The Good Girl's Revenge

Chapter 556

Chapter 556

Parker suppressed the surprise in his heart and looked at Meredith seriously. "What are you going to

do?"

What was she going to do...

Meredith didn't know. They separated, but because of Easton, they were always entangled with each

other from time to time.

If Evelyn married Derek, Meredith wouldn't leave Easton to Evelyn.

Evelyn and Easton could never get along well.

Then her concern was how to take Easton away from the Xaviers.

"Mer, are you thinking about Easton?"

Parker looked at Meredith. It seemed that he had seen through her mind.

He had thought of this too. Since they had a child together, they would never be able to separate.

After all, Easton was their biological child.

"Let me think about it."

Meredith sighed and returned to the room.

Only then did she see Easton swinging his fair calves and focusing on the game console.

Meredith stared at him for a long time. She wished Easton would grow up as happy and carefree as he

was now.

But it seemed that there were some things he needed to face after all.

"Mom, hey!"

Easton heard the door open and threw the game console aside. "Where have you been?"

"Nowhere. I went out to meet someone."

Meredith smiled wearily. Although she had done nothing, she felt physically and mentally exhausted at

the moment.

"I felt the person you met was not a good person."

Easton was always sharp. When he saw Meredith's expression, he felt something was wrong.

"Why do you think so?"

Meredith couldn't help but look at Easton. Sometimes this little guy would say something unexpected.

"It's just a feeling."

Easton was speechless. He approached Meredith and sniffed at her, which made her laugh.

Did this kid think he was a police dog? Could he smell it and tell who it was?

"Well, disgusting perfume."

Easton wrinkled his nose and said so.

His nose was sharp, and he was sensitive to the smell of perfume. He would often get a headache

when he met people who liked to spray perfume.

The perfume smelled familiar. Anyway, he didn't like it.

"Forget it, stop fooling around."

Meredith shook her head and sat on the bed, tidying up the bed that Easton had messed up.

Then, as if by accident, she said, "Easton, what do you think if we leave J City and go somewhere

else?"

"Where? Is it fun?"

Easton didn't know what Meredith meant. His first thought was that Meredith wanted to travel.

He was too willing to go for a trip so that he didn't have to go to school or do homework. There was

nothing better than this in the world.

"Can dad go with us?"

Easton was naive enough to think that traveling together would help his parents be closer.

Meredith was surprised and did not know how to answer.

When children thought of anything, they naturally felt that they should be with their parents.

But...

"No, he's not going with us."

"Why not?"

Easton was confused. Was it because dad was too busy with work?

It was impossible. No matter how busy dad was, he never neglected his family.

"Mom, are you in trouble?"

Easton guessed something at once.

"No, nothing. Just asking."

Meredith quickly denied it. She didn't expect Easton to look so careless on the surface, but he turned

out to be so sensitive.

"Oh..."

Easton nodded, but he was still suspicious.

Meredith had expected this result, but she did not know how to deal with it. S

he was upset.

...

After Parker sent Meredith back to her room, he found someone to ask for Evelyn's contact information.

Although he had no good feelings for Evelyn, they were at least on the same side now, so it was okay

to make use of her for the time being.

He was never an honest man who followed the rules. He would do anything to achieve his goal.

Evelyn was going to ignore Parker. She didn't even know who he was.

But Parker sent her a message. "If you want to know how to get Derek to accept you as soon as

possible, then find me."

Evelyn thought about it, but she could not resist the temptation.

She called Derek again just now, but he didn't answer.

This man was colder than anyone she had ever met. He was an iceberg, but he was also more

attractive to her than the people she had met before.

After all, it was fun to conquer someone like this. She would be filled with accomplishment when she

conquered such a person.

"Okay, tell me the place."

When Parker saw the message, he made a reservation and drove over.

He arrived early. After about half an hour, Evelyn finally arrived.

Parker glanced at her and noticed that she seemed to have some bodyguards with her.

Was she afraid that he was a bad guy and would harm her?

But even so, she still came. It seemed that this woman really wanted to be with Derek.

This was even better.

Evelyn entered the restaurant and quickly found Parker's location.

She was surprised to see him.

The man was dressed in casual clothes, with a few buttons unbuttoned at the collar, revealing a solid

chest. He held a china spoon and fiddled with the coffee. He looked casual, but his aura showed that

no one should underestimate him.

He was not inferior to Derek, and they had two different styles: one was upright, the other was evil, but

they were both attractive. Text content © NôvelDrama.Org.

"Sir, are you the one that texted me?"

Evelyn sat opposite Parker, her tone reserved.

"Yes, it's me. My name is Parker."

Parker looked at Evelyn and frowned slightly.

He thought he could see the resemblance between this woman and Amelia, but they actually didn't

look much alike.

Maybe it was an illusion.

Parker stopped thinking about that and said, "Miss Smith, I won't keep you in suspense. I like Meredith.

I have the same purpose as you. I hope they can separate. That's why I came to see you today."

Evelyn was surprised. What the hell? Did this man come to her for Meredith?

Meredith looked ordinary, and so was her family. How could she make two excellent men so obsessed?

"Oh? Why do you think I would agree with you?"

Evelyn was jealous, and her tone was inexplicably angry.
