are not from here… who are you?” he asked me without emotion.

“Why do you need to know?” I asked while staring at him badly.

He smirked as he stared at me.

“To find out the name of a trespasser like you.” it says and walks away.

I bit my lip so hard because I was annoyed with that man.

‘WHAT IS HIS PROBLEM WITH ME?’

I sighed and just stared at the view of the pond, I lost my annoyance with the man earlier.

Suddenly I remembered something … but I could not say what it was… so I got up and just went back to where my friends are. When I returned, Elgin and the others were there, along with Shreya and Stheno.

Third Person’s POV

When Ashleigh approached her friends, they also went to the gymnasium. And when they arrived, Magica Academy’s emcee Haven started announcing. The other Elite 10 members and the Council are also in the meeting. Diasspro and her friend Madison can be seen staring at Ashleigh’s group. While Vicious members are at the far end of the gymnasium stationed.

“I hope you will be good students at the beginning of class, have fun and learn at Magica Academy!” Haven said aloud and then went down the stage.

All the students shouted and left after Haven had finished speaking.

“Are you ready for your first class, Ash?” Stheno asked with a smile.

Ashleigh took a deep breath and then smiled at Stheno.

“Yeah! I’m ready.” Ashleigh said seriously.

“Elgin and I had our first class in the Charm Class.” said Shreya.

“Cadmus and I’s first-class are to Professor Kingsley for the Water Attuned study and spells.” Ember said.

“Lizette and I are in the Potion Class with Professor Radagast.” said Stheno. “You’ll be separated from us, can you do it on your own?” Stheno asked Ashleigh worriedly.

Ashleigh smiled and took Stheno’s hand and said “Yes I can, don’t worry… just see you later at the Cafeteria.”

“All right! Good luck Ash!” said Stheno and she and Lizette left at the same time.

“Later Ash~! Good luck!” Shreya said cheerfully and she and Elgin left

“See ya, Ash!” Cadmus and Ember left together while waving at Ashleigh.

Ashleigh was alone, she took a deep breath and glanced at the paper posted on the bulletin board about each student’s first classes.

“Ashleigh… Ashleigh … Ash — Ahh there it is! Fire Attuned and spell class? Professor Lamia.” whispered Ashleigh. “I guess my first class is the fire class hahaha.” Ashleigh laughed again.

She was walking backward when she felt something she had stepped on.

“S-Sorry I didn’t mean to.” bowed Ashleigh said.

“What? Do you not know how to look where you are walking and stepping on?” annoyed the man said.

Ashleigh raised her head and there she saw who she was stepping on and she could not believe it.

“Y-You again!” they both said at the same time.

“When will you disappear from my sight?” annoyed question of the man.

“What is your problem with me?” Ashleigh also asked the man angrily.

“What’s my problem with you? My problem with you is that you are so stupid!” said the man while there was no emotion.

“Ahh like that? You know your reason is useless, I’m sorry if I stepped on you but to argue with you? I’m sorry I don’t have time for that.” Ashleigh also said without emotion and walked away.

The man was left stunned as Ashleigh walked away.

“Did she have the courage to tell me that? Wow… she probably didn’t know me.” smirking the man said and walked towards his first class as well.

“The thickness of his face to tell me that! It’s so annoying!” said Ashleigh while inside the restroom.

She adjusted her clothes and took a deep breath while facing the mirror.

“You can do it Ash… don’t be nervous.” she said to herself and stood up straight and stared at herself in the mirror again.

After losing of her nervousness, she went out to look for her class…

She met a woman with books, she was wearing a pair of glasses, with long red hair. She turned to her and smiled at her.

“Hi, You’re new here, aren’t you?” the woman asked her.

“Yes, are you Professor Lamia?” Ashleigh asked politely here.

“Yes I am dear.” the woman replied while smiling at her. “Come with me.” it’s says and walked inside the class.

Embarrassed, she just accepted the offer and went to class at the same time. Arriving there the professor immediately introduced her.

Ashleigh’s POV

“Guys, we have another new student to join here at Magica Academy. Please treat her nice okay?”

“Yes Professor.”

“Now please come inside Ms. Nevrakis.”

When she called my name, I immediately went inside. Everyone was staring at me when Professor Lamia called me.

“Come on, introduce yourself, Dear.” smiling Professor Lamia said to me.

“Hi everyone, my name is Ashleigh Jaime Nevrakis, you can call me Ash if you like.” I said then bowed my head.

“Thank you Ms. Nevrakis, you can sit next to Mr. Calux.” said Professor and pointed to the vacant seat next to the man who…

Suddenly my mood worsened when I saw who the man next to me was.

‘Him again?’

He just stared at the front and ignored me until I was sitting next to him.

“Okay, class let’s start our discussion.”

Professor continues to teach about the uses of Fire Spells and how to use them properly. Until Professor made us do an activity.

“Okay class, Let’s try to cast the simple spell… do you see the small pieces of wood on your tables? You need to ignite it with the spells I teach out, always remember… Focus”

I started to close my eyes and put one hand on the piece of wood and started to focus.

“Ardente Sole.”

As I opened my eyes I was startled by a burning piece of wood that looked like a yellow flame.

“Great Job, Ms. Nevrakis … you did well… you made a bigger advantage by being Sun Attuned… Keep up the great work.” she said and smiled at me and went around the whole class again to see what the other students were doing.

“Who do you think you are, even if you are a Sun Attuned you still nothing with us? How pathetic?” no emotion it says to me that made my blood boil.

“ex ignes flammae” he said and suddenly the piece of the wood flamed in red color. “This is the proper use of the spell… you buffoon.” he said and smirked.

Professor suddenly approached front him.

“You’re not really disappointing me Mr. Calux… Great job” Professor said and left again to go around with other students.

“Told you.” said Calux and averted his eyes.

‘Wow, who does he think he is? and what is his problem with me ?!’

“I am Prince Calux Zephyr from Fleland, sitting in 1st seat of Elite 10… the Fire Attuned” he said while looking out the window.
